Quels dispositifs de cessation d’activité pour les personnes en mauvaise santé ?
No full textNational audienceLa sortie précoce d'activité peut être expliquée par un état de santé dégradé. Dans certains pays, les personnes en mauvaise santé demandent principale-ment des pensions d'invalidité pour sortir du marché du travail. En France, de nom-breuses modalités de sortie peuvent être utilisées : préretraites, dispense de recher-che d'emploi, pensions d'invalidité… La Direction de la recherche, des études, de l'évaluation et des statistiques du ministère de la Santé (DREES) a sollicité l'IRDES pour réaliser une étude portant sur les modalités d'accès à la retraite pour raison de santé afin d'identifier les dispositifs utilisés par les personnes en mauvaise santé pour cesser leur activité. Pour répondre à cette question, nous utilisons des données administratives et des données d'enquêtes (l'enquête décennale santé 2002-2003 de l'Insee et l'enquête Share 2004). Les pensions d'invalidité constituent le principal dispositif dédié à la cessation d'activité pour raison de santé : un peu plus de 510 000 personnes de plus de 50 ans en bénéficient fin 2004. Ce mode de sortie anticipée de l'emploi semble toutefois moins fréquent en France que dans d'autres pays d'Europe notam-ment au Royaume-Uni et en Suède. Pourtant, une santé dégradée joue autant en France qu'ailleurs sur la probabilité de cesser son activité. Cette situation est en partie due à l'existence en France de mesures de politique de l'emploi ou du chômage indemnisé dont bénéficient aussi certaines personnes ayant des problèmes de santé

The Case of John Drees-- Decision of
Justice Glassick
Mr. F. Glassick justice of the peace at
Argenta, before whom Mr. John Drees of
the city was brought on a charge of
violating the civil rights act, discharged
defendant, as was mentioned in yester-
day's paper. The reasons assigned by
the justice for this are thus given:
First-- That an absolute refusal did not
take place. The testimony went to show
that Johannessen and the negro Robin-
son went into the saloon and asked for
drinks, and a boy who was behind the
counter asked them to step to the other
side of the ice-box. The justice says it
was not shown that there were one
or two counters; that Johannessen
called for different drinks from that of
Robinson, and the justice could
not tell whether whisky was sold over one
counter and ber over another. They
were not asked to go to another room, or
out of the room, nor were they refused
drinks, and consequently the justice holds
that the civil rights act was not violated.
Second-- No money was tendered for
the drinks, an absolute requisite under
the civil rights bill in order to make out
the case.
For these reasons defendant was dis-
charged

The editorial transition announced in the June 2018 issue is now complete: the incoming editor (Arthur Petersen) took responsibility for the evaluation of new submissions in June, and the coordination of the entire editorial process (including planning for future issues and overseeing the production process) came into his hands in September. During the transition period, the outgoing editor (Willem Drees) gently handed over and advised on all aspects of editing the journal. In this editorial, Petersen first outlines a direction in which he plans to take the journal; subsequently, Drees introduces his final issue

No full textInternational audienceLa question des aides matérielles et financières apportées par la famille aux jeunes adultes est devenue un axe de recherche central dans les années 1990, l'évaluation la plus précise possible des aides parentales étant un enjeu important pour les politiques publiques. Pourtant, le recensement fin des aides apportées pose des difficultés méthodologiques. L'exploitation secondaire de l'Enquête qualitative sur les ressources des jeunes réalisée en 2013 (DREES-CRÉDOC) montre les réticences dont peuvent témoigner certains parents à évaluer le coût de leur enfant. Certains refusent ainsi la logique comptable. D'autres ont intégré cette injonction à aider leurs enfants et formulent des réponses du registre de l'évidence. Enfin, « le soutien moral » est souvent mobilisé comme une valeur refuge quand on ne souhaite pas véritablement compter, notamment par peur du jugement de l'enquêteur et de la société. Ces réticences amènent à questionner le sens que les parents donnent au soutien matériel et financier apporté aux jeunes adultes. Pour eux, le besoin, le mérite, l'égalité au sein de la fratrie, le contexte économique ou l'histoire familiale sont autant de « raisons » qui motivent l'aide parentale

However, global circulation is only one side of a more complex process: entering another nation, each product changes to be easily understood by a different audience. Several production and distribution routines, as dubbing and scheduling, influence the satirical program and its receptions, and lead to a number of modifications that often limits the ambiguity of comedy. of irony need to be reconstructed, or at least explained. The chapter focuses on the adaptations and transformations of satirical jokes and references to politics, sex and religion in the Italian dubbed version of some US TV sitcoms
