“Grude”: uma iguaria proveniente de peixes explotados no litoral amazônico para atendimento do mercado asiático
No full textThe term "grude" is used to designate the swim bladder of certain fish, which, after a cleaning and dehydration process, is supplied to the Asian market for various purposes, including human consumption. The objective of this study was to analyze the importance of "grude" in the context of Brazilian fishery exports and the revenue of one of the main commercial fisheries along the Amazonian coast. Consultations were conducted with financial agents who carry out rural credit operations for this activity, as well as interviews with technical professionals responsible for project development and with fishing fleet owners in the municipality of Bragança, state of Pará, who authorized the monitoring of vessel outfitting and their respective landings. Export data were obtained from the Brazilian Agribusiness Foreign Trade Statistics System (AGROSTAT), encompassing information on both national and state levels. Additionally, a survey of "grude" processing establishments was conducted through the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAPA). It was found that "grude" accounts for an estimated 70% of fishery revenue, making it the main product being commercialized. In landings, the proportion of yellow croaker and accompanying fauna, where whitemouth croaker represents almost the entirety, is approximately 60% and 40%, respectively. This fishing system would be economically unfeasible without the revenue generated from "grude," given the significant investment required in vessel outfitting. Regarding Brazilian fishery exports, the average volume for the analyzed period was 45.3±10 thousand tons, corresponding to US26.3 million. In all years, the state of Pará was the primary exporter of the product, with an average share of 95.1±4.8% in volume and 99±0.8% in value relative to the national total, followed by the state of Santa Catarina. The diagnosed scenario highlights the socioeconomic importance of "grude" in the Brazilian context, as well as the need for greater public attention to its production chain.O termo “grude” é empregado para designar a bexiga natatória de determinados peixes, que após um processo de limpeza e desidratação, atende ao mercado asiático para diversos fins, inclusive alimentação humana. O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar a importância da "grude" no contexto das exportações brasileiras de pescado e da receita de uma das principais pescarias comerciais praticadas no litoral amazônico. Realizou-se consulta à agentes financeiros que efetuam operações de crédito rural para esta atividade, entrevistas com responsáveis técnicos pela elaboração de projetos e com armadores de pesca do município de Bragança, estado do Pará, que autorizaram o acompanhamento da armação de embarcações e de seus respectivos desembarques. Os dados de exportação foram obtidos no Sistema de Estatística de Comércio Exterior do Agronegócio Brasileiro (AGROSTAT), contemplando informações nas escalas nacional e estadual. Posteriormente, efetuou-se um levantamento de estabelecimentos processadores de grude no Ministério da Agricultura e Pecuária (MAPA). Constatou-se que a “grude” possui uma participação na receita das pescarias estimada em 70%, ou seja, constituise no principal produto a ser comercializado. Nos desembarques, a proporção de pescada amarela e fauna acompanhante, onde a corvina representa quase a totalidade, é cerca de 60% e 40%, respectivamente. Este sistema de pesca seria inviável economicamente sem a receita proveniente da “grude”, dado o significativo investimento demandado na armação das embarcações. No que se refere à exportação brasileira de pescado, a média do período analisado foi de 45,3±10 mil toneladas, o correspondente a US26,3 milhões. Em todos os anos, o estado do Pará foi o principal responsável pela exportação do produto, com participação média de 95,1±4,8% no volume e 99±0,8% no valor em relação ao total nacional, seguido por Santa Catarina. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
