Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh adanya degradasi karakter yang terjadi saat ini salah satunya karakter religius pada siswa Sekolah Dasar. Karakter religius penting ditanamkan sejak dini untuk membentuk dan memperbaiki karakter anak. Program Sekolah Mengaji merupakan kebijakan Pemerintah Kabupaten Bandung yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan karakter religius sekaligus sebagai wadah pembinaan karakter religius siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perencanaan, proses pelaksanaan, evaluasi, dan kendala serta solusi yang dilakukan guru ngaji pada pembinaan karakter religius melalui program Sekolah Mengaji. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) Perencanaan pembelajaran dalam program Sekolah Mengaji yang dibuat guru ngaji telah memuat pendidikan karakter meskipun masih ada beberapa kekurangan dalam membuat perencanaan; (2) proses pelaksanaan program Sekolah Mengaji yang dilakukan guru ngaji berjalan sesuai dengan tujuan untuk membina dan membentuk karakter religius siswa; (3) evaluasi yang dilakukan guru ngaji belum cukup baik karena hanya mencakup ranah kognitif dan ranah afektif saja belum mencakup ranah psikomotorik; (4) guru ngaji mampu menganalisis kendala dalam program Sekolah Mengaji dan guru ngaji mempunyai beberapa solusi dalam mengatasi kendala pada setiap pelaksanaan program Sekolah Mengaji dengan cara yang tepat.

RELIGIOUS CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS THROUGH THE QUR’AN READING PROGRAMS

This research is motivated by the character degradation that is happening at this time, one of which is the religious character of elementary school students. Important religious characteristics are instilled early in molding and enhancing a child's character. The Qur’an Reading Program is a Bandung Regency Government policy that aims to improve religious character as well as a forum for fostering students' religious character. This study aims to determine the planning, implementation process, evaluation, and constraints as well as solutions carried out by religious teachers in fostering religious character through the Studying School program. The method used in this research is a case study with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that (1) the learning planning of the proposed qur’an reading program has included character education although there are still some gaps in planning; (2) the process of performing the qur’an reading program done by ustadz or ustadzah runs according to the purpose of encouraging and shaping the student’s religious character; (3) an evaluation by ustadz or ustadzah is not good enough because includes only cognitive and affective domains; (4) ustadz or ustadzah are able to analyze the challenges of the qur’an reading program, and teacher have several solution ti ivercome the obstacles to every proper performance of the qur’an reading program.

English Borrowing in Indonesian Language Spoken by Indonesian Teenagers in Junior High School
This study looks specifically at the borrowing words phenomenon among teenagers in one junior high school in Bandung. The borrowing words phenomenon being inverstigated in this study included the types of borrowing words, phonological process, the most dominant part of speech in borrowing words and some possible factors for borrowing to occur. The data were taken from 18 teenagers from three different grades. The seventh grade consists of six teenagers (11-12 years old), eighth grade consists of six teenagers (12-13 years old) and ninth grade consists of six teenagers (13-14 years old). The data were analyzed in a descriptive qualitative method by using the theories from Hoffer (2005), Campbell (1998), Field (2002) and Thomas (1993). The findings showed that the most frequent type of borrowing in all grades is loanword. In terms of phonological processes, the most frequent sound change occurs in the borrowing is Monophthongisation. With regard to parts of speech, noun appears as the dominant part of speech in the borrowing words. Four possible factors that cause borrowing words in teenagers are due to the frequency in using borrowing words, the number of speakers around the respondents, the habitual of expressing the English words and the low competence of the speakers. In conclusion, it seems apparent that borrowing words in this context udergo many phonological adaptations.Keywords: borrowing words, loanword, sound change, factors of borrowing word

Abstrak: Penelitian ini meneliti fenomena kata serapan (borrowing) yang terdapat di remaja Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Data untuk penelitian ini diperoleh dari 18 siswa remaja dari tiga kelas yang berbeda. Kelas tujuh terdiri dari enam siswa remaja (berusia 11-12 tahun), kelas delapan terdiri dari enam siswa remaja (12-13 tahun), dan kelas Sembilan terdiri dari enam siswa remaja pula (13-14 tahun). Data tersebut dianalisis dalam kerangka metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan teori yang diformulasikan oleh Hoffer (2005), Campbell (1998), Field (2002), dan Thomas (1993). Hasil peneilitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tipe borrowing yang paling sering muncul di semua kelas ialah loanword. Dalam kaitannya dengan proses fonologis, perubahan bunyi (sound change) yang paling sering muncul dalam kata serapan tersebut ialah monopthingisation. Dalam kelas kata, kata benda merupakan kelas kata yang paling dominan dalam kata serapan yang muncul. Kesimpulannya, terlihat jelas bahwa kata serapan mengalami banyak adaptasi fonologis.

