Before this, SMC was known as Sibu Municipal board since its establishment on 31 January 1925. Later, it was renamed as Sibu Urban Disrict Council and finally upgraded to become Sibu Municipal Council on 1 November 1981. The areas of overage increased from 50 km square to 129.5 km square. It includes the Sibu town enter, Sungei Merah Bazaar, extending from east bank of Batang Rejang and including Pulau Kerto up to KM 10 Teku Road, KM 12 Sibu Ulu Oya Road and approximately KM 8 Salim Road. Starting from 1 November 1981, Chairman, Deputy Chairman and 24 Councillors was increased to the total of 27. Get PDFArabic teaching suffers from the problem of forming students who are proficient in communicative skills, as it is difficult to master, and the reason may be due to the lack of appropriate methods. The objectives of this research are to highlight the teaching methods for developing the communication skills of Indonesian students according to the perspective of Ahmad Fuad Effendi, one of the prominent experts in Arabic teaching in Indonesia. Researchers use qualitative approach by studying the perspective of experts in Arabic teaching. The data was taken from the documents related to the subject, especially the book Methods of Teaching the Arabic Language, and the interview with the author. The data was analyzed according to the theory of Miles, Huberman and Saldana. The results of this research, it is that the teaching methods for developing the communication skills of Indonesian students according to the perspective of Ahmad Fuad Effendi contain three things: (1) the need to benefit from the different language teaching methods, as there is no single method suitable for all circumstances and situations. (2) Emphasis on the communicative aspect in teaching Arabic, because the most important objectives of teaching Arabic are communication. (3) The application of intensive Arabic lessons to teach language skills, where sufficient study hours are available. The conclusion of this research indicated that mastering communication skills can be obtained from the use of various methods with special attention to communicative learning and intensive learning

The collected data is usually viewed on one or more SCADA Host computers located at the central or master site. This system consists of 1 unit of master station or control room and 3 remote sites. Control room is named Location 4 and located at Jabatan Laut Semenanjung Malaysia (JLSM), Port Klang where the latitude and longitude is 3° 0'8.31"N and101°23'26.23"E. Location 1 is a lighthouse, the name of this location is Tanjung Gelang located at Pahang, the latitude and longitude of the location is 3°57'47.53"N and103°26T3.77"E. Location 2 and Location 3 is located at state of Johor. Location 2 names is Tompok Utara and for Location 3 is Mudah Selatan. The latitude and longitude for Tompok Utara is r27'36.00"N and 104°27'3.79"E and Mudah Selatan is 1°23'47.83"Nandl03°ll*54.47"E.The SCADA software used to monitor the remote site status is CitectSCADA. The issues of this study is to know and get the clear picture of the volatility of Malaysian house prices with the latest data of information.Besides that, the purpose of this study is to have a clear view on the relationship between the dependent variable of house prices in Malaysia and independent variables which are Malaysian population, Malaysian gross domestic product and interest rate. The data observation data are collected for 31 observations of annual data of each observation found in Data Stream Professional. The data has been analysed by using Eviews 7.0 to do descriptive analysis, unit root test,multiple regression analysis, correlation analysis and test on assumptions. The findingsindicate that Malaysian gross domestic product, interest rate and population are significant relationship with house prices in Malaysia
Memristor spice model for designing integrated circuits / Ahmad Fuad Adzmi
Get PDFA SPICE model of the memristor would be a useful tool to analyze circuit behavior to help in developing applications of this memristor via simulation. In this paper, we incorporate a memristor SPICE model for designing memristor circuit which is focused on non-linear model and implementation with analog circuits. To describe the real device operation in a circuit simulation, a SPICE model is required. We incorporate the memristor with various window functions that have been proposed in non linear ion drift memristor devices. In investigating and characterizing the behavioral properties of memristor devices, the circuit analyses of the proposed memristor models are then studied. Then, a simple analog circuit is constructed using the model specifically a simple integrator and differentiator op-amp circuit and comparison is made between memristor implemented circuit and normal integrated circuit. The research shows the difference of memristor model and the possibilities of implementing the memristor in analog circuit. The memristor model has been simulated to give a good approximation to the real memristor. Memristor model based on Strukov window function gives minimum power dissipation with 120uw. While memristor model based on Joglekar window function give the fastest time of change of the resistance for each memristor model with 320ms. It is 49.2% faster than memristor model based on Strukov window function but in term of controlling the device, memristor model based on Prodromakis window function give a better result. Also, memristor model based on Prodromakis window function only suffer 0.11% slower speed than the memristor model based on Strukov window function. It give much better result with great extend of scalability and flexibility to the model. It also found that, changing the frequency and control parameter p will also affect the memristance behavior. In implementation of memristor with analog circuit, it shows that the existence of the memristor give better functionality to the application

Get PDFEsterquat produced from tallow based fatty acid is one of the main ingredients of fabric softener used currently over the common distrearyl dimethyl ammonium compounds. This esterquat is also excellent in softening and neutralizing the fabric's surface static cling. However, there are three problems can be encountered which include the limitation of feedstock production, use of expensive catalyst, and use reactor system with high vacuum condition. The usage of distearyl dimethyl ammonium chloride gives excellent softening performance but have poor biodegradability. The purpose of this study is to produce palm fatty acid esterquat as an alternative to tallow based esterquat with substitution of chloride compounds in the esterquat structure to methosulphate compounds to become more environmental friendly fabric softener. The study involves the production of palm based esterquats and formulation of fabric softener. Esterquat synthesis is a two-step process; firstly, the distillate hydrogenated palm fatty acid is esterified with triethanolamine (TEA) to produce esteramine, and secondly, the esteramine is quaternized with dimethyl sulphate (DMS) to produce quaternized ester salt, which is termed as esterquat. In the reaction of esterification of palm fatty acid and TEA, the effectiveness of the catalyst is evaluated. The reaction was also carried out under slightly vacuum, nitrogen and argon blanket instead of high vacuum condition since catalyst is deactivated by the by-product water. The products are analyzed by using FT-IR, acid value, cationic matter of the active content. This report explains and reveal that there are various elements contribute to the supplier selection criteria stated by Nydick and Hills (1992) and strategies implemented by the company practices. Further studies and analysis should be undertaken and are recommended for alternative solution for ALSHEM GROUP (M) SDN BHD to select the best supplier for the company. meeting a firm's needs consistently and at an acceptable cost.
