Creencias docentes sobre educación inclusiva en el nivel preescolar en una institución educativa de Lima Metropolitana
No full textEl objetivo de la investigación es explorar acerca de las creencias sobre Educación Inclusiva en docentes de nivel inicial. Los resultados principales giran en torno a 3 aspectos centrales que forman parte de las creencias docentes, los cuales se relacionan con los componentes cognitivos, conductuales y experienciales. En el aspecto cognitivo, aún se evidencia un entendimiento de la discapacidad y las necesidades educativas especiales asociadas al déficit vinculadas al modelo médico, a un enfoque asistencialista y conceptos poco actualizados. En cuanto a los componentes conductuales, las creencias de las docentes sugieren que para poder generar un ambiente de inclusión idóneo, el docente debe ejecutar adecuadas prácticas inclusivas a través de un trabajo en conjunto con los padres de familia y conocer las limitaciones de su rol. Finalmente, las experiencias previas de inclusión de las participantes sugieren que para poder ejercer un desempeño adecuado y de calidad se requieren de capacitaciones y asesoramiento por parte de la institución que sustituya las carencias de su formación académica, además coinciden al mencionar la necesidad de contar con personal de apoyo idóneo que permita complementar las competencias que se requieren para el manejo del aula.The objective of the research is to explore beliefs about inclusive education in early childhood teachers. The main results revolve around 3 central aspects that are part of teachers' beliefs, which are related to cognitive, behavioral and experiential components. In the cognitive aspect, there is still evidence of an understanding of disability and special educational needs associated with deficits linked to the medical model, a welfare approach and concepts that are not very up to date. Regarding the behavioral components, the teachers' beliefs suggest that in order to generate a suitable inclusion environment, the teacher must carry out adequate inclusive practices through a joint work with parents and be aware of the limitations of his or her role. Finally, the participants' previous experiences of inclusion suggest that in order to be able to perform adequately and with quality, they require training and advice from the institution to replace the shortcomings of their academic training; they also coincide in mentioning the need to have suitable support staff to complement the skills required for classroom management
Percepciones de bienestar social en un grupo de adultos pertenecientes a una comunidad urbano-marginal del distrito de Carabayllo
Get PDFEl siguiente estudio explora y describe las percepciones de bienestar social en un grupo de adultos/as pertenecientes a una comunidad urbano-marginal del distrito de Carabayllo. Para ello, se busca profundizar en las variables sociales, culturales y comunitarias implicadas en el bienestar y la salud. Para ello, se realizaron 10 entrevistas semi-estructuradas a hombres y mujeres adultos/as entre los 27 a 42 años de edad pertenecientes a la comunidad urbanomarginal de Lomas de Carabayllo. Realizando un análisis cualitativo, con un diseño fenomenológico y un alcance exploratorio, se logró explorar y describir las percepciones sociales de un grupo de personas. Así mismo, se encontraron entre los resultados más destacados, las percepciones de elementos ambivalentes en las diversas dimensiones del bienestar social. Al respecto, se encuentran elementos de integración/desintegración social, aceptación/rechazo social, contribución/no contribución social, coherencia/incoherencia social y elementos de actualización/desactualización social. Finalmente, se discuten argumentos en torno al bienestar y la salud mental; el desarrollo de políticas públicas, y de las organizaciones sociales, en contextos urbano-marginales; así como también acciones para futuros estudios e investigaciones acerca del bienestar.The following study explores and describes the social well-being perceptions of a group of adults belonging to a marginal-urban community from Carabayllo district. To this effect, this study delves into social, cultural and comunal aspects involved in well-being and health, using a methodological qualitative approach. Following this premises, 10 semi-structured interviews to male and female adults between 27 – 42 years old belonging to the marginalurban community Lomas de Carabayllo were conducted. Performing a qualitative analysis, with a phenomenological design and an exploratory scope, it was possible to explore and describe the social perceptions of a group of people. Likewise, the perceptions of ambivalent elements in the various dimensions of social welfare were among the most outstanding results.
Thereon, social integration / disintegration, social acceptance / rejection, social contribution / disavowal, social coherence / incoherence and social actualization / disactualization elements were found. Finally, arguments about well-being and mental health; the development of public policies, and of social organizations, in marginal-urban contexts; as well as actions for future studies and research on welfare are discussed
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. No full textWe have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
