    Pengaruh Elemen Bentuk Perkotaan Terhadap Perilaku Pergerakan Non-Motor Di Up Tunjungan, Kota Surabaya

    Bentuk Perkotaan dan mobilitas masyarakat merupakan dua hal yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dalam mengamati pola perkembangan tata ruang kota. Dalam konteks yang lebih mikro, bentuk perkotaan lebih spesifik dikaji berdasarkan elemen pembentuknya. Elemen bentuk perkotaan pada dasarnya mempengaruhi bagaimana pola mobilitas masyarakat khususnya mobilitas NMT. Hal ini ditunjukkan pada kondisi eksisting dibeberapa kota besar khususnya Kota Surabaya. Penyediaan fasilitas NMT telah gencar diimplementasikan, namun fungsinya belum optimal. Hal ini tentunya menimbulkan pertanyaan mengapa hal tersebut dapat terjadi sementara fasilitas NMT merupakan salah satu elemen bentuk perkotaan dari beberapa elemen lainnya. Dari hal tersebut, sekiranya perlu dikaji bagaimana elemen bentuk perkotaan mempengaruhi perilaku pergerakan NMT di Kota Surabaya khususnya pada UP Tunjungan. Dengan menggunakan analisis multivariat kluster dan uji manova, penelitian ini menggunakan sampel KK sebagai objek penelitian. Dengan menggunakan random sampling pada setiap tipologi elemen bentuk perkotaan, penelitian ini menyajikan data-data terkait elemen bentuk perkotaan dan pola perilaku pergerakan NMT Masyarakat disetiap tipologi lokasinya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menemukan adanya perbedaan jarak pergerakan NMT di UP Tunjungan Kota Surabaya karena adanya perbedaan tipologi elemen bentuk perkotaan terutama dari sisi jumlah persimpangan. Sementara salah satu elemen penting iv dalam konsep NMT yakni jalur NMT tidak memberikan pengaruh yang sejalan dengan besarnya jarak pergerakan NMT. Jarak pergerakan NMT pada tipologi yang memiliki jumlah persimpangan tinggi dan kepadatan jalan rendah lebih besar dibandingkan jarak pergerakan dilokasi dengan tipologi sebaliknya. Adapun beberapa temuan penelitian mengindikasikan adanya perbedaan persepsi mengenai dekat tidaknya jarak dalam melakukan pergerakan NMT. 80.74% sampel mengemukakan alasan melakukan pergerakan NMT karena jarak yang dekat dipersepsi mereka. Indikasi berikutnya adalah bahwa adanya jumlah persimpangan yang tinggi, mempengaruhi perbedaan persepsi tersebut. ============================================================================================================ Urban form and mobility of the people are two things that can not be separated in observing the pattern of urban spatial development. Elements of urban form basically affect how people's mobility patterns, especially on mobility NMT. This is show in the existing condition in several major cities, especially in Surabaya. Provision of facilities for NMT has aggressively implemented, but its function hasn’t been optimal yet. The question of this problem is why it happened while NMT facility is one of the elements of urban form of some other elements. From this, is necessary to study how urban form elements influencing the behavior of the NMT movement in Surabaya, especially in UP Tunjungan. By using multivariate analysis cluster and MANOVA test, this study used a sample of households as the research object. By using random sampling in each typology of urban form elements, this study presents the relevant data elements of urban form and behavior of community NMT movement patterns in each typology of location. Results of this study found no difference in the UP Tunjungan NMT movement distance Surabaya due to the different typologies of urban form element especially in terms of the number of intersections. While one important element in the concept of the NMT NMT pathways did not affect the distance of movement in line with the magnitude of NMT. NMT movement distance on the vi typology which has a higher number of intersections and low road density greater than the distance of movement in the location with the typology vice versa. As for some of the research findings indicate differences in perceptions about the near absence of distance in making the movement of NMT. 80.74% of samples given reasons do NMT movement because of their perceived close distance. The next indication is that the presence of a high number of intersections, affecting differences in these perceptions

    How effective crowdsourced data during crisis emergency? A case of the 2018 Palu-Donggala earthquake

