No full textAbstractThe purpose of this study was to find out how the teacher's strategy in reducing student anxiety in following the tenth grade Arabic subject at Madrasah Aliyah Ibtidaul Falah Samirejo Dawe Kudus. The author uses descriptive qualitative research with three steps, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The research subjects were Arabic language teachers, Counseling Guidance teachers and students at Madrasah Aliyah Ibtidaul Falah Samirejo Dawe Kudus. The results of this study indicate that anxiety is caused because Arabic is a difficult subject to understand so many students complain because they find it difficult to understand the meanings of Arabic vocabulary. In addition, the demand for good grades by parents and teachers is also a cause of anxiety in learning Arabic Maharah Kalam. And the factors behind the anxiety are individual factors, intellectual factors, and student environmental factors. To avoid students' anxiety, the teacher manages students' anxiety about learning maharah kalam in Arabic by providing rational explanations to students why they should learn Arabic. Creating a relaxed and fun learning atmosphere, using supportive psychotherapy, developing a "sense of humor", using a humanistic approach, optimizing counseling and guidance services, developing a fun assessment system that doesn't burden students too much, regulating breathing and mind relaxation to help the student's body relax. Development of ResNet-18 architecture to lesion identification in breast ultrasound images
Get PDFBreast ultrasound (USG) is widely used for early breast cancer detection, but challenges such as noise, low contrast, and resolution limitations hinder accurate lesion identification. This study proposes a modified residual network-18 (ResNet-18) architecture for breast lesion segmentation, aimed at improving detection accuracy. The methodology involves preprocessing steps including red green blue (RGB) to Grayscale conversion, contrast stretching, and median filtering to enhance image quality. The modified ResNet-18 model introduces additional convolutional layers to refine feature extraction. The proposed model was trained and validated on 30 breast ultrasound images, with evaluation metrics including accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity. Experimental results indicate that the modified architecture outperforms the baseline model, achieving an average accuracy of 0.97093, sensitivity of 0.90056, and specificity of 0.97705. Validation by a radiology specialist confirms the model’s clinical relevance. These findings suggest that the enhanced ResNet-18 model has the potential to assist radiologists in more accurately identifying breast lesions. Future research should focus on expanding the dataset, integrating multi-modal imaging, and optimizing model generalizability for real-time clinical applications. The study contributes to advancing artificial intelligence (AI)-driven breast cancer diagnostics, supporting early detection, and improving patient outcomes

Dan inventarisasi dilakukan dalam rangka penyempurnaan pengurusan dan pengawasan yang efektif terhadap barang-barang milik kantor. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan ditemukan beberapa masalah diantaranya pengolahan data masih bersifat manual dimana belum menggunakan database untuk penyimpanan data. Dalam pengolahan data inventaris perlengkapan Kantor Bupati Dharmasraya dibutuhkan banyak waktu dan tenaga karena data inventaris perlengkapan yang terdaftar dientrikan ke komputer menggunakan Microsoft Excel tanpa ada penggunaan database. Untuk meningkatkan pelayanan dan mengefektifkan sistem kontrol inventaris perlengkapan maka dikembangkanlah sistem pengolahan data inventaris perlengkapan yang masih bersifat manual menjadi sistem informasi inventaris perlengkapan Visual Basic.6.0 supaya informasi data inventaris perlengkapan dapat diakses oleh petugas dengan cepat dan sistem yang lebih efektif. A Comparison of Using Multiple Choice and Cloze Tests on Students’ Achievement in Reading Comprehension at Second Semester of English Department of FKIP Batanghari University
Get PDFThe purpose of the study was to find out the comparative achievement of multiple choice test and bracket test in reading comprehension in the second semester of the department of english, University of FKIP Batanghari. This study used a mixed method approach. The subject of the test would be second semester english students of FKIP Batanghari University. Data was collected through two instruments, which were a test and an interview. Based on the results of this study, the author found that students scored higher in the cloze test than in the multiple choice test. The result of the interview showed that the students preferred to answer the question in the cloze test than in the multiple choice question because they were easier to understand. These perceptions confirm the differences in student scores on the first research question. However, the result also showed that the multiple choice test is a better measure of students' reading comprehension. The students' impressions and opinions about the tests and their own performance were recorded and considered. Implications of results and recommendations further research is needed to obtain detailed and usable information to improve students' reading comprehension and achievement in the future

