No full textDissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Centro Sócio-Econômico.A presente pesquisa objetivou verificar o nível de utilização dos relatórios gerados pelo sistema de informação contábil-gerencial no processo de gestão econômico-financeira das empresas do ramo da construção civil de Santa Maria/RS. Consiste em uma pesquisa exploratória, com uma abordagem quantitativa, cujo processo de análise visou correlacionar a formação escolar do gestor entrevistado das empresas objeto do estudo, com o uso da informação contábil e o grau de satisfação alcançado. A população constitui-se de quarenta empresas filiadas ao Sindicato da Indústria da Construção de Santa Maria/RS e, para isso, efetuou-se um censo, entrevistando-se um gestor de cada uma das empresas componentes do universo pesquisado. Os dados foram coletados por meio de entrevistas com os gestores, com base em um roteiro de perguntas pré-elaborado. Observou-se que há divergência entre os relatórios mais requisitados pelos gestores e os comumente gerados pelo sistema de contabilidade gerencial para dar suporte ao processo de gestão econômico-financeira. Segundo os gestores entrevistados, os relatórios contábeis-gerenciais suprem apenas parcialmente suas necessidades de informações, pois frequentemente são gerados com atrasos e se apresentam de difícil compreensão. A pesquisa permite concluir que os relatórios contábeis-gerenciais disponibilizados pela Contabilidade Gerencial da empresas pesquisadas atendem apenas de forma parcial à necessidade de informações dos gestores

The correspondence discusses the resolutions passed by the Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce.The Bishop James Chamberlain Baker Collection includes letters, documents, and articles about Japanese Americans during World War II. Subjects in the collection include Japanese Americans mass removal, Pearl Harbor and the aftermath, religion, and support from the non-Japanese American community. Andersen (Direttore Maria Giuseppina Di Monte) del Polo Museale del Lazio (Direttore Edith Gabrielli) la performance di Elsa Decaudin "Souffle", seguita dalla conferenza di Frédérique Villemur "L’air me manque: nudité et gravité chez Andersen" (L’aria mi manca: nudità e gravità nell’opera di Andersen) progetto realizzato in collaborazione con L'Institut français Italia / Ambasciata di Francia in Italia.
Protagoniste dell’evento sono la coreografa Elsa Decaudin, artista residente all’ENSAM, École Nationale Superieure d’Architecture Montpellier e Frédérique Villemur, storica e critica d’arte docente presso la stessa Scuola.
Elsa Decaudin interpreta, con la performance Souffle, le opere dello scultore Hendrik Andersen.
Questa creazione originale, concepita appositamente per il Museo, prevede la collaborazione di DJ Bancal; attraverso la performance l’artista, grazie all’energia che si sprigiona dal corpo in movimento, rianima le statue esposte nelle sale del pianterreno.
A seguire, la conferenza di Frédérique Villemur indaga su alcuni elementi riguardanti il processo creativo di H. C. Andersen: in particolare il rapporto tra scultura, anatomia e movimento. Elsa Decaudin interprets, with the performance Souffle, the works of the sculptor Hendrik Andersen.
This original creation, conceived specifically for the Museum, includes the collaboration of DJ Bancal; through the performance the artist, thanks to the energy that emanates from the body in movement, revives the statues displayed in the halls of the ground floor.
Afterwards, the Villemur conference investigates some elements concerning the creative process of H. C. Andersen: in particular the relationship between sculpture, anatomy and movement
Lydia H. Hart Diary
No full textDiary, 1823-1830, 1875 and loose papers 1813, 1831, and undated of Lydia H. Hart of Richmond, Virginia and later Walden, Orange County, New York. The Diary was started by Lydia H. Hart, the wife of Reverend William H. Hart, who was the rector of St. John’s Church in Richmond, VA and later St. Andrews Church in Walden, New York. Diary entries include day-to-day activities and meetings with local neighbors and church patron’s. These neighbors included Elizabeth Van Lew and her parents, which Lydia Hart writes about several times. Most dated entries also include discussion of specific bible verses or Rev. Hart’s sermons. Notable entries include a description of the funeral service for Rev. John Buchanan, former rector of St. John’s Church from 1795 to 1822. Diary entries are chronological and more frequent for 1823 and become less frequent in 1823. In 1828, Lydia Hart moved to New York and eventually to Walden, New York in May 1830.At the end of the diary entries is an entry form another author, possibly by Mary. W. Hart dated 1875. Lydia Hart died in 1831 and could not have made the entry.At the back of the diary and upside down to the diary entries are transcriptions of letters and poems of Lydia Hart’s to various newspapers and and personnel correspondence. Entries include a plea for support to the city of Richmond to take care of its ‘destitute children’, letters to the editor of local newspapers, and poems for the birth of a child or death of a patron.Loose papers include a letter dated Jan 8th 1813, a bequeath request from William H. Hart for the placement of a Tombstone for Lydia Hart, a table of contents for various letters or sermons, a letter from William Hart to a friend from Richmond, and 2 loose undated papers of unknown authorship. The letter from William Hart speaks of the events of Lydia’s death, and inquiries about events taking place in Richmond
