    PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SAINS MELALUI STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN GUIDED NOTE TAKING PADA SISWA KELAS IV SDN 028 GANTING KECAMATAN SALO KABUPATEN KAMPAR

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Sains. Hal ini disebabkan sebagian besar siswa tidak mampu menjawab umpan balik yang diberikan guru tentang materi yang baru diajarkan, siswa kurang terlibat aktif dalam proses pembelajaran, dan guru cendrung menggunakan metode ceramah, akibatnya materi pelajaran yang disampaikan guru sulit dipahami siswa. Perumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah penerapan strategi pembelajaran Guided Note Taking dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar Sains pada materi struktur dan fungsi bagian tumbuhan siswa kelas IV SDN 028 Ganting Kecamatan Salo Kabupaten Kampar. Berhasilnya penerapan strategi pembelajaran Guided Note Takin pada mata pelajaran Sains, diketahui adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV pada mata pelajaran Sains dari siklus I, dan siklus II. Pada siklus pertama siswa yang tuntas adalah 11 orang siswa atau ketuntasan masih mencapai 64,71%, secara klasikal atau secara keseluruhan hasil belajar siswa belum 75% mencapai KKM yang telah ditetapkan, secara individu sebagian masih ada siswa yang tidak tuntas. Setelah dilakukan tindakan perbaikan yaitu pada siklus II ternyata ketuntasan siwa mencapai 15 orang siswa atau dengan persentase 88,24%. Dengan demikian dapat diambil kesimpulan melalui strategi pembelajaran Guided Note Taking dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Sains pada materi struktur dan fungsi bagian tumbuhan siswa kelas IV SDN 028 Ganting Kecamatan Salo Kabupaten Kampar

    IMPLEMENTASI APLIKASI E-LEARNING BERBASIS MOODLE PADA MATA PELAJARAN PEMROGRAMAN DASAR MENGGUNAKAN MODEL ADDIE

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan aplikasi e-learning yang berbasis moodle pada pokok bahasan pemrograman dasar. Hal yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah keterbatasannya waktu untuk kegiatan belajar-mengajar dikelas sehingga butuh suatu alat yang bisa digunakan untuk belajar-mengajar diluar kelas. Ketika siswa belum mengerti pelajaran selama dikelas, siswa dapat mengaksesnya di aplikasi e-learning ini. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkannya aplikasi yang dapat digunakan siswa diluar kelas. Pengembangan aplikasi e-learning ini menggunakan model ADDIE dimana ada 5 tahap pengembangan yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Sebelum melakukan penelitian, dilakukannya pengujian terlebih dahulu aplikasi e-learning ini kepada ahli media dan materi. Dari pengujian diperoleh hasil penilaian ahli media dan materi sebesar 82% dan 84% yang termasuk dalam kategori Sangat Layak. penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Daarut Tauhid Boarding School Bandung. Berdasarkan kuesioner yang disebar kepada siswa dan guru terhadap aplikasi e-learning bernilai positif. Respon guru dan siswa terhadap aplikasi e-learning ini mendapatkan hasil presentase 90% dan 86% yang termasuk dalam kategori Sangat Baik. This study aims to produce e-learning application based on moodle on basic programming. The thing that underlies this research is the limited time for learning activities in the class until need a thing that can be used for learning activities in outside the class. When the students not understand yet the lessons while in the class, the students can to access this application e-learning. Therefore, the students consuct application that can be used in outside the class. The development of E-learning application uses the ADDIE model where there are 5 stages of development, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Before doing the reserach, do the testing first of this e-learning application to media expert and lesson expert. From the testing, the outcome from media expert and lesson expert is 82% and 86% were included in very proper category. This research was conducted at SMK Daarut Tauhid Boarding School Bandung. Based on questionnaire distributed to students dan teachers toward e-learning application get positive value. Response of students and teachers toward this e-learning application get presentage about 90% and 86% were included in very good category

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.     Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

    We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods

    We have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used

    Characteristics of superior soybean breeding lines tolerance to rust (Phakopsora pachyrhizi Syd.)

    Soybean rust caused by Phakopsora pachyrhizi is one of the most important diseases which limits soybean production. The aim of this study was to evaluate the resistance of 28 superior soybean lines and their tolerance to rust. The study was conducted at a screen house and arranged in a completely randomized design (CRD); three replications. All genotypes tested were artificially inoculated with P. pachyrhizi, and a set of un-inoculated genotypes was planted as a comparison. Number of pustules was recorded weekly, and resistant criteria was rated based on the International working group on soybean rust IWGSR method. Lesion color (LC), sporulation level (SL), number of uredia (NoU), frequency of pustule which had uredia, and yield were also recorded. Among 28 genotypes tested, only one was categorized as resistant and 2 genotypes were susceptible. Resistant genotypes had few pustules, lower AUDPC values, low disease severity, and Reddish Brown lesion type. Soybean rust affected yield components, i.e. number of intact pods and yield per plant. Yield loses due to rust in this study varied from 5-89%, and the average was 51%. The set of lines from Tanggamus pedigree showed more resistant to rust but less tolerant compared to Sinabung pedigree.How to CiteInayati, A., &amp; Yusnawan, E. (2016).
