MT. Anggraini Excellent merupakan tipe kapal tanker yang beroperasi di
Sungai Barito. Pada tanggal 1 Juni 2022 terjadi permasalahan larat jangkar yang
dialami MT. Anggraini Excellent. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, peneliti
menyusun rumusan masalah sebagai berikut : Apa saja faktor eksternal dan internal
yang menyebabkan terjadinya larat saat kapal MT. Anggraini Excellent berlabuh
jangkar di Sungai Barito?, apa dampak yang terjadi dari larat saat kapal MT.
Anggraini Excellent labuh jangkar di Sungai Barito?, bagaimana cara mengatasi
larat saat kapal MT. Anggraini Excellent berlabuh jangkar di Sungai Barito?.
Metode yang digunakan penulis dalam penelitian ini adalah metode
deskriptif kualitatif. Penulis melaksanakan penelitian pada tanggal 20 Agustus 2021
sampai 23 Agustus 2022. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan penulis adalah
triangulasi meliputi, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dalam melaksanakan
penelititian, informan yang dlibatkan adalah Nakhoda, Mualim I dan Mualim II
kapal MT. Anggraini Excellent.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang menyebabkan
terjadinya larat saat kapal MT. Anggraini Excellent berlabuh jangkar di Sungai
Barito diantaranya adalah faktor internal yang terdiri dari jangkar, rantai jangkar,
windlass, draft, holding power dan sumber daya manusia. Sedangkan faktor
eksternal yaitu arus, pasang surut, dan jenis dasar laut. Dampak yang terjadi akibat
kapal MT. Anggraini Excellent larat di Sungai Barito yaitu kandas dan kerugian
bagi perusahaan. Cara mengatasi larat saat kapal MT. Anggraini Excellent berlabuh
jangkar di Sungai Barito yaitu mengubah trim by head, menambah panjang rantai
jangkar/segel yang diturunkan ke dasar sungai, turunkan jangkar satunya, gunakan
mesin utama dengan mengkombinasikan dengan kemudi kapal dan mengadakan
safety meeting

No full textIn this article, the author presents his thoughts on cultural diversity as the motto of Indonesia nation, on the basis of the ideology of 'Unity in Diversity' (Bhinneka Tunggal Ika). The author has a notion that the meaning of bhinneka tunggal ika was emphasized as ethnics' diversity during New Order (Orde Baru) and Habibies rezim era. It represents the consequence of ethnical politics with plural society model used by the regimes. The fall down of the New Order regime, caused any social conflicts and national disintegration especially in a period of Habibie governance. To rebuild social solidarities and the Indonesian national integration, the author offers model of multiculturalism in comprehending bhinneka tunggal ika which emphasizing equal cultural diversity. The author stresses that the model of multiculturalism only possible exist and expand in societies which uphold principles of democracy, justice supremation of law, and also eradication of corruption and collusion

No full textThis thesis uses seismic-sequence-stratigraphic analysis to show the stratigraphic development of the northern Nova Scotia passive margin (the Laurentian Subbasin) during the Cretaceous through Paleogene. It documents the interplay of several variables on margin evolution including changes in relative sea-level, sediment supply, and tectonic activity including thermoflexural subsidence and salt movement. Salt structures, basement-involved deformation, and sparse well control impede the interpretation of stratigraphic patterns in the study area. Despite these difficulties, I have identified eight candidate sequence boundaries using seismic-reflection terminations: (1) top-lap and
truncation below a discontinuity, and (2) on-lap and down-lap above a discontinuity.
Study of the sequence stratigraphy in the Laurentian Subbasin reveals two significant unconformities, the Jurassic-Cretaceous (Avalon) unconformity and the
Cretaceous-Paleogene (KP) unconformity, and seven sequences: three Cretaceous sequences (Sequences 1, 2, and 3) and four Paleogene sequences (Sequences 4, 5, 6 and 7). Change in relative sea level and sediment-supply directions during the Cretaceous are not well documented. Salt tectonics and thermoflexural subsidence created the accommodation space for the Early Cretaceous sequences. System tracts controlled by relative sea-level change show that sediment supply was from the northwest and
depocenters migrated from northeast to southeast during the Paleogene.
Comparison of the Baltimore Canyon Trough with the Laurentian Subbasin shows that these basins in the passive margin of eastern North America have similarities and differences. The similarity includes the presence of clinoform geometries above the KP
boundary indicating aggradational-progradational stratigraphic patterns. The differences include the major Jurassic-Cretaceous (JK) unconformity, the presence of salt structures, and the presence of Paleogene sequences. In the Scotian Basin, the JK unconformity is a major angular unconformity (Avalon unconformity) separating gently dipping Cretaceous
rocks above from folded Jurassic rocks below. However, the JK unconformity in the Baltimore Canyon Trough generally is a paraconformity separating subparallel beds above and below the unconformity.M.S.Includes bibliographical references (p. 32-36)by Ika Sulistyaningru

