Distribution of Idanthyrsus cretus(Polychaeta:Sabellariidae) in the Tropical Eastern Pacific and application of PCR-RAPD for population analysis.
No full textSabellariid polychaetes, commonly known as honeycomb worms, are capable of forming large reef-like aggregations. One species, Idanthyrsus cretus, has recently been found in several localities during surveys of Las Perlas Archipelago, Pacific Panama. Large reefs of this species have not been recorded elsewhere in the Tropical Eastern Pacific. The reef distribution patterns were examined and mapped with the aid of Geographical Information Systems. Principal Component Analysis showed that the distribution of polychaete reefs in Las Perlas Archipelago and the reef building itself seem to be mainly dependent on depth, suitable substrate, and topography,the potential particle size for tube building, and wave exposure. Cluster analysis of Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA with Polymerase Chain Reaction molecular techniques demonstrated that the polychaete reefs in Las Perlas Archipelago may be derived from one population

Comercio de lujo encargado en última instancia de su venta al por menor a los margaritarii , o vendedores de perlas. Para un mayor conocimiento de estos personajes hemos realizado un estudio sobre la epigrafía lapidaria referida a ellos en Roma. No full textUna mujer de 19 años de edad asiste a la consulta odontológica con indicación de exodoncia del diente 1.8. Luego del acto quirúrgico se examinó el diente y se observó la presencia de dos perlas del esmalte a nivel radicular.
Las perlas de esmalte son una anomalía del desarrollo dental, que se presentan como glóbulos ectópicos de esmalte en la superficie radicular. La prevalencia media de perlas de esmalte es 2,69%; teniendo predilección por los molares y rara vez se asocian con premolares, caninos o incisivos. La teoría sugiere que se desarrollan debido a presencia de remanentes de la vaina epitelial radicular (de Hertwig). Adquieren real relevancia debido a su asociación como factor retentivo de placa subgingival y a enfermedad periodontal localizada.Publicada en la categoría "Imagénes en Odontología Clínica" de la revista Mouth. Improving human resource management: the case of UAB PERLAS
No full textOrganizacijos, kurios yra pasitvirtinusios žmogiškųjų išteklių valdymo tobulinimo metodikas, gali identifikuoti ir laiku pašalinti valdymo spragas, kas suteiktų galimybę turėti efektyvių, apmokytų darbuotojų komandą. Šiame darbe nagrinėjama problema – kaip patobulinti žmogiškųjų išteklių valdymą. Tyrimo objektas - žmogiškųjų išteklių valdymas UAB „PERLAS“ organizacijoje.
Tyrimo tikslas: pateikti projektinius sprendimus žmogiškųjų išteklių valdymo tobulinimui UAB „PERLAS“ organizacijoje. Tyrimo metodai – siekiant išsiaiškinti žmogiškųjų išteklių sampratas ir valdymo funkcijas atlikta mokslinės literatūros analizė, palygintos skirtingos žmogiškųjų išteklių valdymo tobulinimo metodikos; anketinė apklausa sudaryta remiantis R.F. Poell ir F.J Krogt (2014) ir B. Akinyemi (2011) tyrimuose naudota žmogiškųjų išteklių plėtros (angl. Human Resource Development – HRD) vertinimo metodika, gauti rezultatai buvo apdorojami naudojant „MS Word“, MS „Excel“ ir IBM SPSS 22 programas. Kiekybinis tyrimas buvo atliktas 2020 metų spalio – lapkričio mėnesiais. Tyrimo imtį sudarė 80 darbuotojų UAB „PERLAS“ organizacijos darbuotojų.
Tyrimo rezultatai parodė, kad UAB „PERLAS“ įmonė turi suvokimą ir žino ŽI valdymo svarbą, tačiau neturi nusistačiusi žmogiškųjų išteklių valdymo tobulinimo gairių ir priemonių, valdymas yra vidutinio lygmens. Tyrimo išvados: reikalingas tobulinimas visose trijose ŽI valdymo srityse.Organizations that implement human resource management improvement methods are able to identify and address management drawbacks in a timely manner, which results in a team of effective and professional employees. This thesis examines the problem of how to improve human resource management. The object of the research is human resource management in the organization of UAB PERLAS. The aim of the thesis: to provide project solutions for the improvement of human resource management at UAB PERLAS. The following methods were applied: in order to identify the concepts of human resources and management functions, an analysis of the theoretical literature was performed, and different methodologies for improving human resource management were compared; an employee survey completed in a questionnaire form, based on Human Resource Development (HRD) assessment methodology by R.F. Poell and FJ Krogt (2014) and B. Akinyemi (2011). The obtained results were processed using MS Word, MS Excel and IBM SPSS 22 programs. The quantitative research was conducted during the period of October-November 2020. The scope of the research consisted of 80 employees of UAB PERLAS. The results of the research showed that UAB PERLAS has a clear understanding and realizes the importance of HR management; however, does not have established guidelines and tools for improving human resource management; therefore, human resource management is at an average level at UAB PERLAS.
