    The recently observed strange pentaquark candidate, P?s?(4338)0, is investigated to provide information about its nature and substructure. To this end, its mass and width through the decay channels P?s?(4338)0?J/?? and P?s?(4338)0??c? are calculated by applying two- and three-point QCD sum rules, respectively. The state is considered as a ?cD¯ meson-baryon molecular structure with spin-parity quantum numbers JP=12-. The obtained mass, mP?s?(4338)0=4338±130 MeV, and width, ?P?s?(4338)0=10.40±1.93 MeV, are consistent with the experimental data within the presented uncertainties. This allows us to assign a ?cD¯ molecular structure of JP=12- for the P?s?(4338)0 state. © 2023 authors. Published by the American Physical Society.     Production of PψsΛ(4338)P^\Lambda_{\psi s}(4338) from Ξb\Xi_b decay

    In the present work, we investigate the production of the newly observed PψsΛ(4338)P^\Lambda_{\psi s}(4338) state in Ξb\Xi_b^- decay, where the PψsΛ(4338)P^\Lambda_{\psi s}(4338) is assigned as a ΞcDˉ\Xi_c \bar{D} molecular state. By using an effective Lagrangian approach, we evaluate the branching fractions of ΞbPψsΛ(4338)K\Xi_b^-\rightarrow P^\Lambda_{\psi s}(4338)K^- via the triangle loop mechanism. The branching fractions of ΞbPψsΛ(4338)K\Xi_b^-\rightarrow P^\Lambda_{\psi s}(4338)K^- are in the order of 10410^{-4}; the result is compared with our previous work of ΞbPψsΛ(4459)K\Xi_b^-\rightarrow P^\Lambda_{\psi s}(4459)K^-. We also predict the ratio of PψsΛ(4459)P^\Lambda_{\psi s}(4459) and PψsΛ(4338)P^\Lambda_{\psi s}(4338) productions in the decay ΞbPψsΛKJ/ψΛK\Xi_b^- \to P^\Lambda_{\psi s} K^- \to J/\psi \Lambda K^-. The predicted branching fractions and their ratios could be tested experimentally, which may be helpful for understanding the molecular picture of PψsΛ(4338)P^\Lambda_{\psi s}(4338) as well as other hidden-charm pentaquark states with strangeness. Moreover, the experimental potential of observing PψsΛ(4338)P^\Lambda_{\psi s}(4338) in the ΞbKJ/ψΛ\Xi^-_b\to K^- J/\psi \Lambda is discussed.Comment: 7 pages, 5 figure

    The LHCb state PψsΛ(4338)P_{\psi s}^\Lambda(4338) as a triangle singularity

    We present a model for the J/ψΛ spectrum in B−→J/ψΛp¯ decays, including the PψsΛ(4338) baryon recently observed by the LHCb collaboration. We assume production via triangle diagrams which couple to the final state via non-perturbative interactions which are constrained by heavy-quark and SU3-flavor symmetry. The bulk of the distribution is described by a triangle diagram with a color-favored electroweak vertex, while the sharp PψsΛ(4338) enhancement is due to the triangle singularity in another diagram featuring a 1/2− baryon consistent with Σc(2800). We predict a comparable PψsΛ(4338) signal in ηcΛ, and anticipate possible large isospin mixing effects through decays to J/ψΣ0 and ηcΣ0.We present a model for the J/ψΛJ/\psi\Lambda spectrum in BJ/ψΛpˉB^-\to J/\psi \Lambda \bar{p} decays, including the PψsΛ(4338)P_{\psi s}^\Lambda(4338) baryon recently observed by the LHCb collaboration.
