Siaran Televisi Berbasis Islam (Studi terhadap Televisi alhijrah Malaysia)
Full text linkPenelitian ini berjudul “Siaran Berbasis Islam (Studi Terhadap Televisi AlHijrah Malaysia.)” Penelitian dilatarbelakangi karena program siaran yang berbasis Islam dianggap merupakan program-program yang tidak menarik atau tidak menghibur. Produser berupaya secara kreatif menarik perhatian penonton. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui program siaran Islami pada televisi AlHijrah, untuk mengetahui kendala yang dihadapi oleh pihak manajemen televisi AlHijrah dalam menerapkan penyiaran berbasis Islam dan untuk mengetahui pandangan masyarakat terhadap acara-acara keislaman yang ditayangkan televisi AlHirah. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada TV AlHijrah dan tokoh masyarakat Malaysia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yakni wawancara dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian berita TV AlHijrah menggunakan teknik informatif yang berbentuk hard news, program acara majalah (magazines), talk show dan dokumentasi menggunakan jenis program soft news yang berbentuk informatif, dan program acara drama, musik dan permainan, mereka menggunakan jenis komunikasi hiburan (santai). Kendala external di stasiun ini adalah kurangnya pengiklan, tantangan pemirsa, kurang tenaga pekerja dan pekerja profesional, kurangnya tenaga pengajar, saingan teknologi antara stasiun di Malaysia. Sedangkan kendala internal, susah menarik perhatian penonton, pengiklan dan sponsor untuk meningkatkan pendapatan stasiun, selain itu menyesuaikan aturan syariat, pemerintah, penonton dan pengiklan. Selanjutnya yaitu kurangnya penonton dalam program talk show agama. Pekerja berbagai aliran, kekurangan keuangan. Respon dari masyarakat terhadap acara keislaman di TV AlHijrah mendapatkan tanggapan yang positif, dan memberikan manfaat. Untuk meningkatkan jumlah pemirsa, responden menyarankan agar dapat memperbanyakkan lagi promosi, memperbanyakkan program hiburan islami, disamping mengkaji waktu sesuai bagi program tertentu

Full text linkKajian ilmiah ini mengkaji pengaplikasian Prinsip Islam dalam intipati program keatas TV AlHijrah. Penulis telah memilih 12 rancangan yang disiarkan di TV AlHijrah bagi dinilai intipati rancangannya yang telah dimasukkan ke dalam buku kod bagi menjawab objektif kajian yang kedua. Penulis juga turut melakukan temubual bersama dengan Ketua Unit Kawalan Kandungan TV AlHijrah bagi mengumpul maklumat bagi menjawab objektif kajian yang pertama. Penulis telah menggunakan empat Prinsip Islam iaitu al-Ubudiyyah (pengabdian), al-Mas’uliyyah (tanggungjawab), al-Musawah (persamaan) dan al-Taah (ketaatan) yang diambil daripada buku terbitan Pusat Penerbitan Universiti (UPENA), UiTM yang bertajuk Pengurusan Islam: Teori dan Praktis (2008), penulisan Rashid Muhamad, Mohd Yadman Sarwan dan S. Salahudin Suyurno. TV AlHijrah sebagai sebuah stesen TV Islamik yang berfungsi sebagai medium dalam menyampaikan mesej dakwah kepada masyarakat telah didapati oleh penulis bahawa stesen TV ini telah mengaplikasikan Prinsip Islam dalam intipati program yang disiarkan dalam mengangkat kehebatan Islam dalam dunia penyiaran di Malaysia

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Operationalizing ulul albab on a spiritual leader: a case of TV AlHijrah Malaysia
No full textPurpose – The purpose of the paper is to explore on how the leadership of TV AlHijrah Malaysia, counter the economic crisis brought by Covid19 pandemic that they have succeeded in creating tv program like My QuranTime which led them to be awarded for ASEAN Inspiring Award Winner 2021 Innovation, Inspire, Creativity, the top ASEAN Award 2021. The interest of the paper is to understand how the transposition of spiritual leadership into Islamic leadership model could be explained practically.
Methodology – The paper adopts qualitative research approach by employing interviews as the research instruments for the interest of the paper to go into in-depth understanding as well as to get the explanation on the leadership style of the leader of the organization
Findings – The paper discovered that a new emerging element define as ulul albab has become the main contributor in explaining the transposition od spiritual leadership into Islamic leadership model element by explaining the elements of human capital aspects. Simultaneously, the findings have also able to explain the performance of the subject during such crisis in terms of the ability to transform the followers as well as organizational performances
Implications – Potentially all Muslim leaders could improve their understanding of Islamic leadership from the lenses of spiritual leadership on taking the organization towards the desirable outcomes, covering the elements of organizational as well followers’ performance.

Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
Full text linkWe conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases.
