No full textTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui konsep pendidikan akhlak dalam kitab Riyāduşşālihῑn yang ditulis oleh Syāikh Abu Zakariā Muhyuddῑn An-Nawāwῑ. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode library reserch atau penulisan berdasarkan literature dan metode studi dekomentasi. Studi dokumentasi merupakan kajian yang menitik beratkan pada analisis atau interpretasi bahan tertulis berdasarkan konteks, yaitu menggunakan sumber primer berupa kitab Riyāduşşālihῑn dan buku sekunder yang menjadi pendukung dalam penelitian ini, informasi yang terdapat diperpustakaan dan informasi lainnya, Dalam analisis data menggunakan analisis isi (conten analysis), merupakan cara yang digunakan untuk menarik kesimpulan melalui usaha menemukan kandungan isi pesan yang dilakukan dengan objektif dan sistematis agar mendapatkan formulasi yang kongkrit dan memadai sehingga dapat menjadi kesimpulan yang menjawab rumusan masalah. Prosedur penelitiannya yaitu: peneliti mencari kitab Riyāduşşālihῑn yang ditulis oleh Syāikh Abu Zakariā Muhyuddῑn An-Nawāwῑ kemudian membacanya dan menemukan poin-poin terpenting tentang akhlak, selanjutnya, dan terakhir, peneliti menelaahnya untuk menjawab permasalahan yang dibahas, yakni mengenai konsep pendidikan akhlak terhadap diri sendiri dan akhlak terhadap masyarakat dalam kitab Riyāduşşālihῑn karya Syāikh Abu Zakariā Muhyuddῑn An-Nawāwῑ Penelitian ini berusaha menjawab pertanyaan. Bagaimana konsep pendidikan akhlak terhadap diri sendiri dan akhlak terhadap masyarakat dalam kitab Riyāduşşālihῑn karya Syāikh Abu Zakariā Muhyuddῑn An-Nawāwῑ ? Melalui analisis induktif dihasilkan beberapa poin. Pertama, Akhlak kepada diri sendiri, dalam pembahasan akhlak kepada diri sendiri penulis membahas akhlak yaitu: Mendidik anak agar tidak bercanda ketika makan dan mengucapkan Basmallah, makan dengan menggunakan tangan kanan, mendidik anak agar dalam pembicaraannya terdapat kebaikan, mendidik anak ketika berpakaian memakai pakaian yang sederhana, mendidik anak ketika tidur dan bangun tidur selalu mengingat Allah, mendidik anak ketika bertemu mengucapkan salam, berprilaku jujur, mendidik anak ketika dipercaya agar bersikap. Kedua, pada penelitian ini, Akhlak dalam bermasyarakat penulis membahas poin-poin akhlak yaitu : Mendidik anak agar menjaga sopan santun dalam perkumpulan, mendidik anak untuk meninggalkan perdebatan yang bersifat Mudharat, ketika memberi teguran berikan teguran yang bersifat motivasi, ketika memberi nasihat ia juga harus melakukannya, ketika bertemu dengan saudara semuslim dengan berwajah ceria dan mengucapkan salam. Banyak pembelajaran yang dapat diambil dari kitab tersebut, terlebih mengenai bagaimana pendidikan akhlak terhadap diri sendiri dan masyarakat, sehingga seseorang memiliki akhlak yang baik atau dapat dikatakan dengan akhlakul karimah. Kitab Riyāduşşālihῑn dapat dijadikan rujukan bagi peserta didik atau pendidik dan umat muslim pada umumnya dalam pendidikan akhlak

Anti-obesity properties of the strain <i>Bifidobacterium animalis</i> subsp. <i>lactis</i> CECT 8145 in Zücker fatty rats
No full text We evaluated the effect of oral administration of Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis CECT 8145 strain in Zücker fatty rats. The Zücker fatty rats were randomly divided into two groups (n=10 each) and administered either B. animalis subsp. lactis CECT 8145 (1010 cfu/day) suspended in skim milk, or skim milk alone (control group). Each treatment was administered in drinking bottles from week 5 until week 17 of age. A lean Zücker rat group (standard group) was included to provide normal values for the Zücker strain. This group was administered skim milk in the drinking bottle for the same experimental period as Zücker fatty rats. Body weight gain was greater in the fatty control group than in the fatty rats treated daily with B. animalis subsp. lactis CECT 8145. Furthermore, dry and liquid food intake significantly decreased in the treated Zücker fatty group and these rats also showed decreased plasma ghrelin levels as compared with the Zücker fatty control group. B. animalis subsp. lactis CECT 8145 intake also decreased plasma tumour necrosis factor-α (a proinflammatory cytokine) and plasma malondialdehyde (a biomarker of oxidative stress). Moreover, the ratio plasma total cholesterol/plasma cholesterol transported by high-density lipoproteins, considered as an index for cardiovascular disease, also significantly decreased in the Zücker fatty rats treated with B. animalis subsp. lactis CECT 8145. By contrast, this bacterial strain significantly increased plasma adiponectin (an insulin-sensitising adipokine), but did not produce significant effects on triglyceride levels or glucose metabolism biomarkers. Although further research is required to confirm B. animalis subsp. lactis CECT 8145 is an efficient anti-obesity treatment in humans, the results obtained in this study are promising and point to the health and anti-obesity properties of this bacterial strain. </jats:p

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
No full textThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

No full text“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
No full textWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
