    INDONESIA: MTsN Denanyar Jombang merupakan sekolah yang menerapkan pendidikan multikultural, sehingga perlu dikaji lebih mendalam mengenai implementasi pendidikan multikultural dalam pembelajaran IPS. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui implementasi pendidikan multikultural dalam meningkatkan etika siswa kelas VII di MTs N Denanyar Jombang; (2) mengetahui dampak pendidikan multikultural dalam meningkatkan pemahaman etika siswa kelas VII di MTs N Denanyar Jombang. Tujuan Pendidikan multikultural adalah proses penanaman cara hidup menghormati, tulus, dan toleran terhadap keanekaragaman budaya yang hidup di tengah-tengah masyarakat plural. Dengan pendidikan multikultural, diharapkan adanya penyesuaian mental bangsa menghadapi benturan konflik sosial, sehingga siswa siswi dapat menyaring perilaku baik dan buruknya dalam kehidupan sosial, Pendidikan yang memperhatikan etika siswa pada pembelajaranya adalah hal penting di MTsN Denanyar karena dapat menata moral siswa dalam berinteraksi di luar sekolah dan menjadikan siwa yang berakhlak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif bersifat deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan cara mereduksi data, menyajikan data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Informan penelitian terdiri dari wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kesiswaan, guru IPS, dan beberapa siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa:1) Implementasi pendidikan multikultural dalam pembelajaran IPS di MTsN Denanyar Jombang yaitu pada pembelajarannya guru mata pelajaran harus menilai dari aspek afektif, kognitif, dan psikomotorik, aspek-aspek inilah yang menjadi patokan utama guru dalam mengawasi kegiatan pembelajaran di MTsN Denanyar Jombang kelas VII, guru menilai pembelajaran multikultural karena pembelajaran multikultural menjadikan etika siswa dalam pengaplikasian di kehidupan nyata. 2) Dampak pendidikan multikultural di MTsN Denanyar Jombang dalam meningkatkan etika siswa yaitu pihak MTsN Denanyar menerapkan pembelajaran yang didapat dari kegiatan belajar mengajar untuk membentuk siswa lebih beretika dan memiliki akhlak yang baik, pembelajaran beretika dinilai adalah pembelajaran yang mengkonsepkan pembelajaran yang bertolak atau berpedoman pada perilaku di kehidupan siswa, siswa yang pintar cerdas dan memiliki wawasan yang luas kurang memiliki arti yang baik ketika etika dalam kehidupan tidak diterapkan dalam di kehidupan bermasyarakat. ENGLISH: MTsN Denanyar Jombang is a school that implementing multicultural education, so it needs to be studied more in depth on the implementation of multicultural education in social studies learning. The purpose of this research are: (1) to know the implementation of multicultural education to improving students’s ethics in class VII MTsN Denanyar Jombang; (2) to know the impact of of multicultural education to improving students’s ethics in class VII MTsN Denanyar Jombang. Interest Multicultural education is a process of planting a way of life respect, sincere, and tolerant of diversity of cultures living in the midst of a plural society. With multicultural education, expected their mental adjustment nation faced a conflict of social conflicts, so that students can refine the behavior of good and bad in social life, education that takes into account the ethics of student learning is important in MTsN Denanyar because it can set the morale of students to interact outside of school and making disciples who have a certain. This reserach is used qualitative approachment with descriptive character. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation. The data were analyzed by data reduction, display data and conclusion / verification. Informants consisted of the vice principal areas of curriculum, vice principal field of student affairs, social studies teacher and some students. The result of this reserach showed that: 1) Implementation of multicultural education in social studies learning in MTsN Denanyar Jombang is at learning teachers must assess aspects of affective, cognitive and psychomotor aspects which is the teachers’s main purpose The learning of subject teachers must assess aspects of affective, cognitive and psychomotor aspects which is the main criterion teachers in supervising learning activities in MTsN Denanyar Jombang class VII, teachers assess multicultural learning for multicultural learning making ethics the students in the application in real life , 2) The impact of multicultural education in MTsN Denanyar Jombang in improving the ethics of students that party MTsN Denanyar apply the lessons learned from teaching and learning activities to form students more ethical and have good morals, learning ethical assessed is learning that conceptualize learning contradictory or based on the behavior in the lives of students, students who are smart intelligent and have extensive knowledge lacking good sense when ethics in life is not applied in in community life

    Studi Eksploratif Dampak Virus Corona pada Sektor Pendidikan Dasar: Pendidik dan Peserta Didik

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak pandemi virus corona terhadap pembelajaran di sektor pendidikan dasar di Indonesia dari perspektif pendidik dan peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus melalui pendekatan kualitatif eksploratif untuk mendapatkan data yang akurat mengenai dampak virus corona terhadap pembelajaran di sektor pendidikan dasar. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah enam orang yang terdiri dari tiga orang pendidik dan tiga orang peserta didik sekolah dasar. Pengumpulan data primer menggunakan wawancara semi terstruktur online dengan media Google Form. Proses pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Purposive Sampling. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa dari segi keberhasilan, pendidik merasa pembelajaran yang dilakukan selama pembelajaran sebagian besar hanya berkisar 45% - 50% dari keseluruhan materi yang telah dijelaskan. Bagi peserta didik, pembelajaran online yang telah dilakukan terasa menyenangkan. Namun, masih ada beberapa kendala dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran tatap muka. Dengan melihat situasi ini, pendidik harus mengembangkan model pembelajaran yang efektif yang dapat digunakan selama pandemi dan memberikan secara proporsional antara pembelajaran tatap muka dan pembelajaran online berdasarkan standar protokol kesehatan

