Amazon web service microservice security analysis
En las últimas décadas, el aumento en el uso de sistemas de información, de las comunicaciones y la posibilidad de compartir datos al instante, a través de Internet, han traído consigo términos como la ciberseguridad, ya que desde los inicios han existido personas inescrupulosas que desean obtener información confidencial; es por ello que cada año se desarrollan nuevos vectores de ataque y con ello nuevos métodos para persuadirlos. Actualmente, existe un auge creciente sobre tecnologías basadas en microservicios y en el cloud computing, esto debido a su alta escalabilidad, mantenibilidad y facilidad para crear infraestructuras de forma segura. Amazon Web Service (AWS) ofrece diversos servicios que permiten convertir plataformas sencillas en aplicaciones robustas, usando diferentes tecnologías y bases de datos, así como también permite agregar seguridad tanto a las aplicaciones como a los datos que son la fuente principal de todo sistema; por esta razón, se realiza una exploración a la encriptación de bases de datos y documentos, usando servicios de Amazon Web Service como Key Management Service, Amazon Relational Database Service y S3. En conclusión, en caso de que un ataque se materialice, las bases de datos y los archivos encriptados no pueden ser legibles por personas malintencionadas.The increase in the use of information systems, of communications through the Internet in recent decades and the possibility of sharing data instantly have brought with them terms such as cybersecurity, since, from the beginning, there have been unscrupulous people who want to obtain confidential information, that is why new attack vectors are invented every year and with it new methods to persuade them, there is currently a growing boom on technologies based on microservices and cloud computing, this due to its high scalability, maintainability and facility to create infrastructure safely. Amazon web services offers various services that allow you to convert simple platforms into robust applications with different connections, using different technologies and databases, as well as allowing you to add security to both the applications and the data, this last concept is the main source of any system. This is why in this article an exploration of the encryption on databases and documents is made, using AWS services such as Key management server, Relational database service and S3, at the end it will be found that the encrypted files and databases will not be readable by malicious people, in case an attack materializes
Buidling an IoT application using Amazon Web Service
The Internet of Things Technology is growing and becoming more popular in this digital system era. This technology is connecting physical world into the Internet in order to boost the productivity or efficiency of countless aspects of life. How-ever, with the growth of demand of the market, Internet of Things is facing chal-lenges such as Variation of Hardware and Platforms, System Connectivity, Secu-rity. Amazon Web Service (AWS) IoT offers a wide range of functions to help building IoT solutions for lots of use cases and devices. This thesis focus on the main aspects of an Internet of Things System, Amazon Web Service fundamental and its solution in real IoT Application.
This thesis is built around the project, which was carried out as a research of ap-plying IoT technology in Vietnam, by Solution and Technology Unit (STU) of FPT Software. The main purpose of this thesis was to give understandings of building an IoT infrastructure and building a working system of monitoring and controlling IoT system using AWS IoT, which can be applied in real life and used as study case for later development.
In this project, certain sensor nodes were created in order to obtain data from Ambient Environment. The data was transferred to the IoT Gateway using LORA and Zigbee Technique. Afterward the data was analyzed, stored to a CSV file lo-cally, published on a Cloud Server using Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a JSON file. The main AWS feature used was AWS IoT Core. The data finally can be ob-tained by using Android application for visualization, tracking the status of nodes and controlling certain devices such as light bulb or water pumping machine

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Implementasi Serverless Model Aplikasi Sistem Penyiaran Hits Unikom Radio Menggunakan Amazon Web Service Lambda
Teknologi cloud computing merupakan teknologi dengan sumber daya yang dibutuhkan terintegrasi secara virtual. Beragam sumber daya meliputi penyimpanan maupun infrastruktur dihadirkan cloud computing dimana salah satu bentuk infrastruktur yang dapat diimplementasikan adalah serverless model. Berdasarkan hal tersebut tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan implementasi serverless model menggunakan layanan Amazon Web Service Lambda dengan diikuti integrasi backup dan recovery didalam sistem menggunakan layanan cloud computing pada aplikasi penyiaran Hits Unikom Radio. Untuk mencapai tujuan yang dimaksud maka tahapan pada penelitian ini dilakukan meliputi identifikasi masalah, analisis kebutuhan sistem, dan impelementasi analisis pengujian pada sistem. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa serverless model dapat bekerja dengan baik dengan integrasi proses backup dan recovery yang dihadirkan adalah secara real time melalui layanan cloud computing. Namun kekurangan pada penelitian ini adalah adanya limit untuk proses upload file serta penggunaan sumber daya yang besar akan memakan biaya yang cukup tinggi. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan hasil positif utamanya pada studi kasus di Hits Unikom Radio dimana dapat menjawab solusi pada masalah proses backup dan recovery secara otomatis. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dampak penelitian ini adalah mampu meminimalisir terhambatnya sistem siaran serta mampu melakukan pencegahan terhadap data berupa file music maupun data pada database yang digunakan Hits Unikom Radio

Amazon Web Service–Google Cross-Cloud Platform for Machine Learning-Based Satellite Image Detection
Satellite image analysis is a critical component of Earth observation and satellite data analysis, providing detailed information on the effects of global events such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Cloud computing offers a flexible way to allocate resources and simplifies the management of infrastructure. In this study, we propose a cross-cloud system for ML-based satellite image detection, focusing on the financial and performance aspects of utilizing Amazon Web Service (AWS) Lambda and Amazon SageMaker for advanced machine learning tasks. Our system utilizes Google Apps Script (GAS) to create a web-based control panel, providing users with access to our AWS-hosted satellite detection models. Additionally, we utilize AWS to manage expenses through a strategic combination of Google Cloud and AWS, providing not only economic advantages, but also enhanced resilience. Furthermore, our approach capitalizes on the synergistic capabilities of AWS and Google Cloud to fortify our defenses against data loss and ensure operational resilience. Our goal is to demonstrate the effectiveness of a cloud environment in addressing complex and interdisciplinary challenges, particularly in the field of object analysis using spatial imagery
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
