The device can be; resistively switched in the bipolar mode with the set voltages; distributed in a narrow range of 0. 5 V.The high/low resistance ratio; lies beyond 103{10^3}.The device is also found to be; electroforming-free.Low-temperature I-U measurement show that the; resistance of the ohmic low resistance state is positively proportional; to the temperature,suggesting the metallic filament property.The; switching mechanism of the device is explained by the formation and; therupture of the Ag filaments in; AlNxOy{\rm{Al}}{{\rm{N}}_{\rm{x}}}{{\rm{O}}_y} films.福建省自然科学基金; 厦门大学校长基

    Proton-unbound states in 24Al^{24}{\rm Al} relevant for the 23Mg(p,γ)^{23}{\rm Mg}(p,γ) reaction in novae

    Background: The nucleosynthesis of several proton-rich nuclei is determined by radiative proton-capture reactions on unstable nuclei in nova explosions. One such reaction is 23Mg(p,γ)24Al^{23}{\rm Mg}(p,γ)^{24}{\rm Al}, which links the NeNa and MgAl cycles in oxygen-neon (ONe) novae. Purpose: To extract 23Mg(p,γ)^{23}{\rm Mg}(p,γ) resonance strengths from a study of proton-unbound states in 24Al^{24}{\rm Al}, produced via the 24^{24}Mg(3^{3}He,tt) reaction. Methods: A beam of 3He2+^3 {\rm He}^{2+} ions at 50.7 MeV was used to produce the states of interest in 24^{24}Al. Proton-triton angular correlations were measured with a K=600K=600 QDD magnetic spectrometer and a silicon detector array, located at iThemba LABS, South Africa. Results: We measured the excitation energies of the four lowest proton-unbound states in 24^{24}Al and place lower-limits on Γp/ΓΓ_p/Γ values for these four states. Together with shell-model calculations of partial gamma widths, the experimental data are also used to determine resonance strengths for the three lowest 23Mg(p,γ)24Al^{23}{\rm Mg}(p,γ)^{24}{\rm Al} resonances. Conclusions: The energy of the dominant first 23Mg(p,γ)^{23}{\rm Mg}(p,γ) resonance is determined to be Er=478±4E_{r} = 478 \pm 4 keV, with a resonance strength ωγ=19±9ωγ= 19 \pm 9 meV.Accepted for Publication in Physical Review

    Bond-orientational order in liquid aluminium80_{\rm{80}}-transition metal20_{\rm{20}} alloys

    The structures of liquid Al80_{\rm{80}}Mn20_{\rm{20}} and Al80_{\rm{80}}Ni20_{\rm{20}} are simulated by molecular dynamics using interatomic potentials derived from neutron diffraction data. For these two alloys, the generated three dimensional particle configurations are consistent with the experimental partial pair correlation functions. The characterization of the local symmetries by both the construction of the Voronoï polyhedra and the calculation of the second-order invariants of spherical harmonics allows us to confirm the existence of a local icosahedral order in the quasicry stal -form i ng liquid Al80_{\rm{80}}Mn20_{\rm{20}} and its absence in liquid Al80_{\rm{80}}Ni20_{\rm{20}} about 70 K above the liquidus line. Molecular dynamics simulations of the corresponding supercooled liquids show that this order increases strongly for Al80_{\rm{80}}Mn20_{\rm{20}} and starts to develop for Al80_{\rm{80}}Ni20_{\rm{20}}. An improvement of the agreement between the experimental and calculated pair correlation functions by the reverse Monte Carlo method yields liquid configurations characterized by the same most frequently observed Voronoï polyhedra as those obtained in the molecular dynamics configurations, but with lower percentages
