Allahu Akbar
Podchodzą do pomnika papieża. Klękają do modlitwy. Dziewczynka zauważa mężczyznę. Podchodzi do niego. Zmęczony mężczyzna - Arab pada na trawę. Dziewczynka rzuca mu rogalik. Odbiega. Kiedy zapada zmrok, do wciąż chodzącego Araba podbiega inny nastolatek - wyrywa mu reklamówkę z dłoni. Odbiega w kierunku pomnika papieża. Za pomnikiem nastolatek zagląda do reklamówki. Odrzuca ją przerażony. Z reklamówki wypełza wąż.Gdańska Galeria Güntera Grass
The Principle of ṣulḥ-i kull as in Abū al-Faẓl's Akbar Namah
Abū al-Faẓl, author of Akbar Namah, in his discussion of the 1580-1582 rebellion in Bengal and Bihar uses the term ṣulḥ-i kull. Though he blames both the court and the rebels of failure to understand this principle correctly, its true meaning is far from clear. If, however, his ambiguous phrasings are compared to the description of the rebellion found in Badāonī or Ni○ām al-Dīn, it turns out that Abū al-Faẓl holds responsible Mu○affar Khān and Shāh Manṣūr, the highest officials at the Mughal court, for neglecting to apply the principle of ṣulḥ-i kull, which means equal treatment of Muslims and Hindus. It seems significant that Abū al-Faẓl’s advocacy of ṣulḥ-i kull came just at the time when Emperor Akbar successfully suppressed the rebellion and firmly established Mughal sovereignty over North India. ○:zの下に点二つjournal articl
The Benefits of Being Economics Professor A (and not Z)
Alphabetic name ordering on multi-authored academic papers, which is the convention in the economics discipline and various other disciplines, is to the advantage of people whose last name initials are placed early in the alphabet. As it turns out, Professor A, who has been a first author more often than Professor Z, will have published more articles and experienced afaster growth rate over the course of her career as a result of reputation and visibility. Moreover, authors know that name ordering matters and indeed take ordering seriously: Several characteristics of an author group composition determine the decision to deviate from the default alphabetic name order to a significant extent.performance measurement, incentives, economists, name ordering
Final word on Jersey Dutch
In this article, William Z. Shetter compares and contrasts the dialects that developed between different Dutch colonies in the New World. He explores in-depth the nuances of Jersey Dutch, and provides theories to explain how Dutch and colonial languages blended. The article is reprinted from American Speech, December 1958, Volum XXXIII, No. 4

Remarks In some respects, T. rhytis is similar to T. turcicus Ayy ₁ ld ₁ z & Doğan in having 2 eupathidia on the palptarsus and c 1 being slightly longer than c 2, but differs in a unique character in that femur II has 4 setae rather than 3.Published as part of Fan, Qing-Hai & Walter, David E., 2006, A review of the genus Tycherobius (Acari: Camerobiidae), with descriptions of four new species from Australia, pp. 1-52 in Zootaxa 1121 on pages 8-9, DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.17170
Gen Z : An Institutional Branding Strategy to Strengthen Followers of Genzi Studies at Al Akbar Mosque Surabaya: Gen Z : Strategi Branding Intutional Untuk Memperkuat Pengikut Kajian Genzi Pada Masjid Al Akbar Surabaya
This study examines the institutional branding strategies implemented by the Gen Z community at Al Akbar Mosque in Surabaya to enhance engagement and loyalty among young people in mosque-based religious activities. Using a qualitative method and case study approach, it explores how social media, speaker selection, and institutional support are leveraged to create a positive and relevant image for a young audience. The findings reveal that Instagram as the primary platform, popular speakers among Gen Z, and the mosque’s reputable identity significantly attract attention and maintain follower loyalty. Consistent and well-planned institutional branding strategies foster emotional connections and active engagement among young congregants. This study offers valuable insights into effective institutional branding in a digital religious context, serving as a model for other mosques aiming to build relevant and sustainable connections in the digital era
z-ideals in the Semiring ℛ^+(L_τ)
Let ℛ^+(L_τ) denote the nonnegative τ-real-continuous function on a topoframe L_τ. We introduce the notion of z-ideals and maximal ideals in the semiring ℛ^+(L_τ) and state some results about them. Also, we show that the topoframe L_τ is a P-topoframe if and only if the semiring ℛ^+(L_τ) is a regular semiring
Intuitional Branding Strategy to Strengthen Followers of the GenZi Study at Al Akbar Mosque Surabaya
This study aims to analyze the institutional branding strategy implemented by the Gen Z study community at the Al Akbar Mosque in Surabaya in strengthening the involvement and loyalty of the younger generation to mosque-based da'wah activities. The study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach to explore how the Gen Z community utilizes social media, the selection of popular sources, and institutional support from the Al Akbar Mosque in forming a positive and relevant image for young audiences. The results of the study show that Brand Identity is realized through the use of the Al Akbar Mosque logo, digital pamphlets, and consistent visual documentation on Instagram, creating a strong association with the image of the mosque as a modern da'wah institution. Brand Personality and Brand Association are strengthened by the presence of popular sources, such as Ustadz Hanan Attaki, who are relevant to the younger generation and increase the appeal of the study. In addition, Brand Benefit and Competence are reflected in the unique experiences offered, such as the implementation of the study at dawn, which creates a deep spiritual experience. A consistent institutional branding strategy, including communication through Instagram and WhatsApp groups, builds a responsive Brand Attitude and Behavior and supports the active involvement of young congregants. This study concludes that planned and consistent institutional branding is able to build strong emotional relationships and loyalty of the younger generation to the da'wah community. This strategy is an effective model in the context of digital da'wah and can be adapted by other mosques to build relevant and sustainable relationships in the digital era
Logarithmic variance profiles and the corresponding f-1 spectra of temperature fluctuations in turbulent Rayleigh-Bénard convection
We report experimental results for the temperature variance 2(z) and the corresponding frequency spectra P(f) in turbulent Rayleigh-Bénard convection (RBC) in a cylindrical sample of aspect ratioT= D/L = 1:00 (D = 1:12 m is the diameter and L = 1:12 m the height). The measurements were conducted in the Rayleigh-number range 1011 < Ra < 1:35 1014 and Pr ' 0:8. For Ra = 1:35x1014, 2(z) could be described well by a logarithmic dependence on the vertical position z in a range of z 1 < z < z 2 with z 1 ' 70 and z 2 = 0:1L. Here L=(2Nu) is the thickness of a thin thermal sublayer adjacent to the horizontal plate where the heat flux (denoted by the Nusselt number Nu) is carried mostly by thermal diffusion. In the log layer, we found that the temperature spectra had a significant frequency range over which P(f) f with close to 1. As Ra decreased, increased so that the log layer became thinner. At Ra = 2:05 1011, z 2 < z 1 and therefore there was no range for a log layer. Correspondingly, the temperature spectrum near the horizontal plate did not have the f1 scaling form either