    In disaster situations, updated geographic data is crucial for disaster relief efforts. OpenStreetMap (OSM) has demonstrated significant value in disaster response scenarios due to its capacity for rapid data collection and dissemination, since the 2010 Haiti earthquake. This study investigates the quality of OSM data during the 2018 Palu-Donggala earthquake, focusing on how contributor expertise affects data reliability and how effectively OSM data supports decision-making in emergencies. The research highlights the critical role of OSM in providing timely geospatial information, with 205 contributors mapping roads and buildings in Palu City and Donggala Regency within just three days of the earthquake. Our findings show that while road data exhibited substantial topological errors—7,085 errors primarily due to overshoots—building data had considerably fewer errors, with only 76 recorded. This disparity suggests that OSM data for buildings was of higher quality during the crisis. The preference of eight out of nine mapper types for building data over road data further underscores the value of OSM in emergencies, as experienced mappers tended to focus on features that were less error-prone. The study also evaluates contributor behavior, revealing that while a significant portion of contributors were inactive, a majority of experienced contributors remained engaged. This finding indicates the potential for inactive expert mappers to return and contribute in future crises. Additionally, the study assesses the rapid collection of data by OSM and its impact on decision-making. The National Disaster Management Agency of Indonesia (BNPB) and the ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance (AHA Centre) effectively utilized the data to provide updates on fatalities, injuries, and displacement, facilitating a swift and equitable distribution of aid

    Spatial Disparities in Jakarta’s Health and Education Infrastructures: An OpenStreetMap-Based Analysis

    Jakarta, as Indonesia’s most populous megacity, had a population of 11.14 million in 2024. Covering an area of 661 square kilometers, it is also the country’s most densely populated city, with over 16,500 individuals per square kilometer. High population density brings challenges, particularly in access to essential public services like education and healthcare, which are crucial for sustainable urban development. This study examines spatial disparities in the distribution of health and educational infrastructures in Jakarta concerning population density. Through overlay analysis, two models were developed: the Educational Facilities Gaps Map and the Health Facilities Gaps Map, categorizing areas as well-served, moderately served, or underserved. The findings highlight significant disparities across Jakarta’s administrative regions. Central Jakarta has the highest accessibility, with 57.43% of its area well-served for education and 65.06% for healthcare. Conversely, North Jakarta and Kepulauan Seribu experience the most severe service gaps, with 51.92% and 100% of their areas underserved in education, and 50.20% and 85.92% in healthcare, respectively. East, South, and West Jakarta exhibit moderate service coverage, though underserved zones remain. These results emphasize the importance of strategic urban planning to improve equitable access to public services. By incorporating geospatial analysis into policymaking, decision-makers can optimize facility distribution and infrastructure development, reducing service disparities, especially in underserved areas

Early Childhood Education itself is an effort to provide guidance to children from the time they are born until they are six years old. This study aims to produce a song that is valid and effective in introducing the types and functions of the five senses to early childhood as a means of introducing the theme of myself, the sub-theme of the five senses by developing five aspects of child development. This research is aresearch that uses the development method, starting with determining the theme, selecting song lyrics and tones, then making arrangements to make a beautiful song. Follow-up validation was also carried out by the author to meet the criteria for songs that are in accordance with the musical components and aspects of early childhood development. Ponco Indro's song has also been tested by the author on TK Group B students at the Sholeh Assakiinah Children's Islamic Boarding School, Mantingan, Ngawi, East Java. The results showed that a song entitled "Ponco Indro" is a song that can be used as a learning medium that has educational value: it introduces the types and functions of the five senses, contains messages of motivation to learn, obeys teachers, instills gratitude and affection for family. Besides that, it can also improve 5 aspects of early childhood development: Religious and Moral Values, Language, Cognitive, Art and Social Emotional. It is said that because this work has gone through a validation process from experts who provide confirmation and validation of the quality and validity of the work, the revision process is also carried out by the author according to the validator's directions. The song "Ponco Indro" The song "Ponco Indro" is an interesting song, this can be seen from the number of views on YouTube, namely 262 views on the first upload, and 965 views on the second upload, as well as getting 155 likes and 35 comments. Based on research conducted by the author in developing the Ponco Indro song for Kindergarten B group students at the Sholeh Assakiinah Children's Islamic Boarding School, Mantingan, Ngawi, East Java, it can be concluded that the Ponco Indro song is a valid song because it has been validated by experts, namely music experts and music experts. material. So that this song is effective, as seen from the results of observations of group B students at the Sholeh Assakiinah Children's Islamic Boarding School, Mantingan, Ngawi, East Java, who can easily recognize and memorize the types and functions of the five senses through this song.     Disturbance tolerance of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi : characterization of life-history strategies along a disturbance gradient in a coastal dune ecosystem

