    Den 28.4.2017 ble det sendt inn en byggesøknad som involverte inngrep i gårdshaugen med id. 9254 på Knaplund nordre. Utbygger var Liv Jenny Knaplund, tiltakshaver var Riksantikvaren. Denne ble mottatt av Bodø kommune 02.05.2017 og senere supplert og korrigert. 29.8.2017 gjennomførte Nordland fylkeskommune en befaring med prøvestikking i de berørte områdene

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed.     Variations on the Author

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.     Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

    We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods

    Study of the decarburization of 9254 steel used in the manufacture of helical springs

    Existem muitas aplicações em engenharia onde são requeridos materiais que apresentem boas propriedades mecânicas, tais como, resistência mecânica, alto limite de escoamento, dureza, aliado ao atendimento às necessidades do cliente. Na indústria automotiva, todos os componentes são projetados de modo a pensar na performance do veículo e na segurança dos passageiros. Um desses componentes são as molas helicoidais, que possuem a função, na suspensão, de absorver os impactos causados pelas irregularidades do piso, suportar o peso e conferir a altura do veículo. O aço empregado na fabricação dessas molas é o SAE 9254, que apresenta em sua composição altos teores de Si e Cr, que conferem ao material as propriedades necessárias para o seu melhor desempenho, porém, o alto teor de Si e Cr favorece a descarbonetação prejudicando dentro outras propriedades mecânicas, a dureza superficial. Este trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar como a descarbonetação afeta a qualidade e o desempenho do aço SAE 9254. O material de estudo foi o fio máquina de bitola de 13 mm. Alinhado com os parâmetros de processo relevantes para a formação da descarbonetação, foi realizado a análise da composição química, caracterização microestrutural, caracterização da descarbonetação e ensaio de dureza, de modo a relacionar o tipo de descarbonetação encontrada com os valores de dureza obtidos em três ordens de produção (OP) diferentes. Os testes indicaram que a temperatura de aquecimento e o tempo de permanência da peça na temperatura afetam a descarbonetação.Theeres are many engineering applications that materials with good mechanical properties are required, such as mechanical strength, high yield strength, hardness and comply with customer’s needs. Regarding the automotive industry, all components are designed aiming vehicle performance and passenger safety. One of these components are the helical springs that have the functionof absorbing the impacts caused by the irregularities of the floor, supporting the weight and checking the height of the vehicle. The steel used in the manufacture of these springs is SAE 9254 that has high levels of Si and Cr in its composition ensuring the necessary properties for its best performance. However, the high content of Si and Cr favors decarburization, harming r the mechanical properties, as hardness. This work aimed to evaluate how decarburization affects the quality and performance of SAE 9254 steel. The material studied was awire rod with 13mm of diameter. Studying the relevant process parameters for the formation of decarburization, it were analyzed the chemical composition, the microstructural characterization, the characterization of decarburization and hardness test in order to relate the type of decarburization founded with the hardness values obtained in differents production order (OP). These bars are used in the automotive industry for the manufacture of coil springs, which make up the system damping of several vehicles. The wire drawing process consists of the steps of pre-straightening, shot peening, drawing, cutting and polishing. The study aims to search for the configuration of process variables, which present the best result with respect to bending. To this were maintained settings prestraightening and mechanical stripping and varied angles and stringer polish being studied to replace the spinneret with a working angle, for a string with two working angles. To assist in the analysis of the results was the tool used DOE Software Minitab, which assesses the variation in results according to each parameter and the interaction parameters. It was thus possible to determine the best condition for wire drawingNo presente trabalho estuda-se o processo de fabricação de barras trefiladas do aço 9254, a partir de fio máquina laminado. Estas barras são utilizadas na indústria automotiva para fabricação de molas helicoidais, que compõe o sistema de amortecimento de diversos veículos. O processo de trefilação é composto pelas etapas de pré-endireitamento, decapagem mecânica, trefilação, corte e polimento. O estudo tem como objetivo a busca pela configuração das variáveis de processo, que apresentam o melhor resultado com relação a empeno. Para isso foram mantidas as configurações de pré-endireitamento e decapagem mecânica e variados ângulos da polideira e a fieira, sendo estudada a substituição da fieira com um ângulo de trabalho, por uma fieira com dois ângulos de trabalho.
