Indoor Wireless Communications using Slotted ISMA protocols
The performance of the Slotted ISMA protocols in Rician fading channel for Indoor Wireless communications considering Pico Cellular systems have been analyzed in this thesis. The throughput of Slotted nonpersistant Inhibit Sense Multiple Access (np-ISMA), Slotted 1-persistent ISMA (1p-ISMA) and Slotted np-ISMA\CD (Collision Detection) is investigated in the presence of n-interfering signals whose random amplitudes are considered as Rician distributed. Numerical results are presented, indicating the effect of propagation impairments on channel capacity. Unslotted Hybrid CDMA/ISMA Protocol for Indoor Wireless Computer Communications
A hybrid Code Division Multiple Access / Inhibit Sense Multiple Access (CDMA/ISMA) protocol has been proposed as an effective multiple access scheme for Indoor Wireless Computer Communications. This new protocol combines the advantages of both CDMA and ISMA into one protocol. On the one hand the ISMA protocol introduces a limitation to the number of simultaneous accesses to the transmission channel. On the other hand the CDMA protocol introduces an improvement to the packet survival chance. It is shown that the performance of the hybrid protocol is indeed better than CDMA only. In addition, code sharing can be applied to reduce hardware cost. The slotted hybrid CDMA/ISMA protocol using the p-persistent ISMA scheme has already been analysed. In this report, we investigate the hybrid protocol using the unslotted non-persistent ISMA scheme. The analysis is done for a star-connected multiple access wireless computer network. STUDI MANAJEMEN KESISWAAN DALAM PENERIMAAN SISWA BARU DI SMA NEGERI 1 PANGKAJENE KABUPATEN PANGKAJENE DAN KEPULAUAN

Penelitian ini menelaah manajemen kesiswaan di SMA Negeri 1 Pangkajene. Fokus masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah manajemen kesiswaan pada penerimaan siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Pangkajene? Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana gambaran manajemen kesiswaan di SMA Negeri 1 Pangkajene. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian berjumlah tujuh orang yang terdiri dari satu kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kesiswaan, staf TU yang bertindak sebagai panitia pelaksana satu orang, dua orang tua siswa dan dua orang siswa baru. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis data deskriptiif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen kesiswaan pada proses penerimaan siswa baru di SMA Negeri 1 Pangkajene dapat menunjang pencapaian tujuan pendidikan yang ditetapkan sekolah nasional. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa manajemen kesiswaan pada penerimaan siswa yang ditunjukkan dengan indikator kebijakan penerimaan siswa baru, sistem penerimaan siswa baru, kriteria penerimaan siswa baru, dan prosedur penerimaan siswa baru sesuai dengan prosedur yang ditetapkan oleh SMA Negeri 1 Pangkajene
Performance Analysis of Slotted ISMA Protocols for Mobile Communications on a Three Lane Motorway
A slotted ISMA protocol has been proposed for using with the communication channel from vehicles to a base station near the motorway. In this report the performance of this channel using the proposed protocol is analysed. Three slotted ISMA protocols can be distinguished, namely: • p-persistent slotted ISMA; • 1-persistent slotted ISMA; • non-persistent slotted ISMA. The performance of the protocol has been measured in terms of the throughput and the packet delay of the communication channel. The system has been modelled by assuming a capture receiver at the base station. The vehicles are assumed to maintain constant velocities while moving in one direction inside a cell of 200 metres on a three-lane motorway. The distribution of the vehicle positions on the motorway has been considered. Also the influence of the packet length and collision detection ratio will be examined. Furthermore the integration of DECT with the designed system is investigated. Peran Pemerintah Terhadap Tenaga Kerja Indonesia Tahun 2004-2014 (Studi Kasus TKI Asal Jawa Barat ke Saudi Arabia)
ABSTRACT Andi Riva Isma. C0513004. Government Role About Migrant Worker Between 2004-2014. Thesis: History Departement, Faculty of Cultural Science, Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta. The issue discussed on this research is about: (1) how the background of migrant worker development in West Java, (2) sociologic condition of West Java society (3) interest of West Java Society who want to go to Saudi Arabia, (4) the government policy about placing and protection of migrant worker in Saudi Arabia. The method on this research covering such as Heuristic which is a collecting of primary and secondary data obtained from BNP2TKI, BP3TKI, and Migrant Care. The next stage of source criticism namely compare and criticize historical sources to obtain data that is valid or invalid. Then, interpretation that is namely exposure and analyze to reduce subjectivity. And the last step is historiography, the writing of history in accordance with the characteristics of the writing of history that has a period, unique and interesting and the writing has the development and change. The result of this research is show us that between 2004-2014, West Java