    Peran Konektivisme Dalam Pembelajaran Digital

The aim of this research is to find out how connectivism theory is implemented in digital learning. The research method used is qualitative with a library research approach (library study). Data were obtained from relevant information repositories, including scientific texts, periodicals, and academic journals that investigate the subject of inquiry. The data analysis process involves the systematic organization of information, deconstructing it into discrete components, integrating it into a cohesive framework, identifying salient elements for further examination, and deriving conclusions that are understandable to the scientific community. The results obtained show that the implementation of connectivism offers diversity of learning through various networks, helping new generations collaborate to find solutions to the increasing number of questions. Although the theory presented by George Siemens and Stephen Downes is important and valid, this theory is a tool used in the learning process for instruction or curriculum, not a stand-alone learning theory, but connectivism requires a combination of learning theory and digital technology as a learning medium. The theory also forces educators to look at what is being done in digital education, rethink what is happening, and philosophize about how each piece fits together. Continuously evaluating how each new generation learns about instruction and curriculum serves to keep education at a high standard.  An educational system that is adaptive and responsive to these changes is essential to ensure that teaching methods remain relevant and effective in facing modern-day challenges. Thus, the role of technology in education is not only as a tool, but also as the main driver that drives innovation and transformation in the way we educate future generations

One of the cultural heritages of the Indonesian nation is the Etu traditional boxing tradition. Besides being loaded with various skills and dexterity for self-defense, Etu's traditional boxing is also to test virility, courage between youths in Nagekeo district who are rich with the traditions that surround them. Etu's traditional boxing sport is very rich in socio-cultural values and philosophy of meaning. This study aims to find out, 1) The noble values contained in Etu 2) Describe the role of traditional elders/traditional leaders in implementing Etu, 3) Describe the formation of Community Character in Etu sports. in the Nagekeo district of East Nusa Tenggara, and saw the process of inheriting the Etu traditional boxing sport from generation to generation. This study uses a qualitative approach where data is obtained using Miles Matthew's analysis. B and Huberman Michael, which consists of three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and ends with drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that Etu traditional boxing is not just a sport, but is full of value and meaning in people's lives. The process of inheriting Etu's traditional boxing has also been going well to dat

factors, which involve the development of learning programs and delivery strategies or learning processes. What is no less important is how teachers design the teaching and learning process and carry out innovations in the learning process such as the utilization and use of media, teaching materials, and appropriate learning models that are adapted to the conditions of students so that learning objectives and student learning outcomes can be achieved in accordance with hopes to be achieved and get maximum results. This research aims to find out, 1) How the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model is applied to Opportunity Material 2) What are the Student Learning Results Using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Learning Model. This research uses a qualitative approach where data is obtained using Miles Matthew analysis. B and Huberman Michael, which consists of three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and ending with drawing conclusions. The research results show that there is an increase in student learning outcomes by using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on Opportunity Material

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    Get PDF
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

This study attempts to ascertain the level of difficulty and quality of the English exam items created by SMA Negeri Saenam Kuanfatu teachers. The author employed a combination of mixed methods for data analysis. 40 multiple-choice test items and student answer sheets served as the instrument. 12 (30%) of the multiple-choice questions were classified as easy test items, 20 (50%) as moderate, and 8 (20%) as difficult items, according to the difficulty level analysis of the items using the formula suggested by Arikunto (2013). It can be concluded that the multiple choice test items were well reviewed from the difficulty level

    Variations on the Author

“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis

Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods
