KETERLIBATAN ORGANISASI GERAKAN MAHASISWA NASIONAL INDONESIA (GMNI) CABANG SURAKARTA PADA PERISTIWA REFORMASI 1998 DI KOTA SOLO
Get PDFThis research examines the organization of GMNI Surakarta Branch. GMNI Surakarta Branch itself had a role in the 1998 reform event in Solo City, namely participating in making concepts in demonstrations in Solo City, GMNI Surakarta Branch itself also actively included its cadres in internal campus organizations and alliances on several campuses as an example SMPR, SMPTA and DRMS. This study uses the Historical Method. GMNI is one of the largest organizations in Indonesia through one of its branches, namely the Surakarta branch which was also involved in the 1998 reform event. GMNI Surakarta Branch itself is also active in including its cadres in internal campus organizations and alliances on several campuses for example SMPR, SMPTA and DRMS. Another role and involvement is that GMNI Surakarta Branch also took an active part in issuing statements as a critique of several New Order policies which were not in favor of the Indonesian people in several print media institutionally, GMNI Surakarta Branch also played a role in forming the FKPI (Indonesian Youth Nationality Forum) which included there are several external campus organizations minus HMI and several other youth organizations. The impact of the reform itself in the city of Solo on governance is also not much different from conditions nationally, starting from the leadership, namely the Mayor and members of the central and regional legislatures who are held by active members of the military after the reform the members of the military began to no longer serve in these political positions. In terms of economy, the city of Solo is a city that quickly recovered from the 1998 riots among other cities in Central Java.Penelitian ini mengkaji mengenai organisasi GMNI Cabang Surakarta. GMNI Cabang Surakarta sendiri mempunyai peran serta dalam peristiwa reformasi 1998 di Kota Solo yakni ikut serta dalam membuat konsep dalam aksi demonstrasi di Kota Solo, GMNI Cabang Surakarta sendiri juga aktif memasukkan kader-kadernya kedalam organisasi internal kampus dan aliansi di beberapa kampus sebagai contoh SMPR, SMPTA dan DRMS. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Sejarah. GMNI merupakan salah satu organisasi terbesar di Indonesia melaui salah satu cabangnya yakni cabang Surakarta juga ikut terlibat dalam peristiwa reformasi 1998. GMNI Cabang Surakarta sendiri mempunyai peran serta dalam peristiwa reformasi 1998 di Kota Solo yakni ikut serta dalam membuat konsep dalam aksi demonstrasi di Kota Solo, GMNI Cabang Surakarta sendiri juga aktif memasukkan kader-kadernya kedalam organisasi internal kampus dan aliansi di beberapa kampus sebagai contoh SMPR, SMPTA dan DRMS. Peran dan keterlibatan lainnya adalah GMNI Cabang Surakarta juga turut aktif dalam mengeluarkan pernyataan sikap sebagai kritisi dari beberapa kebijakan Orde Baru yang tidak berpihak kepada rakyat Indonesia di beberapa media cetak secara kelembagaan, GMNI Cabang Surakarta juga berperan membentuk FKPI (Forum Kebangsaan Pemuda Indonesia yang di dalamnya terdapat beberapa organisasi eksternal kampus minus HMI dan beberapa organisasi kepemudaan lainnya. Dampak dari reformasi sendiri di kota Solo terhadap pemerintahan juga tidak berbeda jauh terhadap kondisi secara nasional, mulai dari pimpinan yaitu Walikota dan anggota legislatif pusat maupun daerah yang dijabat oleh anggota militer aktif setelah reformasi para anggota militer tersebut mulai tidak lagi menjabat di jabatan politis tersebut. Dalam segi ekonomi pun kota Solo merupakan kota yang cepat pulih dari peristiwa kerusuhan 1998 diantara kota-kota lain yang ada di Jawa Tengah
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
