Rotation, activity and lithium in NGC 6475
Radial and rotational velocities, chromospheric activity and lithium abundances are presented for an X-ray-selected sample of stars in the young (220 Myr) open cluster NGC 6475. Low-mass members of the cluster have been identified on the basis of photometric and spectroscopic criteria. The observations show that the rapid spin-down seen amongst solar-type stars in the Pleiades is incomplete at 220 Myr, as there are F, G and K stars in NGC 6475 with υ sin i > 10 km s−1. Peak rotation rates for G stars are 12–14 km s−1 and are robust to uncertain inclination angles, because the magnetic activity of these stars is less than the saturation value observed for fast rotators (υ sin i > 15 km s−1) in the Pleiades. Two mid-K stars are found with υ sin i ∼25 km s−1 and with saturated magnetic activity levels, indicating that spin-down time-scales are mass dependent, increasing from ∼ 20 Myr for early-G stars to > 75 Myr for mid-K stars. We have compared our rotation data, for the most rapidly rotating G and K stars in NGC 6475 and in young open clusters, with published rotational evolution models incorporating magnetic dynamo saturation at high rotation rates ( > Ωsat). Models with interior angular momentum transport are unable to simultaneously fit the rapidly rotating stars of the α Per, Pleiades and NGC 6475 clusters. Likely solutions are a plausible increase in the age of the Pleiades to 100 Myr, the incorporation of centrifugal wind driving in the angular momentum loss treatment, or ad hoc differences in initial conditions. If an increase in the age of the Pleiades is assumed, we find that a mass dependent Ωsat is required, such that dynamo saturation occurs for G and K stars at a Rossby number of ∼ 0.4. This value is incompatible with the faster saturation thresholds inferred from coronal X-rays, but Ωsat can be increased if solid body rotation is enforced or centrifugal wind driving is included. Comparisons with such models are favourable for G stars but less so for K stars. This may result from neglecting the evolving moment of inertia at early ages
Epifluorescence images (light differential interference contrast (DIC)/Fluorescent (DIC/FLUO)) of L. reuteri strains 6475-mCherry, 6475-CBRluc-mCherry and R2LC-mCherry.
(A) Images of recombinant bacteria after 4 hours of induction. (B) Images of recombinant bacteria after 20 hours of induction. The effect of pH and signal intensity on signal intensity was analyzed. The fluorescence signal from cells with long or short induction time (~4 vs ~20 hours) that had been cultured in MRS broth with a final pH of 4.6 was compared with that from cells at pH 7.2 under red light fluorescence filter (40x). (A and B): (a, b) 6475-mCherry; (c, d) 6475-CBRluc-mCherry; (e, f) R2LC-mCherry. All the images are presented as merged (DIC/FLUO). The scale bar shows 50 μm.</p
6475 Sayılı Posta Hizmetleri Kanunu ile Yeniden Yapılandırılan Posta Hizmetleri Teşkilatı; "PTT A.Ş."*
Our country's postal organization has been reorganized by the law numbered 6475. The alterations which have been made by the law 6475 are in compliance with Postal Directives which have been published by European Union. The law numbered 6475 has regulated " the liberalisation of postal services" and " the universal postal service principles" which have been specially cared by European Union and has put under protection these principles. Associated with there have been regulations toward liberalisation in new law alteration, "the postal monopoly" has not been abated. Besides, Information and Communications Technologies Authority has been brought into an important position in postal services. In this study; the new situation of a 1173- year- old establishment which has been changed into Postal and Telegram Organization Stock Corporation from Postal Custody as part of the new law alterations, its new place in administrative organization, its new working principals and its employees' new position will be considered
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Lithium in optically-selected G and K stars in NGC 6475 (220 Myr)
Photometric members of the open cluster NGC 6475 were observed using high resolution spectroscopy for analysis of lithium abundances in their atmospheres. We combine these new data with previously obtained lithium data, and present a comparison with one younger and one older open cluster of similar composition. The most interesting result from these data shows that metallicity is a relatively unimportant feature in describing the evolution of lithium abundance distributions from young (~100 Myr) metal-rich solar-type stars to older ones (~700 Myr). We also argue that there is tentative evidence for different lithium abundance distributions for NGC 6475 members depending on whether they are optically or X-ray selected
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis
