    T-703-as kolonna működésének optimalizálása

    No full text
Munkám során azt vizsgáltam, hogy a MOL Petrolkémia Zrt. PE2 üzemének T-703-as kolonnája hogyan működhetne a legoptimálisabban.

Magnetostratigraphy of ODP Sites 114-703 and 114-703

ODP Sites 703 and 704 were drilled near the crest of the Meteor Rise in the southeastern part of the South Atlantic in order to explore the role of this aseismic rise as a barrier to the flow of deep water between the Antarctic and South Atlantic during the early evolution of the South Atlantic and to investigate the subsequent subsidence and paleoceanographic evolution of this area. A combination of shipboard whole-core paleomagnetic determinations on all archive core halves and post-cruise paleomagnetic analyses of some 440 discrete samples from the two sites has allowed definition of the sequence of geomagnetic polarity reversals that occurred during deposition of much of this sedimentary sequence. The magnetostratigraphic record for Sift 703 extends from the middle Eocene to the early Miocene and that for Site 704 from the early Miocene to the Pleistocene. The correlation of this record to the standard geomagnetic polarity time scale of Berggren et al. (1985, doi:10.1130/0016-7606(1985)962.0.CO;2) is generally good for the Oligocene and late Miocene to Pleistocene, but is poorer for the early and middle Miocene. The combined magnetostratigraphic record for these two sites will facilitate the development and chronometric calibration of refined high-latitude biostratigraphic zonations. Furthermore, it provides an important basis for defining the periodicity of the late Neogene stable isotope and carbonate fluctuations observed in these cores and relating these changes to the paleoclimatic and paleoceanographic driving forces

A successful vaccine against human RSV (HRSV) is likely to induce a Th1 or a balanced Th1/TH2 cytokine response. We tested a panel of HRSV immunostimulating complexes (ISCOMs) containing different Quillaja saponin fractions (QH-A, QH-C, and 703: a mixture of 70% QH-A and 30% QH-C) with different immunological properties for their capacity of inducing innate and acquired immune responses. The HRSV 703 ISCOMs induced the strongest innate and acquired immune responses, followed by RSV QH-C and QH-A ISCOMs. All three formulations induced various degrees of Th1 bias response with prominent production of IFN-gamma being 10-50 times higher than that of IL-4 and IL-5. The HRSV specific IgG isotype profile correlated with the predominant secretion of Th1 cytokines, with strong induction of IgG2a antibodies. The 703 ISCOMs induced the most pronounced Th1 profile followed by QH-C and QH-A ISCOMs. The high incorporation of F protein in these ISCOMs compared to G protein combined with the Th1 biased nature of ISCOM are likely to be the causes to promote a Th1 type of profile. The prospect to formulate an RSV ISCOM formulation with an optimal Th1/Th2 balance is in reach particularly in view of the versatile properties of the ISCOM concept

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    No full text
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