TEACHING ENGLISH VOCABULARY USING PICTURE IN EIGHTH GRADE OF JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL
This research focused with teaching English vocabulary using picture in eight grade of junior high school. This research explores the implementation of English vocabulary and to find out the score improvement in using picture in learning process. The objective of this research is to find out the effectiveness of picture in improving students’ vocabulary. Data collection technique focus on pretest and posttest. Picture is a good media to make everything like real and can visualize to the lesson environtment.  The means score of pretest was 42.33 and the posttest get improve to 76.50. It could also be concuded that teaching English vocabulary using picture was effective media to improve students’ vocabulary
EFEKTIFITAS KLOROKUIN TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN PLASMODIUM FALCIPARUM RADIASI SECARA IN VITRO
EFEKTIFITAS KLOROKUIN TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN Plasmodium falciparum RADlASI SECARA IN VITRO. Dalam uji coba bahan vaksin malaria untuk mencegah relawan dari penyakit malaria maka digunakan chemoprophylaxis yang dikombinasikan dengan bahan vaksin yang akan diteliti. Klorokuin merupakan antimalaria yang umum digunakan sebagai chemoprophylaxis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas klorokuin terhadap pertumbuhan P. falciparum 3D7 radiasi. Pengujian Efektivitas klorokuin dilakukan dengan mengencerkan larutan stok 100 µg/ml sebesar 10-4, 10-5, 10-6, 10-7, 10-8 dan 10-9 . Masing-masing pengenceran dimasukkan ke dalam 40 µI suspensi sel darah merah terinfeksi parasit P. falciparum radiasi maupun yang tidak diradiasi dan diinkubasi pada 37°C. Jumlah parasit yang bertahan hidup dihitung setiap hari selama 7 hari melalui apusan tipis. Penambahan klorokuin pada parasit yang diradiasi memberikan respon menekan pertumbuhan parasit terjadi penurunan parasitemia pada semua pengenceran dan pada hari ke-5 parasit pada semua perlakuan mati. Pada parasit yang tidak diradiasi hanya pada pengenceran klorokuin 10-4 yang dapat menekan pertumbuhan parasit sehingga parasit mati pada hari ke-4. Pada pengenceran klorokuin yang lain, parasit tetap hidup hingga hari ke-7. Dapat disimpulkan klorokuin efektif dalam menekan pertumbuhan parasit radiasi.
Pengaruh Pelatihan Berpikir Positif Terhadap Kecenderungan Kecemasan Pada Pegawai Negeri Sipil Pemerintah Kota Tegal Menjelang Masa Pensiun
Anxiety is an unsuitable or unpleasant situation characterized by concerns and fears that occur in the individual with many regrets that can make it as a threat or difficulty that will occur in the future. This study aims to determine the effect of positive thinking training in reducing anxiety on Goverment Employee ahead of retirement. The subjects of this study were 27 people selected by purposive sampling, the determination of research informants based on predetermined characteristics of Goverment Employee who will retire period August 2018 - October 2018. This research method using pre-experiment One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design . The results of this study were analyzed using Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test obtained Z value of -3.863 with a significance level of 0.000 (p <0.01) which means there is a very significant mean difference in anxiety levels before and after the training of positive thinking Goverment Employee anxiety is lower after having positive thinking training. Meaning positive thinking training can lower anxiety levels.

