Potret Keislaman Mahasiswa Universitas Al Azhar Indonesia
Memotret realitas keislaman mahasiswa UAI secara akurat merupakan titik tolak dilakukannya penelitian ini. Diharapkan, potret tersebut bermanfaat dalam merumuskan model kebijakan, regulasi, dan pendekatan yang relevan dan efektif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai keislaman di kalangan mahasiswa UAI. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini berusaha mencover responden dalam prosentase yang relatif besar (sampai dengan 18% dari populasi) dari seluruh fakultas di UAI, dari angkatan 2008, 2009, dan 2010. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode proportional random sampling mengingat jumlah mahasiswa per fakultas yang tidak sama. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan sejumlah poin penting, di antaranya: (1) Realitas keislaman mahasiswa UAI secara umum tergolong sedang, (2) Ada kesenjangan antara aspek akidah, ibadah dan akhlak dalam keislaman mereka. Dalam hal akidah, mereka relatif baik. Namun terlihat penurunan dalam aspek ibadah dan akhlak, (3) Lingkungan tempat mereka tumbuh dan perhatian orang tua berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keislaman mereka.Abstract The main purpose of this research is to capture the reality of UAI student Islamic life. Hopefully, the output of the research able to formulate regulation, policy, and relevan approaches in assisting Islamic values among UAI student effectively. Therefore, the research trying to cover huge presentage of respondents (reaching 18 percent out of all students) from all faculties in UAI. The respondent qustioned in this polling coming from periode of 2008, 2009 and 2010. This polling using proportional random sampling method, that is why the average of every faculty has different percentage. The research concludes some important points; including (1) Islamic life of UAI students relatively classified as moderate, (2) There is also gap among students in term of faith (creed), worship and morality. In term of faith, they are mainly good. But in term of worship and morality the result shows significant decrease, (3) The Background which they were growing up and the parental cares having great influences on how they hold Islamic values
Signifikansi Pemikiran Sayyid Abdullah Bin Alwi Al-Haddad Dalam Kitab Risalah Al-Muawanah Tentang Pendidikan Akhlak
Sayyid Abdullah bin Alwi Al-Haddad is a famous figure of Sufism. One of the books is the Minutes of Al-Mu'awanah, this study aims to find out how moral education according to Sayyid Abdullah Bin Alwi Al-Haddad in the Book of Al-Mu'awanah. The questions to be answered through this research are: (1) How is moral education according to Sayyid Abdullah bin Alwi Al-Haddad in the Book of Minutes of Al-Mu'awanah (2) What are the implications of the moral education of the Book of Al-Muawanah treatise according to Sayyid Abdullah bin Alwi Al- Haddad in everyday life. The research method used is library research. The data obtained is sourced from the literature. The primary data source is the Al-Mu'awanah Risalah, the secondary source is the translation and the other sources are the books and other books that are relevant and relevant to the research. The technical data analysis (content analysis) uses the Deductive method, the Inductive method. The findings of this study, show that the values of moral education contained in the book of the Book of Al-Mu'awanah by Sayyid Abdullah bin Alwi Al-Haddad is very relevant to education now, and is needed to change students who are currently still madhmumah. ), be a person of morality (good). The model of moral education in the Book of Al-Mu'awanah is arguably very practical and still holds fast to the Qur'an and the Hadith. Learning writing skills in Mandarin is often something that is feared and less desirable because of the level of difficulty, because it requires a learning method that can overcome the obstacles faced by learners in this proficiency. This research seeks to provide an alternative method of learning to write by optimizing students' reading abilities. By using a qualitative approach, the author tries to optimize the reading of Chinese texts in learning activities to improve students' writing skills. From the results of this study, it is known that by providing more reading input, students also have more knowledge regarding the topic of writing and its development, better vocabulary mastery and understanding of good writing methods/methods so that it has a positive impact on the development and improvement of writing skills of students in MandarinKeywords – Mandarin, Writing Skills, Reading Abilities, Optimizing.
