Perubahan Spasial Wilayah Permukiman Muslim Sekumpul Terkait Aktivitas Dakwah KH Muhammad Zaini Abdul Ghani
Ulama have taken an important role in the people of South Kalimantan, not only in terms of social cohesion but also in the forerunner of Muslim settlements. Taking the case in Sekumpul Martapura, This study tries to identify the development pattern of the Sekumpul settlement delineation due to KH Muhammad Zaini Abdul Ghani's da'wah activities, and identification of changes in the function of the area. The settlement delineation spatial-sprawl obtained by Google Earth and Geospatial Information Agency and supported by structured interviews with key informants using a snowball sampling technique. The results showed the expression of spatial delineation development in the Sekumpul area run naturally and adapted what looks like an octopus pattern with the road network as its dominant factor. In the 1980s until recently the Sekumpul area has experienced three times changes in its function, from the center of propagation, residential, into economic functions with its religious tourism concept. There were no specific guidelines found in the da'wah material regarding the technical aspects of spatial development. One important message conveyed by KH Muhammad Zaini Abdul Ghani was to uphold the rights of guests. This concept was then very tightly held by the residents of Sekumpul, which impacted on the maximum provision of facilities and infrastructure for the pilgrims.
The descriptive study of service quality on customer satisfaction in Matrade Exhibition & Convention Centre (MECC): an empirical study through servqual/ Syed Muhamad Naufal Syed Abdul Ghani
The SERVQUAL instrument was developed in 1988 by Zeithaml, Parasuraman and Berry as a multi-item scale developed to assess customer perceptions of service quality in service industry. Customers usually evaluate service quality as low or high depend on whether the service performance meets their expectation or not. The purpose of this research is the descriptive study of service quality on customer satisfaction at Matrade Exhibition & Convention Centre (MECC) by using SERVQUAL theory and to throw light on the satisfaction level of the customers, so that the managers in the organization can improve the quality of their service. It depends on what the customer evaluate the firm as a service provider. This research uses SERVQUAL dimension as a guide to know the levels of customer satisfaction which is tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy in Matrade Exhibition & Convention Centre (MECC). Total sampling which is 30 respondents are among the clients that have been used MECC as their venue for their events. The questionnaire was distributed by using convenience method and some internal interview among the staff of MECC. The result of the study mentioned that all the SERVQUAL dimension are reliable to customer satisfaction
The influence of design character on logo recall / Muhamad Abdul Aziz Ab Gani
Logo is an important part of branding aspect especially in creating an identity for the brand. The definition of a logo actually is virtually limitless and cannot be restrict in today's globalized and borderless world. The reason is the growth and evolution of logo design has made a logo being valued not only from the definition aspect, but going further as a medium for communication and conveying messages (Armstrong, 2009). Nevertheless, in theory, a logo must at least easy to be remembered and recognize, as mentioned by Klerkx & Meurs (2006) that a logo design must emphasize on the elements that are easily remembered by the audience and thus, the brand represented by the logo is more well-known than competitors. Once a brand is known, the products will have more sales potential. This, according to Haig & Harper (1997) depends on the role and function of a logo design, which is to be easily remembered. From the basic principle of a logo design that is to make it easy to be remembered, several important questions arises through a research process. The most important question is what is the most significant factor that makes a logo easy to be remembered. As the result, this research focused on design characters exist in a logo design which involve shape, line, colour, typography, and image in finding the most significant factor in making a logo easy to be remembered. There are three objectives outlined for this research. The first one is to explore the design characteristic of logos used in Peninsular Malaysia's SME companies and product. The second objective is to determine which of the design characteristic that are more easily recognize and remember. The final objective is to establish the design characteristic in the context Malaysia. This, to ensure the objectives of this research are achieved, the 'mix method' approach was applied and implemented during this research where qualitative approach was used to achieve the