No full textKäesoleva lõputöö eesmärgiks oli analüüsida AS Leiburi tootmistöötajate ja
väljastusosakonna töötajate töögraafikuid ning graafiku koostamise protsessi.
Tootmistööstuses, eriti toiduainetööstuses, on tähtis töötajate täpsus ja tähelepanelikkus.
AS Leiburi töögraafikute analüüsist tuli esile, et töötajad teevad palju ületunde, mis
mõjutavad nende puhkeaega ning tööle tullakse väsinult. See mõjutab töötaja tervist ja
töökvaliteeti, mis pole ettevõtte jaoks produktiivne.
Ettevõttes kasutatakse summeritud tööaja arvestust, ning töötajate töörütmiks on kaks
päeva ja ööd tööl ja siis on neli vaba päeva. Töögraafikud koostatakse eelmise kuu 25.
kuupäevaks ning enne seda on töötajatel võimalus esitada oma vabade päevade soove.
Analüüsimiseks võeti ette mõlema osakonna ühe kuu graafik, töö autor viis läbi intervjuu
töögraafiku koostajatega ja küsitluse töötajate seas. Informatsiooni kokku kogumisel
analüüsiti olukorda ja kuidas saaks seda parendada.
Suurimad kitsaskohad on ettearvamatud haiguslehed ja pikad puudumised, kuna tegemist
on situatsioonidega mida muuta ei saa, siis tuleks leida tõhusamaid lahendusi, kui pidevalt
kaastöötajate asendama kutsumist kolleegide arvelt. Töötajate vaatenurgast suhtuti kõige
negatiivsemalt siiski puhkeaegade ületamisesse, kui nende tavaline töörütm oli häiritud.
Töötajad soovivad rohkem stabiilsust, et oleks mugavam oma isiklike kohustusi planeerida.
Parendusettepanekute seas toodi välja graafikute jagamise protsessi digitaliseerimise
vajadus, tööprotsesside ja tööaegade optimeerimise analüüsimine ning töötajate rohkem
suunamist ettevõtte sisesele õppimisele.
Lõputöös välja toodud parendusettepanekud on edastatud ettevõtte juhtkonnale, kes
nendega edasi tegelevad. Sissejuhatuses esitatud eesmärgid said täidetud ning
kokkuvõtvalt võib lugeda töö õnnestunuks.The following graduation thesis is An Analysis of Work Schedules and Suggestions for
Improvement of AS Leibur. AS Leibur is a food industry, where the productivity, health
and attention of employees is extremely important. Thesis focuses on the work schedule
and rest times of Company’s workers. The company uses a cumulative working time
system and current setup, which involves four-day work shifts followed by four days off
poses challenges in maintaining both employee well-being and operational efficiency. The
aim of the study is to examine the existing system, find bottlenecks and present
suggestions for improvement.
The thesis seeks answers to the following questions:
• What is the current system of work schedules and rest periods in the company?
• What are the problems and challenges in the current system of work schedules and rest
periods at AS Leibur?
• What could be potential improvement suggestions for optimizing the work schedules and
rest periods at AS Leibur?
The paper is divided into two parts. The first part elucidates the requirements and criteria
for work schedules and rest periods, while introducing the effect of overwork on the
employee's health. The second part provides a practical overview of the thesis. It includes
an analysis of AS Leibur’s current schedule structure. To gain deeper insights, the
researcher conducted interviews with the production schedule creators, as well carried
out a survey among the company's employees. The purpose of these engagements was
to understand employee perspectives on why effective scheduling is difficult, and to see
their ideas and opinions on possible improvements to the system.
Analysis reveals that employees frequently work overtime, compromising their rest time
and overall well-being. The reliance on summarized work hours, with alternating work
and rest cycles, contributes to this imbalance. Notable issues include unpredictable
absences and disruptions to planned schedule, requiring frequent replacement of
colleagues, which disrupts the normal work rhythm. From the employee standpoint, the
most negative sentiment was directed towards exceeding their designated rest periods,
as it disrupted their normal work routines. Employees expressed a strong desire for more
stability and predictability in their schedules, as this would allow them to plan and
manage their personal obligations more conveniently.

The proposed improvements presented to the company focus on optimizing work
schedules and addressing issues with overtime and understaffing in several ways.
Proposed enhancements include firstly digitizing the schedule distribution process,
secondly the company is advised to analyze its work processes and identify opportunities
for optimization to ensure the completion of production volumes without the need for
overtime, and lastly directing employees towards internal learning opportunities,
empowering existing employees through self-development and learning initiatives is
recommended, thereby expanding the pool of skilled workers and increasing flexibility in
staffing arrangements. These suggestions have been forwarded to the company's
management for further action, fulfilling the stated objectives and marking the thesis as
successful
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
