PENGEMBANGAN METODE INTEGRATED RULE OF CHARACTER (IRC) DENGAN PENDEKATAN COOPERATIVE LEARNING
Penelitian bertujuan untuk menghasilkan metode pembelajaran integrated rule of character (IRC) dengan pendekatan cooperative learning yang dapat digunakan untuk mengintegrasikan pendidikan karakter dalam proses perkuliahan sains di Prodi PGSD STKIP Hamzanwadi Selong. Penelitian ini adalah research & development (R & D) atau penelitian pengembangan yang dilaksanakan menggunakan model gabungan antara model Borg & Gall dan Thiagarajan. Prosedur pengembangan dalam penelitian ini meliputi lima tahap, yaitu: analisis, desain, validasi desain, produksi, uji coba dan revisi. Data dalam penelitian ini didapatkan dengan menggunakan empat alat yaitu lembar validasi, lembar penilaian ahli dan praktisi, lembar observasi, dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perkuliahan sains dengan menggunakan metode integrated rule of character dengan pendekatan cooperative learning mampu berjalan efektif. Hasil ini terlihat pada penilaian ahli/praktisi yaitu didapatkan nilai rata-rata 3,96 dan dinyatakan pada kategori “valid†dan secara operasional dilapangan metode yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria keefektifan yaitu dengan didapatkannya nilai rata-rata keterlaksanaan sebesar 79, dan sudah termasuk kedalam kategori efektif. Respons mahasiswa terhadap metode integrated rule of character dengan pendekatan cooperative learning tergolong positif, hal ini tergambar pada hasil angket mahasiswa dengan rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 3,7. Development and Feasibility of Environmental Knowledge Test Instruments With Low Carbon Education Content for Prospective Science Teachers
This study aims to develop and measure the feasibility of an environmental knowledge test with low-carbon education content for prospective science teachers. This study is R&D using the ADDIE model. The content validity of the test was measured on three aspects by five experts, and the content validity coefficient of each test item was calculated using Aiken's formula. The analysis shows that the environmental knowledge test with low carbon education content is classified as strongly valid in 3 aspects with scores of 93.2% (aspect #1), 93.4% (aspect #2), and 94.4% (aspect #3) each. Analysis using Aiken's V also shows that all items of the environmental knowledge test with low carbon education content are in the high category with an average index of 0.92. This study concludes that ecological knowledge tests with low-carbon education content can be developed and are feasible for prospective science teachers to use. As the first environmental literacy test with LCE content, the results of this study provide a new base and reference for research, further development, or application of ecological literacy tests with LCE content
PENDEKATAN ALTERNATIF SEBAGAI STRATEGI EVALUASI PROGRAM DAUR ULANG SAMPAH DENGAN METODE TAKAKURA
Evaluasi program berfungsi untuk menyediakan informasi tentang kinerja seluruh komponen program dalam setiap tahap prosesnya. Artikel ini menjelaskan tentang strategi evaluasi program sosialisasi dan pelatihan daur ulang sampah dengan metode Takakura. Evaluasi ini menggunakan pendekatan alternatif dengan mengkombinasi decision-oriented approach dan program-oriented approach. Bentuk praktis kombinasi tersebut ialah strategi evaluasi yang memadukan dua model yaitu goal-oriented model (Tyler) dan CSE-UCLA model (Alkins). Daur ulang sampah dengan metode Takakura dalam konteks pendidikan saat ini menjadi salah satu aktifitas yang banyak diterapkan disekolah-sekolah khususnya sekolah adiwiyata. Program sosialisasi dan pelatihan daur ulang sampah dengan metode Takakura dilaksanakan untuk mendukung upaya daur ulang sampah disekolah-sekolah. Proses evaluasi ini berlangsung dalam beberapa tahap yaitu define objectives, find situation, select and develop measurement technique, dan collect performance data (Tyler). Proses evaluasi mencakup tiga tahap program yaitu program planning, program implementation, progem improvement. Pengambilan data dalam evaluasi program ini dilakukan menggunakan beberapa instrumen yaitu angket, pedoman wawancara, lembar observasi, check list, dan tes. Data evaluasi selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif (deskriptif)
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR PERKULIAHAN KONSEP DASAR SAINS SD DENGAN PENDEKATAN TEMATIK-INTEGRATIF
Penelitian bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar perkuliahan Konsep Dasar Sains SD dengan pendekatan tematik-terintegrasi yang baik yang memadukan berbagai materi dalam perkuliahan mata kuliah Konsep Dasar Sains SD di Prodi PGSD STKIP Hamzanwadi Selong. Penelitian ini adalah research & development (R & D) atau penelitian pengembangan yang dilaksanakan menggunakan model gabungan antara model Borg & Gall dan Thiagarajan. Prosedur pengembangan dalam penelitian ini meliputi lima tahap, yaitu: analisis, desain, validasi desain, produksi, uji coba dan revisi. Data dalam penelitian ini didapatkan dengan menggunakan alat yaitu lembar validasi, lembar penilaian ahli dan praktisi, tes, lembar observasi, dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perkuliahan sains menggunakan bahan ajar konsep dasar sains dengan pendekatan tematik-integratif mampu berjalan efektif dan mendapat respons positif dari mahasiswa. Hasil ini terlihat dari nilai rata-rata keterlaksanaan perkuliahan sebesar 79 yang masuk dalam kategori efektif. Pemahaman konsep mahasiswa rata-rata sebesar 72,16 dan 73,67. Respons mahasiswa terhadap perkuliahan sains menggunakan bahan ajar konsep dasar sains dengan pendekatan tematik-integratif tergolong positif, hal ini tergambar pada hasil angket mahasiswa dengan rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 3,57. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases.
