Integration of Immersive Technology and Digital Twins for Emergency Management in Buildings
No full textThis study presents a systematic literature review (SLR) on the integration of immersive technologies and Digital Twins for emergency management in buildings, focusing on their application within the Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Operation (AECO) sector. Through a review of 24 articles, the study explores individual and combined impacts of Digital Twins, Augmented Reality (AR), and Virtual Reality (VR) on enhancing safety, efficiency and resilience during the operation and maintenance phase of buildings. Findings reveal that Digital Twins offer a dynamic platform for simulating emergency scenarios and improving decision-making processes, while immersive technologies provide interactive and realistic training environments. The synergistic integration of these technologies creates a robust framework for emergency preparedness and response, offering innovative solutions for path inspection in hazardous conditions and real-time emergency simulations. Challenges identified include high initial costs, technical complexity and data privacy concerns. It is proposed that future research should focus on long-term impacts, user acceptance and socio-economic benefits. This review underscores the transformative potential of combining Digital Twins and immersive technologies in refining emergency management practices in the AECO sector, pointing towards a future of improved safety and efficiency in building management

Prosedur tersebut meliputi operasi-operasi linguistik seperti pengguguran maklumat, penggantian leksikal dan rumus penyuntingan sintaksis. Prosedur tersebut ialah komponen penting bagi pihak akhbar mencapai falsafah penyuntingannya yang menjadi landasan penting dalam usahanya menghasilkan output terjemahan yang baik.
