The purpose of this study was to identify the connection between leadership skills and the role of tutors at Educational Center "7260" in Pachacamac in 2020.
The study adopted an applied quantitative methodology, with a non-experimental cross-sectional and correlational design, considering two variables under analysis. The selected sample consisted of 15 teachers of both genders, with no age restrictions, who are members of Educational Institution "7260".
A survey was chosen as the method to collect data on leadership skills and the role of teachers, using a questionnaire as a tool for both variables. This measurement object was evaluated for its content validity through the opinions of three experts, achieving applicable results. Furthermore, the reliability of the instruments was verified using Cronbach's alpha test, where coefficients of 0.817 were obtained for the work environment and 0.858 for the tutor's performance. Due to the remarkably high reliability, the research findings revealed a significant correlation between the leading domain and the teaching role. Cuya finalidad de estudio fue identificar la conexión entre el dominio dirigente y la función de los tutores en la Centro Educacional "7260" de Pachacamac en el año 2020. El estudio llevado a cabo adopta una metodología cuantitativa de carácter aplicado, con un diseño no experimental de tipo transversal y correlacional, considerando dos variables en análisis. La muestra seleccionada se basa en 15 docentes de ambos géneros, sin restricciones de edad, que integran la Institución Educativa "7260". Se optó por la encuesta como método para recolectar datos sobre dominio dirigente y la función de los docentes; utilizando un cuestionario como herramienta para ambas variables. Dicho objeto de medición fue evaluado en cuanto a su validez de contenido mediante la opinión de tres expertos, consiguiendo resultados aplicables. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Episodic encoding is more than the sum of its parts: An fMRI investigation of multifeatural contextual encoding
No full textEpisodic memories are characterized by their contextual richness, yet little is known about how the various features comprising an episode are brought together in memory. Here we employed fMRI and a multidimensional source memory procedure to investigate processes supporting the mnemonic binding of item and contextual information. Volunteers were scanned while encoding items for which the contextual features (color and location) varied independently, allowing activity elicited at the time of study to be segregated according to whether both, one, or neither feature was successfully retrieved on a later memory test. Activity uniquely associated with successful encoding of both features was identified in the intra-parietal sulcus, a region strongly implicated in the support of attentionally mediated perceptual binding. The findings suggest that the encoding of disparate features of an episode into a common memory representation requires that the features be conjoined in a common perceptual representation when the episode is initially experienced
Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
