Niobium Oxide Catalyst for Delignification of Switchgrass for Fermentable Sugar Production.
PENGENALAN DUNIA RISET KEPADA KELOMPOK PELAJAR PAPUA DI ARGAPURA RESIMEN GUNUNG KOTA JAYAPURA
The community service activity with the title "Introduction to the World of Research to Papuan Student Groups in Argapura Mountain Regiment Jayapura City" was carried out on June 25, 2021, at the Ayalon Argapura Church Building. This service activity focuses on students who are generally at the high school and junior high school level, but in its implementation, there are a number of elementary school students who participated. The service activity was opened by the Head of the Local RT 01/RW 06 and was also attended by a number of church youth. In its implementation, service activities begin with simple questions and answers about knowledge of the world of research, followed by material explanations, simple trial activities and delivery of observations by each group formed. The simple trial activity given is the Water Purification Trial by using materials and tools found in everyday life. It was seen that the participants were very enthusiastic in carrying out test activities and took an active role in providing responses to the observations. Therefore, the activity implementation team concluded that Papuan native students, although initially there was a tendency to be academically inactive, but if they applied the right simple concepts, their thinking and creativity could be developed.

Scientometric analysis of 312 papers by Ram Gopal Rastogi published during 1954 to 1992 in various domains: (a) Luni -solar activity and quiet -time E & F- region (57); (b) Equatorial electric field and low and mid latitude iof:osphere (78); (c) Ionospheric E- region irregularities (19); (dj Ionospheric F- region irregularities (32); and (e) Magnetic disturbance effects on the equatorial low and mid latitude ionosphere (23) were analysed. Interdomainery contents and of the number of papers: a+b were 36; b+c and b+d were 20 each; b+e were 16;. c+e were 5; a+e were 3; d+e were 2; and a+d had only one publication. Highest collaborations were with H. Chandra (61), M.R. Deshpande (42), and G. Sethia (19) out of his total 97 collaborators. His highest productivity was during 1978 with 28 papers followed by 19 papers during 1977. The core journals preferred by him for publishing papers were: Indian Journal of Radio & Space Physics, India, and Journal of Atomic & Terrestrial Physics, UK (59 each), followed by Proceedings of the Indian Academy of Sciences, India (34). Most prolific title keywords with their frequencies were: Ionosphere (92); Equatorial (61); F-region (53); Equatorial electrojet region (40), and Magnetic equator (30)
Antitrust Governance
In this article, the author argues that antitrust law has entered a new phase of its controversial existence. The role of antitrust in moderating inter-firm relationships depends both on the problems of the underlying market regime and the institutional capacity of antitrust decision-makers to respond to those challenges. For much of the 20th century, the model firm was hierarchical: vertical integration within the business organization was a way of achieving transaction cost efficiencies and delivering higher levels of output at lower prices. Recognition of this fact transformed antitrust from its traditional focus on concentrated power, to a policy focused on economic efficiency. This new emphasis necessarily led to a more modest antitrust policy, since courts were not institutionally well-suited to promoting efficiency. However, in the past two decades the model firm itself has also been transformed both by changes in technology and due to greater volatility of market conditions. Production is increasingly decentralized, and characterized by a profusion of deeply collaborative relationships, with innovation as a key aspect of firm success. This article brings together the emerging literature that describes the changes in firm organization, the governance problems of the new forms of joint development and the antitrust responses to those changes. The author argues that antitrust can play an important role in governing collaborative production relationships and identifies the institutional and remedial mechanisms of the new antitrust policy

In analysing the topic the thesis writer uses library research, consist of critics's opinions, the idea of being a gentleman and also some data about the novel and the author, and literary approach concerning characterization.From the analysis of the characterization of the two male major characters, the writer finds out that Mr. Crawley is the male major character who conveys the idea of the true gentleman. However, the unifying concepts of gentleman is a man who has manners as a gentleman and Mr. Crawley deserves to be called as a gentleman, because he is proved to behave and have manners of a gentleman. He is loving, responsible, honest, immmateriaHst, and unselfish. He has distinguishing quality of a gentleman. On the other hand, Arch. Grantley, who has born as a noble man, does not have the traits and mamiers of a gentleman
The Effect of Chemical Activating Agent on the Properties of Activated Carbon from Sago Waste
The effect of chemical activators on the properties of activated carbon from sago waste was conducted in this study by using ZnCl2, H3PO4, KOH, and KMnO4 chemical solutions. The carbonized sago waste was added to each chemical solution, boiled at 85 °C for 4 h, and heated at 600 °C for 3 h. The porosity, microstructural, proximate, and surface chemistry analyses were carried out using nitrogen adsorption with employing the Brunauer Emmett Teller (BET) method and the Barret-Joyner-Halenda (BJH) calculation, scanning electron microscopy by using energy dispersive spectroscopy, X-ray diffractometer, simultaneous thermogravimetric analysis system, and the Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy. The results showed that the activated carbon prepared using ZnCl2 acid had the highest specific surface area of 546.61 m2/g, while the KOH activating agent surpassed other chemicals in terms of a refined structure and morphology, with the lowest ash content of 10.90%. The surface chemistry study revealed that ZnCl2 and KOH activated carbon showed phenol and carboxylate groups. Hence, ZnCl2 acid was suggested as activating agents for micropore carbon, while KOH was favorable to producing a mesopore-activated carbon from sago waste