Genetic Algorithm for Optimizing Food Composition for Hypertension Patients
Hypertension can be prevented and handled by eating nutritious foods with the right composition. The genetic algorithm can be used to optimize the food composition for people with hypertension. Data used include sex, age, weight, height, activity type, stress level, and patient hypertension level. This study uses a reproduction method that is good enough to be applied to integer chromosome representations so that the search results provided are not local optimum solutions. The testing results show that the best genetic algorithm parameters are as follows population size is 15 with average fitness 20.97, the generation number is 40 with average fitness 50.10, and combination crossover rate and mutation rate are 0.3 and 0.7 with average fitness 41.67. The solution obtained is the optimal food composition for people with hypertension
Quality Characteristics of Sourdough Bread with The Addition of Water Yest and Wheat-Mocaf Flours Combination
Sourdough bread embraces health benefits due to the fermentation process carried out in the manufacturing process. The quality of sourdough bread is influenced by the specific microbes (yeast) that develop in the sourdough and the type of flour. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the type of fruit water yeast and the combination of wheat flour and mocaf could affect the quality of sourdough bread. The research design used was a factorial, completely randomized design with two factors and three replications. Water yeast from apple and salaca fruits as the first factors, and the second factor is a combination of wheat flour and mocaf as much as (100:0), (80:20), and (60:40). Physico-chemical and organoleptic characteristics were observed in the study. ANOVA and DMRT further tests were used for data analysis. Research shows the type of fruit water yeast can affect the moisture and carbohydrate content of sourdough bread. The combination of wheat flour and mocaf has a significant effect on the physical (hardness), chemical (content of water, ash, fat, protein, and carbohydrates), and organoleptic qualities (colour and the hedonic quality of texture) The combination of wheat flour and mocaf as much as 60:40 is a combination that produces sourdough bread of the highest quality
Pengabdian pada Masyarakat: Trainer Board Mikrokontroler Berbasis Arduino sebagai Media Pembelajaran di Jurusan Teknik Elektronika SMK Negeri 2 Pamekasan
Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) adalah instansi pendidikan formal yang bertujuan untuk dapat mencetak siswa sebagai sumberdaya yang dapat bersaing di dalam bidang keahlian tertentu. Diharapkan dengan adanya SMK dapat mencetak sumberdaya manusia yang siap memasuki dunia kerja atau dunia industri bahkan dunia usaha yang produktif dan dapat menjawab tantangan Revolusi Industri 4.0. Dengan adanya harapan dan tujuan tersebut diharapkan SMK di Indonesia dapat membekali para siswanya untuk memiliki kompetensi yang sesuai dengan jurusan masing-masing sesuai kebutuhan industri. Untuk menumbuhkan serta meningkatkan kompetensi yang dimiliki oleh siswa di SMK, dibutuhkan kegiatan pembelajaran yang optimal. Sebagai sekolah kejuruan, SMK diharapkan memiliki media-media pembelajaran yang lengkap untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pembelajaran dalam mengembangkan dan meningkatkan kompetensi siswa. Sebagai contoh, untuk mencetak sumberdaya yang dapat bersaing di dunia teknologi elektronik, robotika dan otomasi, diharapkan setiap sekolah memiliki media pembelajaran yang lengkap dalam menunjang kegiatan pembelajaran. Salah satu contoh media pembelajaran untuk menunjang kegiatan pembelajaran di bidang elektronik, robotika dan otomasi adalah trainer mikrokontroler berbasis Arduino. Media ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan dan mengembangkan kompetensi serta kemampuan berbpikir kritis siswa dalam dunia industri. Melalui pengabdian masyarakat ini telah dibuat 6 unit trainer mikrokontroler berbasis Arduino sebagai media pembelajaran untuk menunjang kegiatan pembelajaran di Jurusan Teknik Elektronika SMK Negeri 2 Pamekasan.
Community Service: Arduino Based Microcontroller Trainer Board as Learning Media in Department of Electronics Engineering State Vocational High School 2 Pamekasan
Vocational High School (SMK) is a formal educational institution that aims to produce students as resources who can compete in certain areas of expertise. It is hoped that the existence of Vocational High Schools can produce human resources who are ready to enter the world of work or the industrial world and even the productive business world and can answer the challenges of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. With these hopes and objectives, it is hoped that Vocational Schools in Indonesia can equip their students to have competencies that are in accordance with their respective majors according to industry needs. To grow and improve the competencies possessed by students in SMK, optimal learning activities are needed. As a vocational school, SMK is expected to have complete learning media to meet learning needs in developing and improving student competencies. For example, to print resources that can compete in the world of electronic technology, robotics and automation, it is hoped that every school has complete learning media to support learning activities. One example of learning media to support learning activities in the fields of electronics, robotics and automation is an Arduino-based microcontroller trainer. This media is expected to improve and develop students' competence and critical thinking skills in the industrial world. Through this community service, 6 Arduino-based microcontroller trainer units have been created as learning media to support learning activities in the Department of Electronics Engineering at SMK Negeri 2 Pamekasan
Peningkatan Pengetahuan Dengan Kesadaran Diri Terhadap Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS)
Until now, public health problems are still a concern. for the government. Public awareness of the importance of health is still low. The level of public health is uneven and very low, especially in people living in slum settlements. Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) is a health behavior carried out with awareness, so that a person can improve their health status. Community behavior that is still unhygienic, coupled with the absence of supporting environmental facilities and infrastructure, has an impact on the health of people living in these slum settlements. Many public health problems may arise due to people's behavior and environmental conditions that do not pay attention to health. The problems found in the Silaberanti sub-district, especially in RT 26, 41 and 42, are a lack of public awareness of clean and healthy living behavior, this can be seen from an unclean environment and improper disposal of rubbish. The solution used to overcome this problem is by increasing awareness community through outreach activities about clean and healthy living behavior and working together to clean the surrounding environment. The results of this activity have a positive impact on society by providing good understanding 90% thereby increasing self-awareness of clean and healthy living behavior