The author conducted an interview to the Head of Regional Revenue Service (Kadispenda) Pekanbaru City. For the questionnaire the author distributed as many as 20 respondents. This research indicates the existence of public ignorance of the enactment of local government regulation (Perda) Pekanbaru City No.112 of 2011 on Ground Water Tax (PAT). PAT collection in particular hotels located in Kecamatan Tampan Pekanbaru City there are still not paid PAT and also there are businessmen who have not register their business to Dispenda Pekanbaru City. Because they thought it was not necessary to pay for the PAT. PAT collection based on city regulation Pekanbaru number 12 of 2011 on PAT is one way to increase local revenue (PAD).Tujuan dalam penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pungutan pajak air tanah di kecamatan tampan Kota Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini menggunanakan metode wawacara dan kuesioner. Penulis melakukan wawancara kepada Kepala Dinas Pendapatan Daerah (Kadispenda) Kota Pekanbaru. Untuk kuesioner penulis membagikan sebanyak 20 responden. Penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya ketidaktahuan masyarakat terhadap telah diberlakukannya peraturan pemerintah daerah (Perda) Kota Pekanbaru no.12 tahun 2011 tentang Pajak Air Tanah (PAT). Pemungutan PAT khususnya Hotel yang berada di kecamatan Tampan Kota Pekanbaru masih ada yang belum membayarkan PAT dan juga para usahawanada yang belum mendaftarkan usahanya ke DispendaKota Pekanbaru. Improved feature extraction method and K-means clustering for soil fertility identification based on soil image
Get PDFThis research is conducting analysis of digital land images using digital image processing techniques. The main purpose of the research is to classify soil fertility based on two-dimensional RGB colored digital soil images. The research is done by extracting features and shapes from the soil image. The research uses methods of segmentation, extraction, and identification against digital soil images. This research is carried out in three stages. The first phase of this research is image pre-processing which begins with the conversion of RGB color image to Grayscale then color conversion to binary which subsequently performs noise reduction with the method Three-layer median filter. The second stage is a process that is divided into the first two stages, namely the process of segmentation by grouping RGB color images into L*a*b which is continued by clustering using the K-means clustering method. The second is the extraction of characteristics of the soil image which is characteristic of shape and texture. The final stage is the identification of soil images that are clustered into two types: fertile soils and unfertile soil. The study achieved an accuracy of 85% which could accurately identify 20 images while inaccurately classifying 5 images out of a total of 25 input images
The Aplication of E-Test On English Subject Using The Model View Controller
No full textThe problem that occurs in one of the high schools is that there is no online-based English exam system, and they still use paper for their assessments. This makes teachers unable to give exams to students if they do not attend school. The purpose of this research is to create an online exam system to facilitate exam administration using the Model View Controller (MVC) to assess online English exams. The analytical method uses the System Usability Scale (SUS), to collect data using an electronic test (e-Test).Unifield Modeling Language (UML), a visual modeling technique used in designing and building object-oriented software for E-Test applications.The results showed that the use of the E-test application in a comparison class in English subjects could improve student learning outcomes to a higher level, from a score of 81.7 to 90.9. Compared to the control class, there was a slight increase, namely an increase in value from 71.5 to 75.8. This proves that the E-test application is used effectively by students for English subjects.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penggunaan Model View Controller (MVC) untuk mengevaluasi ujian online. Sumber data adalah mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris untuk siswa SMA Adabiah Padang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui uji elektronik (e-Test) dengan menggunakan metode analisis System Usability Scale (SUS). Sistem ujian online menggunakan Unifield Modeling Language (UML), salah satu metode pemodelan visual yang digunakan dalam perancangan dan pembuatan perangkat lunak berorientasi objek. Hasil penelitian sangat baik untuk kategori kata sifat dan baik untuk kategori dapat diterima. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa model ini sangat cocok untuk dikembangkan dalam proses penilaian pembelajaran. Kajian sistem ujian online ini bertujuan untuk mempermudah pelaksanaan ujian. Hasil penelitian ini akan memberikan manfaat bagi setiap guru dan siswa untuk memaksimalkan penggunaan teknologi komputer. Sehingga nantinya akan membantu para siswa dan guru untuk melaksanakan ujian di sekolah masing-masing
