Desain dan Uji Coba Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Videoscribe Sebagai Sumber Belajar Pada Materi Bentuk Molekul Kelas X IPA SMA
This research was instigated by the importance of technology-based learning facilities for students in learning Chemistry. This research aimed at knowing validity and practicality levels of the media designed. It was conducted to the tenth-grade students of MIA 2 of State Senior High School 1 Pekanbaru in the Academic Year of 2019/2020, and they were 12 students.It was Research and Development (R&D) with Borg and Gall modification model. The subjects of this research were who tested the validity (the experts of media and material) and practicality (teachers and students). Interview and questionnaire were used to collect the data. The final product was in the form of a valid learning media. Videoscribe-based learning media on Molecular Shapes lesson developed was tested valid by the experts of media and material with 91.87% mean percentage (very valid) and it was tested practical by 2 Chemistry subject teachers and 12 students with 91.02% mean percentage. Based on these findings, it could be concluded that Videoscribe-based learning media on Molecular Shapes lesson was valid and practical, sothe testcould be done at thefurther stage
Efektivitas Problem-Based Learning Menggunakan Pre-Lecture Quiz Terhadap Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis
This research aimed at finding out whether Problem Based Learning with Pre-Lecture Quiz was effective or not in increasing student critical thinking skill. This research was instigated with the learning taking place tended to be centered on the teacher and made students passive. Students need to be actively involved in the learning process for effective and meaningful learning. Quantitative method was used in this research with quasi-experimental approach and pretest-posttest control group design. The samples were the eleventh-grade students of MIPA 5 as the control group and the students of MIPA 6 as the experimental group The techniques of analyzing data were t-test to find out the difference of student critical thinking skill and N-gain test to find out the effectiveness level. The research findings showed that (1) the score signifigansi of t-test 0.000 was lower than 0.05, so H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. The N-gain score of the experimental group was 76.8%, it was on effective category, the score of control group was 62%, and it was on effective enough category; and (2) The indicators of students' critical thinking skills in the experimental class were higher than the control class, especially in the indicators of strategy and tactics with a percentage of 84.21% and 76.01% respectively. It could be concluded that PBL learning with PLQ was effective in increasing student critical thinking skill
Desain dan Uji Coba E-Book Berbasis POE (Prediction-Observation-Explanation) Pada Materi Laju Reaksi
This research was instigated by the importance of learning facility technology based for students on Chemistry Subject. It was aimed at knowing the validity and practicality of media that was designed. This research was conducted to the eleventh-grade students of MIPA 6 at State Senior High School 1 Pekanbaru in the Academic Year 2019/2020, and they were 12. It was Research and Development with Borg and Gall modified model. The techniques of collecting the data were observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation. The final product was in the form of instructional media that was valid. POE (Prediction, Observation and Explanation) based Electronic Book on Reaction Rate lesson had been tested valid by experts of media and material with 90.13% mean percentage (very valid), and practical by 2 Chemistry subject teachers and 12 students with 91.41% mean percentage (very valid). Based on the result, it could be concluded that POE based Electronic Book on Reaction Rate lesson was valid and practical, so the next phase could be tested.

Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian dan Pengembangan dengan model modifikasi Borg and Gall. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. Produk akhir berupa media pembelajaran yang sudah valid. Buku Elektronik berbasis POE (Prediksi, Observasi, dan Penjelasan) tentang Laju Reaksi mata pelajaran telah diujicobakan oleh ahli media dan materi dengan rata-rata persentase 90,13% (sangat valid), dan praktik oleh 2 guru matapelajaran Kimia dan 12 siswa dengan persentase rata-rata 91,41% (sangat valid). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa Buku Elektronik berbasis POE pada materi Laju Reaksi sudah valid dan praktis, sehingga tahap selanjutnya dapat diuji.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Pengaruh Penerapan Pendekatan Socio Scientific Issues Terhadap Kemampuan Literasi Sains Siswa Pada Materi Minyak Bumi
Science literacy ability was one of abilities that should be owned by students, and this ability was on low category in Indonesia. It needed attention to be developed because of the successful indicators of chemistry learning process. This research aimed at knowing the effect of implementing Socio Scientific Issues (SSI) approach toward student science literacy ability on Crude Oil lesson at the eleventh grade of MIPA of State Senior High School 5 Pekanbaru. It was a quasi-experimenta research with pretest and posttest design. The subjects of this research werethe eleventhgrade students of MIPA in the Academic Year of 2019/2020. Simple random sampling technique was used in this research, and it was obtained two sample classes—the eleventh-grade students of MIPA 2 (experimental group) and 3 (control group). The data of this research were collected through observation, preliminary data test that was homogeneity test, and final data tests that were pretest and posttest. N-gain and paired sample t-test with SPSS 21 were used to know the effect of implementing SSI approach in increasing student science literacy ability. The obtained score of n-gain showed that there was a significant increase of student science literacy ability, it was on high category for the eleventh-grade students of MIPA 2 and it was on medium category for the students of MIPA 3. The results of analyzing the preliminary and final data showed that the score of -tobserved was -22.491, -ttable was -2.0301, and +ttable was 2.0301 at 5% significant level. The score of - observed was lower than -ttable, and tobserved was higher than ttable, so H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. It showed that there was aneffect of implementing SSI approach toward student science literacy ability on Crude Oil lesson at the eleventh grade of MIPA of State Senior High School 5 Pekanbaru.

Hal ini perlu mendapatkan perhatian untuk dikembangkan karena indikator keberhasilan proses pembelajaran kimia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan pendekatan Socio Scientific Issues (SSI) terhadap kemampuan literasi sains siswa pada materi minyak bumi kelas XI MIPA SMAN 5 Pekanbaru.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasy eksperimen dengan rancangan pretest dan posttest.Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XIMIPA tahun ajaran 2019/2020 dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel secara simple random sampling maka diperoleh 2 kelas sampel yaitu XIMIPA 2 (kelas eksperimen) dan XIMIPA 3 (kelas kontrol). Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui observasi, tes data awal yaitu tes homogenitas dan tes data akhir yaitu pre-test dan post-test. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan pendekatan Socio Scientific Issues (SSI) terhadap kemampuan literasi sains siswa dianalisis dengan menggunakan n-gain dan paired sample t-test dengan SPSS 21. Score n-gain yang diperoleh menunjukkan kemampuan literasi sains siswa mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dengan kategori ‘tinggi’ untuk kelas XI MIPA 2 dan kategori ‘sedang’ untuk kelas XI MIPA 3. Hasil analisis data awal dan akhir diperoleh nilai thitung = -22,491,-ttabel = -2,0301 dan +ttabel = 2,0301 pada taraf signifikan 5%. Nilai -thitung< -ttabel dan thitung > ttabel sehingga H0 ditolak, dan Ha diterima yang berarti menunjukkan adanya pengaruh penerapan pendekatan Socio Scientific Issues (SSI)terhadap kemampuan literasi sains siswa pada materi minyak bumi kelas XI MIPA SMAN 5 Pekanbaru

Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases.
