    This study was aimed to general study about the operation and management of building services in higher educational institution (UiTM) base on the maintenance aspects, operation and management, building services aspect and how the system function efficiency to the occupant. Recently, there are several cases that present situation of problem in higher education building from building user about the maintenance management work. The study is based on the maintenance management aspect and respondent information. In this study also, the main objectives is to generally study about the building services and its operation and management system of the building, and identify the maintenance practice of operation and management of building services.^The area of study is in Facilities management department of University Teknology Mara (UiTM) campus in Shah Alam (main campus), UiTM Jalan Othman Petaling Jaya and UiTM INTEC seksyen 17 and selected building user and more focus on Faculties buildings/academic buildings and Uitm administration buildings only. So this study will analyze and recommendation to improve the maintenance management system through the strategic planning for higher educational. In order to achieve the objectives identified, literature review was done, then the data was collected using questionnaires, the collected data was analyzed using SPSS analysis. Findings had shown that UiTM campus have their own maintenance management system but the condition of campus still at average level which means performance fall shorts of requirement expectation and need improvement due to improper maintenance practice. Hence, to improve the current maintenance management system for campus, strategic planning has been suggested in order to increase performance, to provide an effective maintenance management, provide control for maintenance activities, improve quality, cost effective satisfaction, and to optimize the maintenance processes

    The term Bedar (spelled "bedor" in Terengganu) refers to a wide range of boats on Malaysia's east coast that carry one or two junk sails and lack the typical prahu pinas transom stern. (Wikipedia Contributors, 2022). The shape of this type of boat sets it apart from other traditional vessels.Straight but high keels on the front and back have a piece of wood protruding out like a spoon or a duck's beak on either side.The back spoon has a longer handle than the front one. Boats come in a variety of sizes. Small and medium-sized boats used for fishing while large and medium-sized vessels for transported passengers or goods. They use paddles and sails to propel themselves. The original structure Bedar boat will be replaced by another material as a result of this project. Glass-reinforced plastic, also known as fibreglass, is being considered as a possible replacement for the boat's original material, Cengal wood, in an effort to reduce construction costs. Fishing boats, yachts and another small boats, have been built with fibreglass for decades, commonly known as FRP or GRP in the industry (Han et al., 2020) (Zawahid, 2003). For this boat's propulsion system design, there will be no more sails used at all. An outboard motor was chosen over a sailboat because of its greater efficiency and widespread use

    The hotel management is a profession that had been long existed for managing the operation hotels. Rarely, we heard about the hotel managed by university. In Malaysia, only a few hotel managed by university such UiTM hotel and UNITEN hotel. According to San T.K. (2005), the main purposes of hotel management is to ensure that the customer of hotel can enjoy their stay in the hotel with maximum comfort. So, to fulfil this purposes, the hotel management not only provide best service, but also provide good facilities which will be enjoyed by visitors. Therefore, facilities management are expected can be applied in hotel management. So, to prove the applicable of facilities management at hotel managed by university, the management perspective and understanding about this management had been important factor for determining it. This study is to identify the perspective from hotel management about facilities management at hotel managed by university. Beside, every hotel has provides various type of facilities. Not at all facilities provided by hotel get good satisfaction by visitor. Therefore, another objective is to determine the satisfaction level by visitors about the facilities provided at hotel managed by university. All objective for this study will be finding in an Effectiveness of Application Facilities Management at Hotel Managed By University.     The impact of heart rate towards archery performance / Ahmad Syafiq Azim Saeri

    Heart rate is one of the variable that indicates how well the performance in archery. The purpose of this study was to analyze the heart rate and accuracy performance of expert and novice archers in mock tournament, trying to verify if the experience contributes to a reduction in heart rate and increase the accuracy of archery performance. 30 UiTM Pahang archers participated in this study, 15 are expert and another 15 are novice. Before the experimental procedure starts, the participants were explained about the aim of the study. They were given 3 rounds of sighters (practice round not counted) and 2 rounds of scoring. The heart rates were taken immediately after the last arrow of the last round finished. The result shows an expert archers had a slightly lower heart rate, 116 bts min, in contrast with novice archers with heart rate of 122 bts min. Expert archers also shoot better with the mean of 107 points compared to novice archers with 103 points. It is possible the experience of archers contributes in lowering the heart rate and better accuracy performance in any situations

    Comparative evaluation of thermodynamic and thermoeconomic of steam superheaters / Ahmad Syafiq Haqim Sarip