The type of research conducted by the author in this study is quantitative descriptive research, and total sampling technique is used in data collection. The research location chosen by the author to test hypotheses is the office of PT Ika Wahana Mandiri located at Perum Jalagriya GG1 No 5 RT 025 RW 007, Sugihwaras, Candi, Sidoarjo. The total number of respondents in this study is 61 people. This research uses validity test, reliability test, and classical assumption test to examine the obtained data. The data analysis techniques used are multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, and F-test. Javanese Language Maintenance in Ahmad Tohari’s Bekisar Merah: A Sosiolinguistics Analysis
No full textThis study aims to determine the form of Javanese language maintenance and to describe the factors motivating the use of Javanese language in Ahmad Tohari’s Bekisar Merah. This study will also discuss strategies of language maintenance in literature. The research herein applies descriptive qualitative methods. The results of this study show that the maintenance of Javanese language in Ahmad Tohari’s Bekisar Merah occurs in word forms, suluk, and Javanese philosophy. The factors motivating the use of Javanese language as a form of language maintenance in the novel are (1) the background of the author, and (2) the effort to uphold Javanese language. Furthermore, there are two general strategies of Javanese language maintenance, particularly in literature, i.e. (1) literature spreading, and (2) authors’ loyalty to local languages as the manifestation of language maintenance

No full text This study aims to analyze the use of irony in the novel "Critical Eleven" by Ika Natassa using a semantic approach. Irony is a form of indirect language, used when the speaker or writer expresses one thing, but implies another (Grice, 1975). Irony is a literary device often used in novels to create an additional dimension to the narrative. In the context of the novel by Ika Natassa, irony is present as a strong element in conveying messages and arousing the minds of readers. In this analysis, the researcher identifies and analyzes various examples of irony that are present in the novel. The semantic approach helps in understanding the shift in the meaning of words or phrases used by the author to create irony in the story. Through a semantic approach, the investigator hides the contrast between the literal meaning and the actual meaning intended in this novel. Our semantic analysis includes an understanding of how irony is used to convey conflicting messages, create humorous effects, or convey social criticism. The results of our analysis reveal that irony in "Critical Eleven" provides a strong dimension in shaping the reader's understanding of the characters, conflicts, and themes in this novel. Irony exists as an effective means of arousing feelings, generating reflection, and providing a different perspective in reading and analyzing literary works

The design of this research was descriptive qualitative research. this study will be conducted by descriptive qualitative research as the way to do the research in this case, it will be describe the form and purposes of code mixing. The source of data in this research sample is Critical Eleven Novel by Ika Natassa. The writer chooses this novel because this is one of the most bestseller novels in Indonesia. This novel comedy concept was written by the author of the story as in previous books, which makes the reader is very interested in this novel. The research found six different code mixing form, there are 375 code mixing of word, 78 code mixing of clause, 84 code mixing of phrase, 45 code mixing of hybrid, 13 code mixing of idiom, and 39 code mixing of repetition word. Second, researcher already reads the words by words and puts code mixing in the word as the data and find the reason of code mixing used in the novel entitled Critical Eleven by Ika Natassa was quoting somebody else and intention of clarifying the speech content for interlocutor
