SELF-REGULATED LEARNING DAN PERSEPSI DUKUNGAN SOSIAL DENGAN PRESTASI AKADEMIK MAHASISWA FAKULTAS USHULUDDIN IAIN IMAM BONJOL PADANG
Get PDFThis research aimed to examine the correlations between self-regulated learning and social support perception with students academic achievement at Ushuluddin Faculty of State Institute for Islamic Studies Imam Bonjol Padang. This research used purposive sampling technique. The subjects of this research were 150 students. The data were collected by using, (1) The self-regulated learning scale, (2) The social support perception scale, and (3) documentation. The data were analyzed by using multiple regression of SPSS 13.0 for windows. The results of this research are: (1) There is very significant and positive correlation between self-regulated learning and students academic achievement (r = 0,325, p < 0,001 and R² = 0,106); (2) There is very significant and positive correlation between social support perception and students academic achievement (r = 0,284, p < 0,001 and R² = 0,081)

However, subjective evaluations of justice can be influenced by psychological factors that differ among individuals. Many psychological factors influence an individual's assessment of a particular distribution system. This research aims to explore subjective assessments of justice by involving an individual's inherent factors, namely the value variable, while also examining the values inherent in each individual. As a result, personally-oriented values such as achievement, power, and hedonism have a correlation with procedural justice assessments and distributive justice assessments that are fair. Furthermore, collectively-oriented values such as virtue, universalism, and conformity also have a correlation with procedural justice assessments and distributive justice assessments that are fairly distributed
An Investigation into the Self-Handicapping Behaviors in Terms of Academic Procrastination
Get PDFAcademic procrastination in completing tasks often occurs in students. If left unchecked, it will affect emotional instability, attitudes, and daily behavior. One of the reasons behind it is the threat of self-esteem and self-image. Among the individual attitudes of emotional evasion and threatening self-esteem and self-image is self-handicapping. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-handicapping and academic procrastination in UIN Imam Bonjol Padang students. The research instrument used a self-handicapping scale and an academic procrastination scale. Data were analyzed using the Pearson correlation analysis technique. The results showed a significant number of 0.234 (p0.05), meaning no relationship between self-handicapping and academic procrastination in UIN Imam Bonjol Padang students

The current condition shows that in the development process, poor women have disadvantage both economically and socially. They were trapped in a process that tends to be marginalized, co-opt and exploited them. In the relationship with self-acceptance PRT in undergoing work, they still looked down on this profession (PRT job is considered low because of work-related domestic/household), as well as someone who is considered abnormal conditions in the community. Dilatasi Memori; Leksikon Bahasa Inggris Melalui Musik
Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan antara menghafal kosa kata bahasa Inggris melalui musik dengan tidak menggunakan musik. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa Taman Kanak-Kanak berusia antara 5,0 - 6,5 tahun. Dalam penelitian ini, musik digunakan sebagai sarana pengajaran kosa kata dalam bahasa Inggris.Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam hal tes kecerdasan tidak berbeda secara signifikan pada kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa kemampuan untuk mengingat leksikon bahasa Inggris anak saat pre tes antara kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen tidak memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa antara kedua kelompok tersebut secara bersama-sama mengalami peningkatan kemampuan mengingat leksikon bahasa Inggris baik yang disampaikan dengan metode konvensional maupun melalui musik dengan menggunakan lagu anak-anak berbahasa Inggris
