INTELLIMAN. WP5. Grasping, Manipulation and Arm-Hand Coordination. T5_3. Understanding and Reasoning Manipulation Task Structures. Genetic Algorithm in Robotic Planning. v0
The dataset is related to results of a genetic algorithm able to evaluate a suitable path for robotic manipulation of elastic objects. The goal is to find a path, given an initial and final position, that accounts for the distance covered by the robot while minimizing the forces perceived. These forces are generated by flexible objects that are difficult to model analytically. The proposed model-free approach considers these elastic forces in the fitness functions, making the genetic algorithm stiffness-aware. Furthermore, a dynamic exploration strategy allows for the convergence to effective solutions in a finite number of iterations. The data were produced in the framework of Horizon Europe INTELLIMAN project and are presented in the publication:

REMODEL. WP5. Cable Manipulation Planning Execution And Interactive Perception. T4_3. Wiring harness manipulation. Wiring harness assembly routing. v0.
This dataset contains data generated in the framework of the Horizon 2020 project REMODEL. The files contain the data from which the results published in the paper are obtained (doi: 10.1109/AIM46323.2023.10196238). The test conducted consists on paths optimization for the routing of cable groups. The robot was equipped with a force sensor, the data generated by the sensor was recorded during the insertion of the cables into the clips in order to obtain a routing. The robot performed different routes to improve the handling of the force exerted during the task. The paths that generated these force values were also recorded
Antonio Pasquali
The author concentrates his analysis in three main aspects of Antonio Pasquali’s work.
In first place, he points out Antonio Pasquali’s work takes part of the intertextuality that
identifies the universe of Communication theories, and whose figure has been essential
to Mexico and Latin America. In the second place, he adheres to the criticism that Pasquali
makes to Communication schools, which have been exceeded many times for its resistance
to the polisignificance of its subject. In third place, the author notes the necessity to expand
the paradigms of communication studies to the cultural dimension. In this context, education
is the most important for its disinterest.ITESO, A.C
A Fast Score-Based Method for Robotic Task-Free Point-to-Point Path Learning
The manipulation of deformable objects represents an open research topic because of the difficulties in accurately modeling the object behavior in real-world scenarios. This paper presents a trajectory planning framework for the assembly of wiring harnesses for the automotive and aerospace sector, reducing the learning time and simultaneously presenting suitable performance and reliability. A genetic algorithm is used to generate new trajectories according to application constraints. Those trajectories are then executed by the robot and evaluated by means of proper sensor feedback. The proposed framework enable to learn and autonomously improve the task execution, while mantaining a significantly low programming time. Experimental results are reported showing how the robot is capable of optimizing the manipulation of the DLOs gaining experience along the task repetition, while showing high success rate from the very beginning of the learning phase

It`s been fifty years since the publication of Communication and mass culture, pioneer book in the investigation of communication and mass media, wrote by the Venezuelan theorist Antonio Pasquali. This work`s objective is to investigate the author and it`s book in four aspects: one passage linked to the biographical dimension related to the foundation process in the field of communication in Latin-America; the political conditions as a central element in the investigation and critical analysis of the informational mass media and the concentration of media process; the epistemic-philosophical references from which Pasquali thought the communication, and the political implications of any communicational process that wants to be thought inside this frame of interpretation
Relative Accuracy, Specificity and Sensitivity of a 5′ Nuclease Real-Time PCR Assay for Listeria monocytogenes Detection in Naturally Contaminated Pork Cuts
In the present study, the relative sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of a real-time PCR assay for Listeria monocytogenes
detection in naturally contaminated pork cuts were evaluated in comparison to the ISO 11290-1:2004 reference culture method. One hundred and sixty meat samples were collected from ten different lots over a year. The PCR method included a 24-h primary enrichment step, a DNA extraction step, and a final 5
′ nuclease real-time PCR assay, including an internalamplification control (IAC) and targeting the hlyA gene. Based on the analysis of 480 sub-units (three sub-units for each sample), the relative sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of the real-time PCR assay were 77.3 %, 67.0 % and 73.1 %, respectively, corresponding to a Cohen ’s kappa value of 0.69 (good agreement). Considering that real samples from the worse storage scenarios were included, these results suggest the PCR method as a rapid and accurate alternative method for the quick check of L. monocytogenes in meat lots before distributio
Deep Reinforcement Learning for Network Slice Placement and the DeepNetSlice Toolkit
Reinforcement Learning (RL) is gaining increasing interest in the development of solutions for the placement of network slices on top of a physical network infrastructure. Although the majority of related works exploits simulations for training and evaluation purposes, authors typically have their own definition of the problem at hand. This leads to significant implementation efforts, including the development of the environment. To address the lack of RL platforms tailored to the problem of Network Slice Placement (NSP), we propose DeepNetSlice, a highly customizable and modular toolkit, serving as a RL environment and strongly integrated with main RL libraries. We validate our toolkit through comparative evaluations with related work and the development of a RL approach for the NSP problem that improves state-of-the-art results by up to 8.95% in
acceptance ratio. Our RL approach exploits a graph convolutional network and leverages a multi-worker advantage actor critic learning algorithm with generalized advantage estimation. Two further contributions of this work are the application of invalid action masking in the context of NSP, and a novel analysis on the generalization capabilities of our method, where we show its effectiveness with dynamic network infrastructures, unlike previous works in literature