Antitrust law has entered a new phase of an always-controversial existence. The role of antitrust in moderating interfirm relationships depends both on the problems that arise in such relationships and the institutional capacity of antitrust decision-makers to respond to those problems effectively. For much of the twentieth century, the model firm was hierarchical: vertical integration within the business organization was a way of achieving transaction cost efficiencies and delivering to market higher levels of output at a lower price. The argument that integration was beneficial for organizing efficient production was used to induce a shift in the focus of antitrust law away from its traditional concern about concentrated power, to a policy focused on economic efficiency. This change in emphasis produced a more modest antitrust policy. Moreover, courts responded by insulating antitrust decision-making from economic knowledge necessary either to formulate ex ante efficiency rules, or to pursue outcomes that were ex post efficient, both because they were not institutionally well-suited to engage in such analysis and because the increased complexity and heterogeneity of economic relationships made it more difficult to formulate such rules.
The past two decades have witnessed a transformation in the paradigmatic model of the firm as a combined result of both changes in technology and the greater volatility in market environments in which firms operate. Production is increasingly de-integrated, and characterized by looser networks of independent collaborators: ongoing innovation and speedy adjustment to new market conditions are key aspects of firm success. This article brings together the emerging literature that describes the reasons for, and manifestations of, these changes in firm organization, as well as the governance problems that may arise in the new forms of joint development where collaborators must engage in deep information-sharing and face profound uncertainty about the future market landscape. The author argues that antitrust law can play an important role in governing these new forms of collaborative production, in a way that both resolves concrete problems arising in such collaborative relationships and advances the public interest. Importantly, the article also provides normative principles for the design of the institutions and remedies of the new antitrust policy
Design and development of a bottle cap opening device
Bottle caps have always been a pain in opening them. It is especially so for the elderly or people with weaker grips. According to research, it is known that as people age, their grip strength decreases. This comes along with the natural disadvantage in opening bottle caps. Although there are many products out in the market, there is still a need for a design which can limit the use of human effort. Thus, the aim of this project is to design a bottle cap opener which can do so.
The project starts with a conceptual phase whereby designs are rough and unpolished. By brainstorming various ideas using methods such as function analysis and morphological chart, ideas were streamlined using the weighted evaluation matrix, before coming to a final design.
Next stage is to refine the design using SolidWorks and come out with dimensions and parts needed to bring the idea to life. The idea consists of an upper movable system, a rotation system and a gripping system. Theoretical calculations were done to see if the torque produced by the design was sufficient in reducing the forces needed
Lastly, a prototype would be manufactured as to ensure the feasibility of the product in real world scenarios. Due to time constraints, the author could not finish the prototype.

Pretreatment of Switchgrass for Production of Glucose via Sulfonic Acid-Impregnated Activated Carbon
In the present research, activated carbon-supported sulfonic acid catalysts were synthesized and tested as pretreatment agents for the conversion of switchgrass into glucose. The catalysts were synthesized by reacting sulfuric acid, methanesulfonic acid, and p-toluenesulfonic acid with activated carbon. The characterization of catalysts suggested an increase in surface acidities, while surface area and pore volumes decreased because of sulfonation. Batch experiments were performed in 125 mL serum bottles to investigate the effects of temperature (30, 60, and 90 °C), reaction time (90 and 120 min) on the yields of glucose. Enzymatic hydrolysis of pretreated switchgrass using Ctec2 yielded up to 57.13% glucose. Durability tests indicated that sulfonic solid-impregnated carbon catalysts were able to maintain activity even after three cycles. From the results obtained, the solid acid catalysts appear to serve as effective pretreatment agents and can potentially reduce the use of conventional liquid acids and bases in biomass-into-biofuel production