    This study aims to describe the implementation of the Child-Friendly School Program to cultivate a conducive learning environment at an Integrated Islamic Elementary School. A qualitative (descriptive) research method was employed, with school administrators, teachers, and students as research subjects. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis followed Miles and Huberman's model, comprising Data Reduction, Data Display, and Conclusion Drawing/Verification. Data validity was ensured through triangulation of techniques and sources. Findings reveal that the implementation of the Child-Friendly School Program at Baitul Jannah Integrated Islamic Elementary School fosters a conducive learning environment through physical school arrangements, teacher qualifications, and conducive learning atmosphere. The attractive, comfortable, and colorful classroom arrangement, along with student artwork displays, enlivens classrooms and motivates students to learn. Professional educators employing student-centered teaching methods contribute to students' developmental progress. Interactive, enjoyable, and positive teacher-student interactions in the classroom create a conducive and productive learning environment

    The Effect of the Problem Posing Learning Model on the Critical Thinking Skills of Fifth Grade Students in Mathematics

    The learning process applied by educators has varied in the use of learning models; however, students' critical thinking skills are still considered low. In light of this issue, the researcher attempted to implement a learning process using a model that had never been used by educators before, namely the problem posing learning model. This study aims to examine the effect of the problem posing learning model on the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students in mathematics at MIN 10 Bandar Lampung. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design (post-test only control group design). The study was conducted at MIN 10 Bandar Lampung, specifically in the fifth grade, involving two classes as the experimental and control groups, as well as an additional class for validation purposes. The instruments used in this study included tests. Data analysis was performed using the t-test. The results showed that the normality test yielded values of 0.180 and 0.054, both greater than 0.05, indicating that the data were normally distributed. The homogeneity test showed a value of 0.918, which is also greater than 0.05, indicating that the data were homogeneous. The hypothesis test using the Independent Samples t-Test resulted in a value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05, meaning that the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the problem posing learning model on the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade mathematics students at MIN 10 Bandar Lampung

    The Relationship Between Emotional Intelligence and Learning Outcomes of Grade II Elementary School Students

    This study aims to find the relationship between emotional intelligence and learning outcomes of grade III elementary school students. The research method used in this study uses a quantitative approach with a correlation research type. The population in this study were all grade II I of Muhammadiyah Sukajawa Elementary School, Central Lampung, totaling 20 students. The data collection tools used were questionnaires to find emotional intelligence data and tests to find learning outcome data. The prerequisite tests used were normality tests and linearity tests. The data analysis technique in this study used the Pearson correlation test (product moment correlation). Based on the research, the results showed that there is a relationship between students' emotional intelligence and the learning outcomes of grade III students of Muhammadiyah Elementary School Sukajawa, Central Lampung

    Implementation of Multicultural and Moderate Islamic Education at the Elementary Schools in Shaping the Nationalism

    Islamic multicultural education in formal education can be implemented since elementary school. The purpose of this article is to describe the application of multicultural education with moderate Islamic values through the learning process in elementary schools to shape the character of nationalism in Indonesia. The qualitative method was used in this study to see the phenomena that occur in the field. The data analysis used was the source and technique triangulation method. There were 8 respondents from three elementary schools, namely Sekolah Dasar Negeri 7 Kota Metro, Sekolah Dasar Negeri 4 Kota Metro, and Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 1 Kota Metro. The research instruments used were interviews, observations, and documentation, which were then analyzed through inductive thinking. The development of multicultural education and moderate Islamic values in shaping the character of nationalism was done through the integration of moderate Islam by instilling tawassuth, tassamuh, tawazun, and amar ma'ruf nahimunkar attitudes by introducing the surrounding environment as a cultural plurality (contextual approach) and instilling an attitude of tolerance and able to coexist with other people. These three steps were developed by the teachers in structured lesson planning by formulating goals, setting essential material, carrying out the learning process, and carrying out attitude assessments

This study aims to improve students' environmental awareness through the integration of environmental education in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) learning at SD Alam Lampung with the Project Based Learning (PjBL) approach. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the application of PjBL in IPAS learning can improve students' understanding, attitudes, and actions towards environmental issues.     Community participation is a form of community participation as a form of strengthening democracy. Community participation is not only carried out during regional head elections, but village head elections are also carried out as a form of support for leaders who represent themselves to become aspirational and accommodating leaders who are elected in the Yuwanain Village head election in Arso District, Keerom Regency. The methodology used is by combining qualitative research methods and quantitative research methods. Qualitative method through interviewing respondents. While the quantitative method is the author gives a questionnaire to the respondents by selecting the answer options and then quantitatively statistically. These two methods are used with the aim of making the data more valid and comprehensive.     This study explores the integration of Piil Pesenggiri local wisdom into character education through Social Sciences Subject (IPS) in elementary schools in Metro City, Lampung. Piil Pesenggiri local wisdom, which consists of four main pillars; respect for others (Nemui Nyimah), cooperation (Sakai Sambayan), achievement (Juluk Adek), and equality (Nengah Nyampur), has been recognized as an important foundation for strengthening character learning in the school environment. This study utilizes qualitative approach and case study in three different elementary schools in Metro City. The research method used is multi-case skin, which collects data through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and analysis of learning documents. The results depict that the application of Piil Pesenggiri values in social sciences subject significantly promoted positive characters development among learners, including respect for diversity, cooperation, motivation for achievement, and understanding of equality. This practice not only enriches the social sciences subject’s curriculum with culturally relevant content but also contributes to the formation of positive social attitudes and behaviors among learners. These findings suggest that local wisdom such as Piil Pesenggiri can be used as an effective instrument in character education, supporting a holistic vision of education in Indonesia, especially in the diverse community contexts such as Metro City, Lampung. This research provides important insights into the potential of local wisdom in forming the basis of strong and culturally relevant character education