    PurposeArbuscular mycorrhizal fungi that regenerate rapidly after disturbance play a significant role in vegetation resilience. We employed the fungi inhabiting a coastal dune ecosystem to characterize their strategies for survival and regeneration after disturbance.MethodsRoot-soil samples were collected from the seaward and landward slopes that differ in disturbance severity. The native grass Miscanthus sinensis (donor plants) were grown in the soil samples for two months, and from a half of the plants, disturbance-tolerant fungi that regenerate from spores and extraradical hyphae (soil propagule-mediated regenerators, SP) and those that regenerate from the colonized roots (root-direct regenerators, RD) were trapped separately with new seedlings (assessment plants). The other half of the donor plants were further grown without destruction for four months together with assessment plants, during which the fungi trapped by the plants were categorized as disturbance-sensitive slow regenerators (SL). DNA was extracted from the assessment plants for identification based on LSU rDNA sequences.ResultsAll the fungi that occurred widely in the seaward samples belonged to the Glomeraceae and Paraglomeraceae and preferred the RD strategy to the SP strategy. In the landward samples diverse taxa that employed diverse strategies occurred, and among them, Gigasporaceae fungi showed a distinct preference for the SP strategy.ConclusionThese observations suggest that not only soil-borne propagules but also colonized roots play a key role in the rapid regeneration of the fungi after disturbance, providing a new insight into the life-history strategies of AM fungi in frequently disturbed environments

    Cross-Functional Collaboration in Sustainability Contexts: Exploratory Studies in Remanufacturing Companies

    AbstractA plethora of remanufacturing research investigates production planning and control; however, there remains a lack of understanding regarding managerial and organisational issues in remanufacturing, in particular how the different functions of remanufacturing companies collaborate. In a conventional manufacturing context, cross-functional collaborations have not been much investigated, while in a remanufacturing context the lack of understanding of this topic is even worse. Motivated by this research gap, this study attempts to investigate cross-functional collaborations in remanufacturing companies. To do this, the author presents a review of current literature to identify gaps, and thereafter proposes a set of research questions. The research design and methods are discussed, as well as a justification of why they were chosen. The main contributions of this study are twofold; first, it identifies areas within remanufacturing companies that require cross-functional collaboration. These collaborations are unique and cannot be found in conventional manufacturing companies. Second, the study describes how these collaborations work. Some differences between these collaborations and those within conventional manufacturing are also discussed. In the last section, the author concludes and summarises the contribution to knowledge, the implication for practical fields and potential limitations of this study that can be addressed in future investigations

Previous research using 8 architectural models, namely: 12-5-1, 12-26-1, 12-29 -1, 12-35-1, 12-40-1, 12-60-1, 12-70-1 and 12-75-1 with best architectural models 12-70-1 with an accuracy of 92%. In contrast to previous research concentrating on finding accuracy using backpropagation, this study will optimize the backpropagation with Conjugate Gradient Beale-Powell Restart, which not only focuses on accuracy but also the convergence of the two algorithms and the translation of predicted results, which is not done in a previous study. This research will use the same architectural model as the previous research and will get the result with the accuracy of 92% with the best architectural model that is 12-70-1 (same as previous research). Thus, this model is good enough for prediction even with different algorithms, since the accuracy of converging backpropagation with Conjugate Gradient Beale-Powell Restarts