Identitas Budaya Arab pada Rumah Masyarakat Arab Hadrami di Tanah Abang Jakarta (Studi Kasus Keluarga Al-Barqi)
The spatial design and application of ornaments in the houses of the Hadrami Arab community in Indonesia has its uniqueness. The distinctiveness features a combination or adaptation of cultures, resulting in a unique design character. This represents the cultural identity that is still maintained by the Hadrami Arab community in Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta. The type of research in this study is descriptive qualitative. The direct observation method is used to identify problems in the form of the application of space design and Arabic-style ornaments that are still maintained in the Hadrami Arab community house in Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta in the Hadrami Al-Barqi family. The findings of this research reveal the application of Arabic-style ornaments with Arabesque characteristics and also the application of space design with Arabic styles both classical and modern. This research is expected to contribute to public understanding of Hadrami Arab culture as a peranakan Arab community that also contributes to Indonesia's multicultural cultural repertoire.Keywords – Hadhrami Arabs, Cultural Identity, Spatial Design, Ornament
Pelatihan Program Terjemah Al-Qur’an Melalui Pendekatan Gramatika Dasar Bahasa Arab
Abstrak - Pengabdian kepada Masyrakat berbasis penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Masjid Bahrul Ulum sesuai dengan jadwal yang sudah dibuat oleh isntruktur. Pelatihan ini berjudul, Program Terjemah Al-Qur’an Al-Huda yang dipelopori oleh Ustadz Ahmad Huseno, S.S. sejak tahun 2003. Kegiatan ini berlangsung dalam kurun waktu kurang lebih delapan bulan sejak bulan Desember 20016 hingga Juli 2017. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan penulis adalah diawali dengan tahapan observasi ke tempat atau lembaga yang dituju, setelah jelas dan sesuai harapan, dilanjutkan dengan studi lapangan, guna mengetahui segala hal terkait pelatihan Terjemah Al-Qur’an Metode Al-Huda, sehingga dapat ditelusuri kendala dan hambatan yang dihadapi. Setelah itu, barulah penulis melakukan wawancara dengan pelopor atau penemu program ini. Dari kegiatan ini penulis menyimpulkan beberapa hasil yang didapat, yaitu: (1) para peserta dapat memahami kaidah Bahasa Arab dasar; (2) peserta sedikit demi sedikit mulai dapat mempraktekkan terjemah dari beberapa ayat al-Qur’an. Adapun masukan untuk program pelatihan ini adalah harapan terkait pengadaan kamus Indonesia-Arab dan Arab-Indonesia dan penjelasan singkat tentang tema ayat-ayat yang akan dibahas. Abstract - The devotion to this research-based society is carried out in the Bahrul Ulum Mosque in accordance with the schedule that has been made by the instructor. This training is entitled translation program AL-Qur’an method AL-Huda pioneered by Ustadz Ahma Huseno, S.S. Since 2003. This Activity taks approximately 8 Months from December 2016 to July 2017.Technique of data collecting by writer is begins with observation to the place or institute referred, after clear and as expected, followed by field study to know all matter related to training of Al-Qur’an translation Al-Huda Method, so can be traced the obstacles Faced. After that, then the author conducted an interview with the pioeer or inventor of this method. After partipating in some activities, author get some inputs to improve this training program. Among them is to provide dictionary and brief explanation of the theme of verses that will be discussed. From this activity the author concludes some of the results obtained, namely: (1) participants can understand basic Arabic rules; (2) participants gradually began to practice the translation of several verses of the Qur'an. The input for this training program is the hope related to the procurement of Indonesian-Arabic and Arabic-Indonesian dictionaries and a brief explanation of the themes of the verses to be discussed. Klasifikasi kandungan sejarah dalam epistemologi historiografi Hadiqat al-Azhar wa al-Rayahin oleh Syeikh Ahmad al-Fatani
Penulisan ini bertolak daripada kenyataan Wan Mohd. Shaghir Abdullah bahawa karya Hadiqat al-Azhar wa
al-Rayahin oleh Syeikh Ahmad al-Fatani merupakan kitab pertama di Alam Melayu yang meriwayatkan tentang