    Since its operation in 2004, a medium pressure steam superheater has suffered erosioninduced tube failures, resulting in reduced active heating surface due to tube plugging. By 2017, the tube plugging problem prompted a decision to opt for replacement to prevent further deterioration which could impact operation. In 2021, a newly designed superheater was installed. This project identified the need to develop a structured engineering analysis towards identifying the effects of tube plugging as well as evaluating the operation of the new superheater relative to thermoeconomic optimization. The first objective is to investigate the impact of heating surface reduction on the first and second-law efficiencies of the steam superheaters. It includes the technoeconomic analysis of the superheaters operation relative to the boiler operation. The final objective is to investigate the effect of superheater efficiencies on downstream equipment which is the air preheater for combustion air to boiler. Data from the original superheater at 2014 and 2017 were gathered from the system database and the installation of a new superheater in 2021 enables a direct performance comparison between the old and new units. The research approach is through empirical analysis of data using the principles of thermodynamics and thermoeconomics. At the design steam flow rate of 80 tonne per hour, the old superheater in 2014 registered higher efficiencies by 7.7% for energy and 7% for exergy compared to the condition in 2017 due to deactivation of tubes. The new superheater was analysed with 61.5% energy and 47.2% exergy efficiencies, which is surprisingly lower than the 2014 old superheater by 6.4% and 3.7% respectively. Results of exergoeconomic analysis show that the energy cost for steam production of the new superheater is RM485.7/kJ compared to RM196.024/kJ (2014) and RM251.049/kJ (2017). Both results indicate that the new superheater is not operating optimally as it is operated in a similar setting with the old superheater. Temperature of the flue gas exiting the medium pressure superheater was noticeably lower after the superheater was redesigned and installed compared to previous superheater. This affected subsequent air preheater in the waste heat recovery system for combustion air to auxiliary boilers. As a result, the average total exergy of the auxiliary boiler in year 2021 after superheater replacement is lower by 6.77% to 7.24% compared to the previous superheater. In summary, tube deactivation impacts thermodynamic efficiencies. Augmenting heating surface area doesn't directly boost energy and exergy efficiencies. Thermoeconomic analysis indicates the new superheater requires three more years to lower heating costs compared to the old one. Alterations in superheater operation influence the performance of other system components like the air preheater and boiler in the waste heat recovery system

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan algoritma K-Means dalam proses penentuan jurusan bagi siswa kelas X di SMAN 1 Porong. Dengan total siswa sekitar 192, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi dalam proses penjurusan yang masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga memakan waktu dan kurang efesien. Algoritma K-Means digunakan untuk mengelompokkan siswa berdasarkan nilai akademik diberbagai mata pelajaran, termasuk Matematika, Fisika, Biologi, Kimia, Sejarah, Geografi, Ekonomi, dan Sosiologi. Metode ini diharapkan dapat memberikan rekomendasi jurusan yang lebih tepat dan sesuai sesuai minat serta kemampuan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang memiliki nilai tinggi di bidang sains lebih cenderung cocok untuk jurusan IPA, sementara siswa dengan nilai tinggi di bidang sosial lebih sesuai untuk jurusan IPS. Oleh karena itu, penerapan algoritma K-Means tidak hanya meningkatkan efesiensi dalam penentuan jurusan, tetapi juga membantu siswa dalam membuat keputusan lebih baik untuk masa depan akademik mereka

    Oil palm has surpassed all business vegetable oil trims on the planet in oil generation. The key to the prosperity of oil palm in maintaining its profitability and supportability is because of good manure and sustenance administration. This review was carried out to examine the effectiveness between liquid and solid fertilizer in nursery towards the growth of oil palm. Fertilizer in form of solid and liquid is one of the best agricultural methods since it enhances fertility of soil and gives supplement to the oil palm tree. Through years of decades, good fertilizer and nutrition management of oil palm have become the priority and are continuously applied in all oil palm plantations throughout the world. However, the use of both sorts of manures in some cases can build the cost, prompt to contamination and diminish the compelling and effectiveness of compost application. Results show that liquid fertilizer is better for growth of oil palm seedling while solid fertilizer is more suitable in providing nutrient for oil palm’s productivity. Ultimately, the best fertilizer application is the combination of liquid fertilizer along with solid fertilizer because it will provide more benefit for the productivity of oil palm

Through this project of Real Time Strategy Robotic Game, the students will be attracted to play and joined this games. As is well known, the lack of physical activity participation among the students and letting the student use any gadget that is not healthy and make them fat and overweight. Therefore, the problem about the student to improve their physical and intellectual development in critical thinking had produced an idea to create Real Time Strategy Robotic Games. So for this project requires the construction of two self-contained remote controlled robot that can endure these obstacles yet fast enough to complete the objectives. There are two players in one team. To accomplish that, the players must devise their strategies to ensure victory. The cars have to hit all the three gates to win the game.
