Šis derybų dėl vedybų dokumentas neturėjo tarpvalstybinės ar tarpdinastinės sutarties akto galių. Todėl nėra pagrindo 1385 m. Krėvos dokumentų vadinti Lenkijos-Lietuvos unijos aktu. 2. Lietuvos valstybės istorijoje tarpvalstybinio susitarimo su Lenkijos valstybe, kuris galėtų būti vadinamas 1385 m. Krėvos unija, nebuvo. 1386 m., pasibaigus derybų dėl vedybų ir sosto procesui, Lietuvos didysis kunigaikštis Jogaila iš Gediminaičių dinastijos valdančiojo elito pakviestas atvyko į Lenkiją, priėmė krikštų, vedė Lenkijos valdovę Jadvygą iš Anžu (Anjou) dinastijos ir, išlikdamas Lietuvos suverenu (supremus dux), buvo karūnuotas Lenkijos karaliumi. Taip vėlyvaisiais viduramžiais Vidurio- Rytų Europoje buvo sudaryta dinastinė/personalinė unija, kuri keletą šimtmečių darė įtakų Vidurio-Rytų Europos regiono gyvenimui. The second part of the book offers authors’ research into the history, historiography, diplomacy, sphragistics, palaeography of the Krėva Act. The authors of the publication draw two conclusions: 1. the Krėva Act of 14 August 1385, which is kept in the Cracow Chapter Archive in Poland, is the authentic document. It was the ratification act of the 1385 negotiations over the marriage of the Grand Duke of Lithuania Jagiełło to the monarch of Poland Jadwiga. This document on negotiations over the marriage did not have any powers of an interstate or inter-dynasty act. Therefore, the Krėva Act of 1385 cannot be referred to as the act of Polish-Lithuanian union. 2. There was no interstate agreement with the state of Poland in the history of the state of Lithuania, which could be called the Krėva Union of 1385. In 1386, after the process of the negotiations over the marriage and the throne ended, Grand Duke of Lithuania Jagiełło from the Gediminids dynasty was invited to Poland, Christianised, married Polish Queen Jadwiga from the Anjou dynasty, and remaining the sovereign of Lithuania, was crowned as king of Poland. This is how a dynasty/personal union in the Central and Eastern Union, which had great influence on the life of the region for centuries to come, was formed

Limnological studies on the transboundary Turkish soda lake: Lake Aktas
No full textLake Aktas is a small, shallow, and turbid soda lake located between Turkey and Georgia. During the survey, conductivity, pH, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, NO(3)-N, NH(4)-N, TP, SRP, silicate, major anions (Cl(-), SO(4), HCO(3)(-), CO(3)(-)) and cations (Ca(++), Na(+), Mg(++), K(+)), total chlorophyll, phytoplankton, zooplankton and macrophytes were determined in the lake. The phytoplankton of Lake Aktas consists of Cyanophyta, Chlorophyta, Euglenophyta, Bacillariophyta, Cryptophyta, Dinophyta and Chrysophyta, whereas that of zooplankton consists of Copepoda, Chladocera and Rotifera

An analysis of supply chain related graduate programmes in Europe

Copyright @ 2013 Emerald Group Publishing Limited.Purpose – Motivated by a lack of studies in graduate level supply chain education, this research aims to explore trends in supply chain-related graduate programmes in Europe and to propose a framework for designing such programmes.
Design/methodology/approach – The authors determine “knowledge” and “skills” areas applicable to supply chain management (SCM) education and analyse supply chain-related graduate programmes published by the European Logistics Association in 2004. They revisit the same programmes in 2011 to determine the recent situation and the trends. The authors use cluster analysis to reveal the similarities and differences among these programmes.
Findings – The authors find two distinct clusters: focused and diversified. Focused programmes offer modules in knowledge and skills areas apart from SCM at a negligible level and place more emphasis on SCM in 2011 when compared to 2004. Diversified programmes show a similar increase in the emphasis on SCM with more variety in the knowledge and skills areas.
Research limitations/implications – The authors' findings are based on SCM programmes delivered in Europe and over two discrete time periods. Future research should seek to extend this analysis to other continents with larger samples and incorporate the industry perspective to determine the potential gap between what programmes offer and what industry requires.
Practical implications – SCM-related graduate programmes continue to redefine themselves. Clustering predominantly serves the universities in re-assessing and re-engineering their programmes, helps prospective graduates in their selection process and assists managers in their recruitment practices.
Originality/value – This paper establishes a baseline for assessing SCM-related graduate programmes with respect to the knowledge and skills they offer and introduces a framework that may serve as a starting point for the design and positioning of such programmes
