mengungkapkan persepsi mahasiswa manajemen dakwah terhadap syiar dakwah
Gus Miftah di tempat lokalisasi dan café Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitian ini
merupakan penelitian lapangan dengan sumber data primer dan sekunder.
Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara, dan
dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif.
untuk tujuan penelitian ini adalah Mengetahui pandangan mahasiswa manajemen
dakwah terhadap syiar dakwah yang disampaikan Gus Miftah Hasil penelitian ini
bahwa mahasiswa manajemen dakwah berpendapat bahwasanya mereka
menyukai cara dakwah Gus Miftah yang terkesan tidak menyinggung atau
merendahkan orang lain walaupun mereka bekerja di tempat yang tidak lazim,
tetapi ada juga mahasiswa yang tidak menyukai tempat Gus Miftah berdakwah
menurutnya tempat tersebut penuh dengan maksiat dan tidak pantas dijadikan
tempat berdakwah.

In silico designing of thermostabe β-Glucuronidase (GUS)
No full textThis research has used Molecular Dynamics (MD) techniquess as an in silico method of correlating the experimental studies done on GUS enzyme with computational study and has analyzed and identified the structural factors responsible for thermostability of this enzyme. GUS from E. coli is heat labile and inhibited by detergents and products, which hinder its usefulness as a reporter molecules in genetic
engineering. Therefore a more thermostable GUS enzyme needs to be designed for industrial applications. Using homology modeling, structures of mesophilic and thermophilic GUS enzymes from E. coli and T. maritima have been constructed based on the crystal structure of human GUS enzyme. MD
simulations of these mesophilic and thermophilic GUS enzymes at temperatures of 300 K and 353 K in vacuum and implicit solvent have provided information on thermolabile regions in the enzymatic structure to be targeted for thermal stability. The RMS deviation of backbone atoms and helical residues from their initial coordinates was analysed for the resulting simulation trajectories. A higher number of charged residues found in the thermostable GUS were found to be responsible for stability of the helices compared to mesophilic GUS. From analysis of salt bridges, the presence of higher number of Glu-Arg and Glu-Lys salt bridge pairs were found to be responsible for be responsible for thermostability of T.maritima GUS The thermolabile residues 150-155 in wild type E. coli GUS structures were identified, and have been suggested as mutation points for experimental studies to improve thermostability. These residues have not been identified before, and are suggested to be replaced with Ala, Arg, Glu, and Lys. The choice of Ala and Arg are supported by previous experimental mutations in other regions of GUS and
have resulted in thermostable GUS enzymes
KASYF PHENOMENON IN THE DEFOCALIZATION OF RATIONALITY: A MAGICAL REALIST PERSPECTIVE ON GUS MUS’S GUS JAKFAR
No full textGus Jakfar won the best short story in Kompas daily in 2004. This short story by Gus Mus tells of the story of a character named Gus Jakfar who has the privilege of forseeing other people’s fate just by looking at ‘signs’ (kasyf). Later, Gus Jakfar stopped seeing signs after his trip to meet Kiai Tawakkal. The phenomenon of seeing precognitive signs cannot be rationally understood by modern knowledge. The study of Gus Jakfar in the present article adopts magical realism from Wendy B. Faris’ perspective as a theoretical framework to examine kasyf as a defocalization narrative in short stories. The method of this study is descriptive analysis. The evidence to support the analysis includes words, phrases and sentences in the short story that are relevant to magical realist perspective, particularly in relation to the five elements of magical realism and defocalization. The analysis and description are carried out after collecting pieces of evidence from the short story. The analysis in this study shows that Gus Jakfar has the five characteristics of magical realism in it. From the five characteristics reflected in the text, there is an element called kasyf that is found to be an attempt of defocalization which is presented by the author using a mirroring technique. Kasyf in this short story is depicted from three perspectives. Although modern rationality has influenced people's identities, the pesantren tradition has not been abandoned. In this context, the kasyf phenomenon is understood as an alternative source of magical knowledge beyond the modern rational knowledge

No full textMuhammad Baha'udin Nursalim, Gus Baha' was named the Da'i of The Year 2020. During the Covid19 pandemic, the pattern and study of his da'wah communication also enlivened social media. How does Gus Baha' convey the message of da'wah on social media so that it attracts mad'u's attention? How does Mad'u respond to Gus Baha's da'wah style through social media? The author revealed the question by analyzing it through a qualitative approach and descriptive method. The author collects several data and fact findings from Instagram, Youtube, and Facebook which officially and authentically package their da'wah. The results of the study show that: First, Gus Baha' in preaching tends to be humorous, full of 'jokes' but full of Islamic scientific treasures. Comprehensive da'wah message with logic and scientific argumentation. He is Hafidz as well as mufassirin, making Gus Baha 'more flexible in conveying messages. Gus Dur-his familiar name, is a figure of the Muslim scholars, clerics, and also a politician who has a considerable influence in the national life in Indonesia. The idea of religious pluralism was offered by Gus Dur calls for recognition of the equal right to claim the truth of any religion by its followers, respectively. For Gus Dur difference faith/theology should not affect the enforce- ment of justice. Ever y religion should receive equal treatment before the law; hence neither group feels superior to the other.The author argues that the research on the views of Gus Dur is ver y important to see what is meant by religious pluralism. From this study we can also see the mapping of what Gus Dur strug gled in upholding religious pluralism. By using critical-thinking approach, Gus Dur’s tought will be dissected to obtain a com- prehensive understanding of the globalizing thought of Gus Dur which covering various aspects of life, not only limited in political issues, the relationship be- tween religion and the state as well as inter-religious relations.
