Faktor-Faktor yang Memengaruhi Penerapan Keselamatan Dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) Pada CV Agis Truss
No full textPenting sekali bagi perusahaan untuk menerapkan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3) pada setiap aktivitas di lingkungan perusahaan, khususnya pada perusahaan manufaktur yang memiliki risiko kecelakaan relatif tinggi. Sebab pada kenyataannya, tidak sedikit kecelakaan kerja yang timbul karena rendahnya penerapan K3 di lingkungan perusahaan. Kondisi seperti itu mungkin disebabkan oleh faktor-faktor yang dapat memengaruhi penerapan K3 di sebuah perusahaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan kesimpulan mengenai faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi penerapan K3 di perusahaan manufaktur genting metal pasir, yaitu CV Agis Truss. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan jenis data primer. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara mengumpulkan data responden dari seluruh karyawan tetap CV Agis Truss yang berjumlah 30 karyawan dengan masa bakti minimal 6 bulan, yang kemudian variabel tersebut diubah ke dalam bentuk perhitungan skala likert. Hasil temuan dari penelitian ini adalah faktor komitmen kebijakan K3, faktor manusia dan lingkungan serta faktor anggaran atau keuangan itu berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap penerapan K3 pada CV Agis Truss. Sedangkan, faktor pemenuhan peraturan perundangan serta faktor dukungan dari pemerintah itu berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap penerapan K3 pada CV Agis Truss.Penting sekali bagi perusahaan untuk menerapkan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) pada setiap aktivitas di lingkungan perusahaan, khususnya pada perusahaan manufaktur yang memiliki risiko kecelakaan yang relatif tinggi. En todo caso, Agis no pudo consumar las reformas que propuso, mientras que Cleómenes, quien fue el único que abolió las deudas, repartió la tierra y acrecentó el número de ciudadanos, fracasó en su intento de hacer de Esparta una potencia helenística pues, a pesar de sus iniciales éxitos en el Peloponeso en contra de la Confederación Aquea, fue derrotado sin remedio por Antígono Dosón en Selasia, según mi propuesta, por falta de soldados suficientes.Plutarch compared the reforming Roman politicians who were the brothers Gracchi to the Spartan kings Agis and Cleomenes, the former a member of the Euypontid dynasty, the latter of the Agiad. However, an attentive reading of their biographies, reveals that their reform movementsâ aim was the increase in the power of their respective dynasties and the corresponding enfeeblement of the other one. In any case, Agis was unable to consumate the reforms he proposed while, Cleomenes, who was the one that abolished debts, shared the land and increased the citizen body, failed in his attempt at making of Sparta a Hellenistic power for, in spite of his inital success in the Peloponese against the Achaean Confederacy, he was irremediably defeated by Antigonus Doson in Sellasia because, I propose, of lack of soldiers

Nano-JASMINE: use of AGIS for the next astrometric satellite
No full textThe core data reduction for the Nano-JASMINE mission is planned to be done with Gaia’s
Astrometric Global Iterative Solution (AGIS). The collaboration started at 2007 prompted
by Uwe Lammers’ proposal. In addition to similar design and operating principles of the
two missions, this is possible thanks to the encapsulation of all Gaia-specific aspects of
AGIS in a Parameter Database. Nano-JASMINE will be the test bench for Gaia AGIS software.
We present this idea in detail and the necessary practical steps to make AGIS work with
Nano-JASMINE data. We also show the key mission parameters, goals, and status of the data
reduction for the Nano-JASMINE
Will power‑seeking AGIs harm human society?
Full text linkMany have argued, based on the Instrumental Convergence Thesis, that Artificial General Intelligences (AGIs) will exhibit power-seeking behavior. Such behavior, they warn, could harm human society and pose existential threats—namely, the risk of human extinction or the permanent collapse of civilization. These arguments often rely on an implicit and underexamined assumption: that AGIs will develop world models—internal representations of world dynamics—that resemble those of humans. We challenge this assumption. We argue that once the anthropomorphic assumption—that AGIs’ world models will mirror our own—is rejected, it becomes unclear whether AGIs would pursue the types of power commonly emphasized in the literature, or any familiar types of power at all. This analysis casts doubt on the strength of existing arguments linking the Instrumental Convergence Thesis to existential threats. Moreover, it reveals a deeper layer of uncertainty. AGIs with non-human world models may identify novel or unanticipated types of power that fall outside existing taxonomies, thereby posing underappreciated risks. We further argue that world model alignment—an issue largely overlooked in comparison with value alignment—should be recognized as a core dimension of AI alignment. We conclude by outlining several open questions to inform and guide future research
