Formulation of the problem from this research is What methodology does Abdul Basir use in interpreting the book “Ayat-Ayat Al-Qur’an dalam Perspektif Pendidikan Islam " and What are the characteristics of the book “Ayat-Ayat Al�Qur’an dalam Perspektif Pendidikan Islam" by Abdul Basir. Type research takes the form of library research, which involves studying literature and written materials such as books, magazines, journals, newspapers, and other sources. The research approach used is qualitative, which aims to provide a detailed and comprehensive description of the data being studied. The book employs two methods of interpretation: maudhû'î (thematic) and tahlîlî (analytical). While the tahlîlî method is utilized for explanations, the maudhû'î method dominates the writing, covering various themes. This interpretation is rooted in authentic sources, including the Quran and valid hadîths (sayings of the Prophet Muhammad), and falls under the category of Tarbawi, which focuses on Quranic verses pertaining to Islamic education.     Laporan ini ditulis sebagai bahan rujukan kepada mereka yang ingin memahami bagaimana kerja-kerja Pembuatan Mesin yang bermula dengan rekabentuk lukisan kejuruteraan, pembinaan (fabrication) dan akhir sekali cara mesin beroperasi. Projek ini dijalankan sebagai menyahut cadangan yang dikemukakan oleh pihak pengusaha dodol yang ingin mendapatkan sebuah mesin untuk pengeluaran dodol secara besar-besaran. Untuk pengetahuan umum, mesin yang kami cipta hanyalah sebagai "prototype” sahaja kerana dalam pembinaannya terdapat banyak kelemahan dan kekurangan dalam pelbagai segi terutamanya dari segi pembinaan yang kurang teguh. Walaubagaimanapun kami sentiasa berharap agar pihak-pihak yarig lebih mahir di dalam bidang pembuatan (manufacturing) akan meneruskan usaha-usaha kaji selidik bagaimana dapat menghasilkan sebuah mesin yang dapat memberikan persembahan (performance) yang baik dari segi kebolehpercayaan (reliability) yang tinggi

    Queue management mobile application with geo-fencing / Muhammad Aminuddin Abdul Basir

    Queuing can be cumbersome, tedious, and sometimes unsystematic which is inefficient and cause people leave or not join the queue to begin with. A survey have been conducted at two public organizations to determine time taken for user to complete their queue and to observe the current queueing system available at most premises. Most premises or organizations use ticket based queueing system where user have to predict the status of the queue themselves and have to come to the premises to join queue without proper planning. The problems with current queueing system is cause fatigue, wasted waiting time, and inadequate information about the current situation of the queue. With the increasing use of mobile phone and internet accessibility, mobile queuing can be implemented where user can take part in the queue via mobile device without them to come to the premises. Hence, development of SmartQ which is a queue management mobile application with geo-fencing feature can tackle this issue by implementing the mobile queueing for two organization. This mobile application also support multi-organization queue where this project is combined with other project, SmartQ: Real-Time Multi-organization Queue Management System using Predictive Modelling. This mobile applications also aid user to get information about the current status of queue at the organization such as number of people in queue and estimated waiting time. The geo-fence feature help the organization to limit number of user that can join queue within certain range from the premise. Functionality test and geo-fence accuracy test is conducted to test the functionality of the mobile application and to measure the accuracy of the geo-fence feature. Functionality test was conducted to determine each function of mobile application is up to specification and accuracy test of geo-fence features is conducted to test how accurate the geo-fence limit the user from take part in the queue given their location. In the future, this mobile application can be improved by including more organizations and allowing users to join queue from multiple organizations from different locations

