This dissertation focuses on the study of interactions between Literature, History and Psychoanalysis in the context of contemporary portuguese novel. Under the "Tetralogia Lusitana" by Almeida Faria composed of the novels A Paixão (1965), Cortes (1978), Lusitânia (1980) e Cavaleiro Andante (1983) we investigate how the most recent Portuguese History, which was marked by the processes before and after the Carnation Revolution, appears in these narratives in order to foster what Linda Hutcheon sees as historiographic metafiction. In this sense, we analyzed the issues contained in his work Poetics of Postmodernism (1991), which orientated us to think as Almeida Faria reinvents the Portuguese History in economy fictional of his novels. To deal with the relationship between Psychoanalysis and Tetralogia Lusitana, we use the thinking of Freud and scholars involved in psychoanalytic literary criticism to reflect how the parricide, the sign of death, mourning, melancholia, and dreams of characters can be read at the family level of the clan of Alentejo as an allegory of political events marked by the fall of Salazar. Furthermore, we demonstrate that the event of death of the father is the critical point where all speeches of the History and Psychoanalysis converge, from the actions of the characters that are far apart but can communicate among themselves, according to esearcher Lilian Jacoto (2005), through some kind of poetic of distances

Pseudoryssomus triangulus sp. nov. (Fig. 11) Description of holotype (female). Length 5.26, width 3.89 mm. Form elongate oval, widest at middle of elytra, somewhat flattened dorsoventrally (Fig. 11 C). General color yellowish red, middle of thorax and abdomen yellowish red. Outline of pronotum and elytron discontinuous. Pronotum yellowish red, with a basal black spot, translucent at apex; finely, densely punctured; pubescence of semidecumbent yellowish hairs (Fig. 11 D). Elytra yellowish red with a triangular black spot, almost extending to apex, not reaching the humeral callus (Fig. 11 A). Elytral punctures intermixed coarse and fine, dense, slightly larger than on pronotum; sparse in the discal area. Antenna, mouthparts, hypomera, epipleura, and legs brownish yellow. Metaventrite finely, sparsely punctured medially and anteriorly; coarsely, densely punctured laterally and posteriorly with punctures large, often confluent. Abdominal ventrites coarsely punctured, punctures separated by about a diameter or less, punctures becoming coarser laterally (Fig. 11 B). First abdominal ventrite with postcoxal line incomplete, extending beyond middle of first ventrite; precoxal area coarsely punctured on base of cavity (Fig. 11 E). Genitalia with genital plates triangular, elongate, styli with setae; spermatheca elongate, uniform (Fig. 11 F, G). Male. Unknown. Etymology. The name of this species refers to the shape of the spot on the elytra. Discussion. Pseudoryssomus triangulus sp. nov. is somewhat similar to P. crucifer sp. nov., but is clearly distinguished by the shape of the spot and male and female genitalia. Brazil, São Paulo: 1 ♀, CCDB 4728, Cananéia, intertidal region in the ferry terminal to Ilha Comprida, coll. T. Davanso & R. Pescinelli, 26.ix.2013. Distribution. Western Atlantic—Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil (Pará, Bahia, São Paulo). Previous records. Cananéia (Almeida et al. 2014). Remarks. Alpheus petronioi belongs to the A. heterochaelis species complex (Almeida et al. 2014). The records of A. heterochaelis from São Paulo made by Luederwaldt (1919) correspond, at least in part, to the A. armillatus complex (Christoffersen 1984; Anker 2012). Other records of A. heterochaelis from São Paulo (e.g., Luederwaldt 1929; Abreu 1980; Mortari & Negreiros-Fransozo 2007) and from other regions of the Brazilian coast mentioned by Soledade & Almeida (2013) must be carefully considered because they may include misidentified species.