first objective while quantitative approach has helped to achieve the second and third objectives. Positively, the findings from the analysis shows that each of the design character (shape, line, colour, typography & image) used in a logo design is significant to our memorization. From the five design characters, typography is the most significant design character in terms of making a logo easy to be remembered. Finally, this research has a direct contribution in four main aspects. The first one is theoretical contributions where this research has collected various theories from different aspects and field related to design character. The second contribution is in the methodological aspects where this research has produced a new theoretical framework that can be used in future researches. Third, this research has a good practical contribution where it can be use by designer and decision maker as a guide in producing best logo design. Lastly, in the aspect of social contribution, this research can be benefited by the society in understanding the role and function of a logo in our daily lives
Strength of wood dowel from Mersawa, Kedondong Bulan and Kedondong Sengeh in UiTM forest / Wan Muhamad Farhan Wan Yusoff, Aizuddin Arif Abdul Ghani and Muhamad Faiz Mahmood
This research is about the strength of wood dowel from Mersawa, Kedondong bulan and Kedondong sengeh. All the species are from DIP UiTM Forest. In this research we were comparing the strength of each species as dowel in making joints by using breaking load testing. Breaking load testing is a test to determine the load which causes fracture in a tensile, compression, flexure or torsion test. In tensile tests of textiles and yarns, breaking load also is called breaking strength. For this breaking load testing we were using model that used by Matthias Wandel, a famous writer and wood expert. Then, we used SPSS was to analyze all the data that we obtained from the breaking load testing
Intelligence Towel Dryer & Disinfectant / Muhamad Azzim Hakimi Abdul Ghani ... [et al.]
Germs or bacteria are more likely to growth on a wet surface and we will be at a risk of getting a disease if we are exposed to bacteria. Without our concern, we use a thing that brings a lot of germs every day which towel is. So, how long does it take for the towel to completely dry and how confident we are that our towel brings least of germs? So here is the Intelligence Towel Dryer & Disinfectant with UV light technology will help to dry the towel much sooner and disinfecting the towel. So, their towel cannot be dried as fast as those who opt for outdoor drying. Besides, most students who stay in hostel also have a problem with wet and smelly towel due to no space to hang their towel. Most of them just hang their towel in a bathroom and let it dry on their own. The most effective way to dry and disinfect the wet towel naturally is by hanging the towel under the sun light as it will emits an ultraviolet that can help in kill the germs. This theory will be implemented into this new technology to dry and disinfect the towel even in a closed and dark room

Role Of ultrasound In central neuraxial blockade
Standard practice central neuraxial blocks (CNB)
commonly performed in sitting position involves
using surface landmark technique (identification of
Tuffier’s line), operators feeling of tactile sensation
and or seeing free flow of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF).
Although identification of spinous process are very
reliable, surface anatomy landmarks sometimes are
not always easily identified, especially in patients
with spinal deformity, for example kyphoscoliosis,
obesity, oedema or previous back surgery.1,2
Tuffier’s line, a line drawn between the highest point
of iliac crests is widely used as estimation of L3 - L4
interspace, but the correlation is inconsistent.3 The
precision of identification varies and inaccurate in
many patients may end up needle placement one
or two spinal levels higher.1,2,4-7 Surface landmark
technique does not give the anaesthesiologist
reliability to locate the space for needle insertion,
predict ease of needle placement and avoiding
accidental dural puncture during epidural insertion.
Ultrasound imaging can be used to preview the
underlying spinal anatomy (pre-procedural scan)
or guide the spinal needle in real-time during
performing CNB. The ultrasound can 60% correctly
identified L2 - L3 interspace, with margin of error 7
- 9% either one space above or below, in comparison
with clinical assessment 9 - 18% up to 2 spaces
higher or lower (more significant variability).10 With
pre-procedural ultrasound scan, the reliability of
identification of the L3-L4 interspace increases to
almost 70 - 80%. An anaesthesiologist can identify
the midline of the spine accurately, identify the
correct lumbar interspace, measure and predict
skin to space distance and identify patients with
potentially difficult CNB.1,2,8,9,1