biografi imam mazhab empat dan Dawlah Uthmaniyyah, selain kitab tersebut mengandungi pelbagai maklumat
lain tentang sejarah. Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengenalpasti klasifikasi kandungan sejarah yang ditulis
dan disusun Syeikh Ahmad dalam Hadiqat al-Azhar wa al-Rayahin serta kesetaraannya dengan epistemologi
historiografi Islam. Penulisan ini menggunakan pendekatan kajian teks dan analisis dokumen terhadap teks
Hadiqat al-Azhar wa al-Rayahin. Hasil penulisan mendapati bahawa terdapat sembilan klasifikasi sejarah
dalam teks Hadiqat al-Azhar wa al-Rayahin yang setara dengan epistemologi historiografi Islam iaitu sejarah
kontemporari, manaqib (biografi), qasas (naratif), kronologi, ansab (geneologi), autobiografi, sejarah
tempatan, sejarah universal dan falsafah sejarah
THE PROPHETHOOD OF MARYAM IN TAFSIR AL-MISBAH AND TAFSIR AL-AZHAR (A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF QS. ALI IMRAN VERSE 42): KENABIAN MARYAM DALAM TAFSIR AL-MISBAH DAN TAFSIR AL-AZHAR (STUDI KOMPARATIF TERHADAP QS. ALI IMRAN AYAT 42)
Kenabian merupakan salah satu hal yang prinsipil dalam agama Islam, termasuk didalamnya adalah isu kenabian perempuan. Isu ini menggeliat dalam dunia tafsir, kemudian direspon oleh para ulama dan menghasilkan dua sikap, ada ulama yang mendukung isu tersebut dan ada yang menolaknya, masing-masing kedua kubu tersebut memiliki argumentasi. penelitian ini akan membahas masalah seputar eksistensi isu kenabian perempuan ini dalam tradisi intelektual ulama Islam, kemudian eksistensi isu kenabian Maryam dalam tafsir al-misbah dan tafsir al-azhar, dan alasan isu ini bisa sampai dan diakomodir oleh kedua mufassir indonesia. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Pertama, terdapat dua kubu dalam merespon isu kenabian perempuan, ada yang menolak dan ada yang menerima. Adapun yang menolak adalah Abu Muhammad Abdullah bin Ibrahim bin Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Ja’far al-Ashili, Fakhruddin al-Razi, Ibn Katsir, serta al-Qusyairi. Sedangkan yang menerima adalah Abu Bakar Muhammad bin Mawhab al-Tujibi al-Qabri, Ibn Hazm al-Andalusi, Al-Qurthubi, serta Ibn Hajar al-‘Asqalani dengan argumentasi masing-masing. Kedua, isu kenabian Maryam terdapat dalam tafsir al-misbah dan tafsir al-azhar ketika membahas Qs. Ali-Imran: 42. Ketiga, terdapat dua alasan mengapa isu kenabian Maryam diakomodir dalam tafsir al-misbah dan tafsir al-azhar, pertama, kedua pengarang dari tafsir tersebut yaitu Quraish Shihab dan Hamka masing-masing mengusung spirit gender equality. Kedua, karena sifat dari tafsir itu sendiri yang genealogis sehingga sebuah wacana yang masuk dalam dunia tafsir sulit untuk dihapuskan dan dihilangkan
Characteristics of Women in the Qur'an (Analytical Study in Tafsir Al-Azhar and Tafsir Al-Misbah)
In the view of Islam, women are people who are highly respected. Al-Qur'an proves the nobility of women in a special sura named Al-Nisa>’ which means woman or woman. Rasulullah SAW also explained that heaven lies in the soles of women's feet, because in women there is a soft heart that causes women's characters to be different from men's. Based on the Al-Qur'an and Hadits, women have a big role in the life of the Al-Qur'an and are never separated from matters relating to women. This is evidenced by the many words used to describe women. Apart from the background above, the author examines the characteristics of women in surah al- al-Tahri<m verses 10,11 and 12 according to Buya Hamka in Tafsir Al-Azhar and M. Quraish Shihab in Tafsir Al-Misba>h as the main source of interpretation. In this study the authors used a qualitative approach which was classified into library research using descriptive data analysis methods. From the results of the research, the authors conclude that: Characteristics are formed not because of who one lives with, not because the family is respectable, so one's good or bad depends on one's piety to Allah swt. Indeed, guidance only comes from Allah SWT, even if he is the wife or husband of a believer. A person who is disobedient and treacherous will still receive punishment from Allah SWT, as well as a believer will not reduce his faith even though he lives with an unjust person. And a person who holds fast to religion and believes in what Allah SWT has decreed for him will be safe.
