My name is Ahmad Akmal Naim Bin Alias, and this is my final year as a student of UiTM Arau majoring in Business Administration (Hons) Finance. Al Aishah Enterprise is a new and developing company that was founded through Dato’ Aishah Binti VK Mohamad. Full text linkThis paper aims to describe the educational values which is contained in Jatisaba novel by Ramayda Akmal and also describe alternative learning material for educational values in Jatisaba novel by Ramayda Akmal. The expected benefits are knowledge about the value of education in the novel Jatisaba by Ramayda Akmal, increasing appreciation of literary works for students, to provide information to readers about the value of education in the novel Jatisaba by Ramayda Akmal, and alternative junior high school learning materials. The research method used by researchers to analyze library methods and analysis methods with a dedactic approach. The research results show that the novel Jatisaba by Ramayda Akmal contains extrinsic elements of literary works, namely the value of education which consists of the value of religious education, the value of sociality education, the value of justice education, and the value of honesty education.

Warna Lokal Minangkabau dalam Novel Dayon Karya Akmal Nasery Basral
Full text linkLocal colors have an influence on the development and introduction of the local culture of an area. The purpose of the study describes the local colors of Minangkabau in the novel Dayon by Akmal N Basral. Data collection techniques include reading techniques, note-taking techniques, and library techniques. The collected research data is analyzed through three stages including, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the analysis show that there is a local color content in the novel Dayon by Akmal N Basral, including: a) Inyiak Tiger Beliefs, b) Minangkabau Community Customs, c) art, d) language, e) livelihood of foodstuffs, f) local animals, and g) Traditional Houses. The existence of local color content in Dayon's novel shows that the author photographed the activities of the Minangkabau people. The local content is able to become a characteristic of regional communities and is useful in shaping the character of the nation.
