iscan, imdat/0000-0001-6749-0591WOS: 000332038400037In this paper, the author introduces the concept of the quasi-geometrically convex functions, gives Hermite-Hadamard's inequalities for GA-convex functions in fractional integral forms and defines a new identity for fractional integrals. By using this identity, the author obtains new estimates on generalization of Hadamard et al. type inequalities for quasi-geometrically convex functions via Hadamard fractional integrals

Thesis (S.M.)--Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dept. of Architecture, 2002.Includes bibliographical references (leaves 75-80).In the digital age many notions which we take for granted, such as distance, time and space have changed dramatically. This change in perception introduces new metaphors and understandings which require a new mosque architecture to evolve that corresponds to the 'spirit of the time.' The virtual space creates opportunities for new kinds of interaction and communication. Now the 'village well' is the computer interface which connects us with the rest of the world. How can these emerging notions enrich and shape mosque architecture? How would it affect and/or change existing metaphors? How can new mosque architecture transform existing practices and rituals without falling astray to theological teachings? What kind of social, cultural and religious implications would it bear? The thesis is divided in three main parts; first it questions the holistic mosque paradi~ i'~nd explains the accumulation of religious architectural elements over centuries, second it investigates the Kocatepe Mosque experience in Turkey in more detail, which shed light onto the evolutionary process of the praying space and finally proposes a new mosque paradigm which converges virtual and physical spaces.by Imdat As.CDROM contents: 3D-model.dwg -- Animation.mov -- Original-drawings folder -- Orthagonal-renderings folder -- Thesis-Booklet.pdf.S.M

Emissions and fuel economy for a hybrid vehicle

    No full text
Conventional vehicles play a big role in city transportation all over the world. These vehicles run on energy obtained from fossils fuels such as petroleum oils that pollute environment with the gases that are emitted after burning. In addition, the cost of this fuel type will increase because of decreasing reserves; therefore, these petroleum oils must be used very efficiently. Due to environmental and financial problems, the development of clear and efficient city transportation has accelerated. Hence, hybrid electrical vehicles gain significant importance because they are environmentally friendly and efficient in fuel usage. In this study, a conventional commercial vehicle was chosen for design to a mixed hybrid systems. A simulation program was created for road simulation of these vehicles and with acceleration included; the consumption and emission values were also approximately calculated. As a result, it was seen that the mixed hybrid vehicles possess the same performance values with low fuel and CO2 emission. (C) 2013 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved

Minimal load constrained vehicle routing problems

In this paper, the Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem is extended to the case where each vehicle is restricted to an additional minimal starting or returning load constraint. We refer to this extension as the Minimal Load Constrained Vehicle Routing Problem. We present integer programming formulations for single and multidepot cases. An illustrative example is also provided to show how a decision maker can use the proposed formulation as an aid in distribution plannin

Veriler, bilgisayarda SPSS for Windows, 11.0 programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Bulgular: Bebeklerin İMDAT puan ortalamaları 6 ay boyunca incelendiğinde aylık ortalamaların yaklaşık 9 puan olduğu ve bebeklerin yeterli miktarda anne sütü aldıkları belirlenmiştir. Sonuç: İMDAT bebeğin aldığı anne sütü miktarını değerlendirmek için 6 ay boyunca kullanılabilir. Objective: Insufficient maternal milk supply is one of the most common reasons mentioned by women throughout the world for early discontinuation of breastfeeding. This study was plannedprospectively in order to develop a tool for assessing how much maternal milk is taken by the baby. Material and Method: The scope of this study covers 110 mothers and their babies who were born in the maternity department of a state hospital in Istanbul between September 2002 and May 2004 and weren 't suckled by their mothers in two hours after birth. These mothers were controlled with an interview over the phone in 2nd, 4th and 6th months after the labor. The data gathered constructed the input for IMDAT method and results are analyzed with SPSS for Windows, 11.0 program. Result: IMDAT points average approximately 9 points for 6 months, which suggests that maternal milk intake was sufficient for the group of babies studied. Conclusion: IMDAT can be used as a tool for assessing whether the maternal milk intake was sufficient or not for the 6 months period following birth

Bayburt, geographically located on the historical Silk Road that connects the Eastern Black Sea region with the Northeastern Anatolia region, is one of the ancient cities in the region. Throughout history, due to its location on the trade route, this city has been continuously inhabited, and it possesses a rich and deep cultural heritage. This cultural heritage, although constantly evolving in today’s digital world with rapid advancements in transportation and communication, has been largely preserved and passed down to the present day. In this regard, one of the most special cities in our country, Bayburt, has greatly benefited from individuals who both understand and actively preserve its culture. One of these individuals is İmdat Sancar. İmdat Sancar is one of the rare individuals who fit UNESCO’s definition of “culture bearers” with his knowledge of traditional folk songs, the songs he has composed, his participation in folk music events, and the traditional “sağdıç düğünü” (best man’s wedding) ceremonies he organizes. His special quality lies not only in his knowledge of the culture but also in his ability to actively practice and pass it on to others. The subject of this study is the traditional “sağdıç düğünü” (best man’s wedding) ceremonies known by İmdat Sancar. These ceremonies are actually categorized as village performance plays, falling within the realm of theatrical performances. These plays were collected from İmdat Sancar himself using interview methods and were analyzed from the perspective of Functional Theory. Content analysis was also conducted. As a result of the examination, it was determined that these plays serve various functions within the community and encompass a wealth of traditional knowledge and practices that are integral to people’s daily lives. © 2023 Goce Delchev University of Shtip. An Analysis of Residual Stresses in Thermal Barrier Coatings: A FE Performance Assessment

    No full text
Internal combustion engines have been widely used for past 100 years. In the development of engine components a number of special techniques are used to compact the hostile operating environment, which usually includes high and cyclic forces, high and cyclic temperatures, sliding and often corrosion and/or erosion. In this study, 3-D finite element structural and thermal analyses were carried out on both uncoated (without coating) and ceramic-coated engine piston. A 150 mu m super alloy bond coating (NiCrAlY) was first applied to the piston. Then, piston was covered by 350 mu m thickness of MgZrO3 as top coating. The analysis can be utilized to detect possible thermal problem spots in an engine, and to provide input data for general engine modeling and engine lubrication and wear studies