is the most migran worker sender with the highest ammount among other province in Indonesia, it caused by pull and driving factors. The pull factor is caused by; Saudi Arabian is a rich country, very high migrant workers demand for the domestic sector, and high sallary offer. Then, the driving factors covers economic circumstances that encourage to improve the standard of living, an open opportunity even for junior high school graduates, also the ease of pilgrimage when they have succesfully worked in Saudi Arabian. Meanwhile, the development of migrant workers departure who came from West Java to Saudi Arabia between 2004-2014 tend to be variated, and the higest amount is in 2011 which is 58.385 persons deeparture to Saudi Arabia. Also at 2011 the goverment applied migrant workers moratorium to Saudi Arabia as a form of goverment role in minimize case of violence that has happened in a long time. One of the causes of many cases of violence is the absence of direct protection regulations to protect domestic workers in the domestic sector by the Saudi Arabian government. The conclusion of this research is, on February 19th 2014 has reached an agreement about the placement and protection of domestic workers in Saudi Arabia. The success of the MoU signing agreement is the result of the hard work of the government to fight for the protection of Indonesian workers between Indonesia and Saudi Arabia. Performance Analysis of a Hybrid ISMA/CDMA Protocol for Indoor Wireless Communication
The hostile transmission medium encountered in Indoor: Wireless Communications (IWC) requires the use of special communication protocols. In this report we investigate a combination of the Inhibit Sense Multiple Access (ISMA) and Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) protocols. The ISMA protocol limits the number of simultaneous accesses to the transmission channel and the CDMA protocol improves the packet survival chance. With CDMA each bit is transmitted using several code bits, giving each signal has its own, easy to recognize, signature. Hybrid CDMA / ISMA Protocol in Rician Fading Channel in Indoor Wireles Data Communications
This thesis describes the performance analysis of a star-connected, indoor wireless computer data communication system using direct-sequence code division multiple access (DS-CDMA) and Hybrid CDMA / Inhibit Sense Multiple Access (ISMA) protocol. The channel performance is investigated in terms of bit error rate (BER) and the protocol performance is investigated in terms of traffic-throughput and throughput-delay characteristics. To enhance the performance, a diversity technique using Maximum Ratio Combining (MRC) is used. Konsep One River One Plan Dalam Penataan Kawasan DAS Binanga Lumbua Kabupaten Jeneponto
Kritisnya DAS Binanga Lumbua berkontribusi pada penurunan pendapatan perkapita Kabupaten Jeneponto. Ini juga menjadi salah satu alasan mengapa Kabupaten Jeneponto menjadi satu-satunya wilayah di Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan yang termasuk dalam kategori daerah tertinggal.Jika melihat kondisi fisik wilayah ini yang mempunyai topografi variatif dan tanah yang subur,semestinya wilayah ini memiliki nilai ekonomi yang potensial untuk pengembanganhutan,tanaman perkebunan,maupun pertanian tanaman pangan. Hasil penelitian sebelumnya adalah identifikasi kekeringan dengan menggunakan pendekatan hidrologis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif.Kemudian, memberikan arahan pemanfaatan ruang yang berbasis pada upaya pencegahan bencana kekeringan. Sehingga dalam penelitian lanjutan ini, tujuan yang akan dicapai adalah merancang konsep one river one plan dalam penataan DAS Binanga Lumbua secara komperehensif untuk mewujudkan pembangunan yang berkelanjutan. Analisis yang digunakan adalah berupa analisis spasial dan deskriptif kualitatif.Hasil penelitian ini berupa pemetaan konsep penataan DAS yang berbentuk site plan. The criticality of the Binanga Lumbua watershed is that it contributes to the decline in the income per capita of Jeneponto Regency. This is also one of the reasons why Jeneponto Regency is the only area in South Sulawesi Province that is included in the category of underdeveloped areas. Looking at the physical condition of this area which has a varied topography and fertile soil, this area should have potential economic value for the development of forestry, plantation crops, and food crop agriculture. The results of previous research were the identification of drought using a hydrological approach both qualitatively and quantitatively. Then, provide directions for spatial use based on drought prevention efforts. So that in this follow-up research, the goal to be achieved is to design a 'one river one plan concept' in the comprehensive arrangement of the Binanga Lumbua watershed to realize sustainable development. Throughput analysis of some mobile packet radio protocols in Rician fading Channels
The throughput of packet radio channels is investigated theoretically using the interference model in Rician fading environment. Three types of packet protocols are considered, namely: i) slotted ALOHA, ii) unslotted nonpersistent ISMA, and iii) slotted nonpersistent ISMA. Numerical results are presented, indicating the effect of propagation impairments on channel capacity.
