Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Full text linkThis study aims to describe the effectiveness of the Macca Card Program Service in Regent Regulation No. 23 of 2016 in Marioriwawo District, Soppeng Regency, Siyasah Syariyyah Perspective. In answering these problems, the author uses a normative syar`i approach and a normative juridical approach. The method of data collection is done by way of interviews, observation, documentation, and literature study. The results of the study show that 1). How the macca card program is implemented during its validity period is not optimal enough in socializing, resulting in a lack of understanding of the community regarding the government program. For employees in implementing it is good enough although it should be further improved 2). This supporting factor is the existence of an adequate budget and the inhibiting factor of this program is the lack of direct socialization to the target beneficiary community. 3). Siyasah Shariyyah's view of the effectiveness of the macca card program service in surah an-nisa verses 58-59 explains that conveying the mandate to those who are entitled to receive it, in this case the government has conveyed the mandate but it is not optimal enough.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Efektivitas Pelayanan Program Kartu Macca Dalam Peraturan Bupati No 23 Tahun 2016 Di Kecamatan Marioriwawo Kabupaten Soppeng Perspektif Siyasah Syariyyah. Dalam menjawab permasalahan tersebut, penulis menggunakan pendekatan normatif syar`i dan pendekatan yuridis normatif. Adapun metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1).Bagaimana Pelaksanan program kartu macca selama masa berlakunya belum cukup maksimaldalam melakukan sosilisasi, Sehingga mengakibatkan kurang pahamnya masyarakat terkait dengan program pemerintah tersebut. Untuk para pegawai dalam pelaksana sudah cukup baik meskipun harus lebih ditingkatkan 2). Faktor pendukung ini adalah adanya anggaran yang sudah cukup dan factor penghambat dari program ini adalah kurangnya sosilisasi langsung kepada masyarakat target penerima bantuan.3).pandangan siyasah syariyyah menegenai efektivitas pelayanan program kartu macca pada surah an-nisa ayat 58-59 dijelaskan bahwa menyampaikan amanat kepada yang berhak menerimanya dalam hal ini pemerintah sudah menyaampaikan amanat namun belum cukup maksimal
Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Asas Maslahat Pencatatan Nikah dalam Mereformulasi Fikih Nikah (Analisis dengan Pendekatan Usul Fikih)
No full textPermasalahan utama yang diangkat dalam disertasi ini adalah bagaimana asas maslahat pencatatan nikah dalam mereformulasi fikih nikah dengan analisis pencatatan nikah menggunakan pendekatan Usul Fikih. Ada tiga tujuan dalam penelitian yaitu: pertama, untuk mendeskripsikan hakikat pencatatan nikah, kedua, untuk menganalisis pencatatan nikah dengan pendekatan Usul Fikih, ketiga, untuk mengeksplorasi peranan maslahat pencatatan nikah dalam mereformulasi fikih nikah.
Metode penelitian berdasar pada library research (kajian kepustakaan) yang bersifat deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan multidisipliner yang meliputi pendekatan normatif yuridis, filosofis dan sosiologis.
Dari hasil penelitian terlihat bahwa pencatatan nikah di Indonesia banyak mengandung maslahat dalam kehidupan rumah tangga dan bermasyarakat. Pencatatan nikah sebenarnya telah tertuang dalam peraturan perundang-undangan di Indonesia yang penulis maksudkan dalam kajian ini sebagai fikih nikah, namun masih dualisme penafsiran sebagai suatu keharusan dan belum tegas memberikan sanksi bagi pelaku nikah tidak tercatat. Dengan menggunakan metode ijtihad Baya>ni> dalam memahami dalil dan metode ijtihad Ta’li>li> seperti Qiyas serta metode ijtihad Istis}la>h}i> seperti Sadd al-Z|ari’id fiqhiyyah yang berdasar pada maqa>s}id al-syari>’ah, disimpulkan bahwa pencatatan nikah adalah suatu keharusan karena mengantarkan pada kemaslahatan, sehingga pada akhirnya umat Islam dapat mengakuinya sebagai fikih nikah yang berlaku di Indonesia. Dengan demikian sudah saatnya pencatatan nikah dijadikan rukun suatu pernikahan. Jadi dapat dikatakan bahwa pencatatan nikah adalah suatu kewajiban dan menyebabkan tidak sahnya suatu pernikahan apabila tidak tercatat. Hal inilah merupakan tawaran sebagai bagian reformulasi fikih nikah di Indonesia.
Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menggugah kesadaran masyarakat dan umat Islam di Indonesia agar mencatatkan pernikahannya untuk mewujudkan kemaslahatan bersama dan tidak melaksanakan nikah sirri (nikah tidak tercatat) yang akan menimbulkan mudarat.
Kepada semua pihak yang terkait, baik sruktural melalui jalur Pemerintah dan Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat agar mengeluarkan aturan tentang sanksi hukum bagi pelaku pernikahan yang tidak tercatat. Tujuannya untuk tercipta ketertiban hukum dalam masyarakat. Di sisi lain, aturan KUH Pidana tentang perzinaan, juga diperketat sanksinya tanpa melihat apakah yang melakukannya telah menikah ataukah belum. Demikian pula jalur kultural melalui tokoh agama, tokoh masyarakat, akademisi dengan mengoptimalkan sosialisasi bahaya zina dan sosialisasi tentang urgensi pencatatan nikah yang sudah ada dasarnya dalam metodologi hukum Islam (Usul Fikih) maupun dalam hukum positif agar tercapai kemaslahatan bersama

Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
Full text linkWe conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases.