    Obesity and its associated diseases and coronary heart diseases are a major challenge for our society. An important target for the treatment of obesity includes the development inhibitors of nutrient digestion and absorption. Pancreatic lipase is the enzyme responsible for digestion and absorption of triglycerides, being its inhibition one of the widest studied methods used to determine the potential activity of natural products to inhibit dietary fat absorption. Decrease of energy intake from dietary fat through inhibition of this enzyme may be an excellent strategy to prevent and treat obesity.The inhibitory activity on pancreatic lipase enzyme of Lawsonia Inermis or henna leaves was evaluated using the spectrophotometer to get the concentration. Inhibition of pancreatic lipase are found by using the michelis menten equation, lineweaverburk, hanees wolf plot and eadie hofstee plot. The enzyme kinetics were obtained with different concentration of substrate (cooking oil) and gallic acid, quercetin, pancreatic lipase and buffer were the constant. Then the result was plotted to get the correct mode of inhibition

    The concentrated parabolic solar dish is a green technology that can generate power from solar. This system only uses light from the sun as energy source. The objective of this study is to analyse the concentrated solar dish performance for solar thermal power production. There are some criteria must be considered before start the experiment as performance of solar dish may be different with different condition such as material of reflector, the shape of reflector, diameter of the concentrator, focal length of concentrator dish, and rim angle. The study involves the design and optimization of thermal performance of solar parabolic dish collector under Malaysia tropical climate. A recycle satellite dish has been utilized and wrapped up with aluminium film as a reflector to concentrate the sunlight and the aluminium block as the receiver. The focal point had been calculated to place the concentrated beam receiver correctly. The amount of heat received was calculated based on radiation heat transfer. The heat is to be collected by tap water flow through the manifold attached to the receiver. An Arduino system was used to collect the temperature data from the experiment. During the experiment, the parabolic dish reflects the sunlight and concentrates the light to the receiver at focus point. The high temperature was produced at the receiver. The performance was measured by calculate the heat extracted by the water in the system.     ABSTRAK Abdul Basir (2022): Model Pembelajaran Membaca Al-Qur’an di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Kota Batam Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana pembelajaran membaca al-qur’an di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Kota Batam selama ini dan menemukan model pembelajaran membaca al-Qur’an yang relevan dengan konteks Madrasah Tsanawiyah Kota Batam. Untuk menjawab pertanyaan penelitian, maka pendekatan penelitian digunakan adalah pendekatan Kualitatif. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan domkumentasi. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisa dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil ananalisis menunjukkan bahwa pertama, pembelajaran membaca al-Qur’an di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Kota Batam selama ini dapat diketegorikan kurang baik. Kesimpulan ini didasarkan kepada empat hal yaitu, metode, cakupan materi, peran siswa dan guru, dan media dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran membaca al-Qur’an di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Kota Batam selama ini. Kedua, berdasarkan kepada hasil analisis yang dilakukan terhadap literatur-literatur yang berkaitan dengan pembelajaran membaca al- Qur’an dan realita yang terjadi di lapangan, peneliti menemukan model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan konteks Madrasah Tsanawiyah Kota Batam. Model disebut sebagai Model Basirah (Belajar Al-Qur’an Sistematis, inovatif, Realistis, Aktif, dan Holistik. Dengan didesainnya model ini berdasarkan permasalahan dan kebutuhan di lapangan serta teori yang relevan, model ini dipandang mampu menjadi solusi permasalahan membaca al-Qur’an di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Kota Batam.     Faktor kepenggunaan kinayah dalam al-Quran al-Karim / Abdul Basir Awang and Ummi Syarah Ismail

    The use of kinayah element in the al-Quran is not merely to accentuate the linguistic esthetical value, but also to accentuate the relevance of the Quranic language in human‟s thought, culture, and nature. 69 data of kinayah from the al-Quran which have been agreed upon by Tafsīr al-Munīr and ṣafwah al-Tafāsīr were analysed in terms of semantics, denotation, and connotation in order to find out the resulted meanings. Findings show that the factors of using kinayah in the al-Quran correlated with the desire of humankind. There are four (4) main factors of using kinayah in the al-Quran. Summarization purpose, in-depth meanings, speaking courtesy, and motivation are the main factors identified. The use of these factors in the kinayah of al-Quran is compatible with its status as the book of guidance to the universe. The combination of these factors contributes in making kinayah an interesting art of communication. This analysis also manages to highlight the presence of i‟jāz lughawī in the al-Quran
