Recommended methods od ergonomic assessment of manual handling of loads according to ISO 11228 standard
Ergonomija, kao multidisciplinarna znanost, predstavlja jako važnu ulogu u području logistike, a pogotovo ručnih logističkih zadataka. Ručni logistički zadaci često od radnika zahtijevaju teške fizičke napore koji posljedično prouzročuju razvoj mišićno-koštanih poremećaja (MSD-ova) i zbog toga je bilo potrebno uvesti odgovarajuća rješenja. Iz tog razloga je Internacionalna zajednica za standardizaciju (ISO) propisala normu ISO 11228 koja daje preporuke i smjernice za sigurnije ručno rukovanje materijalom. Standard se sastoji od 3 dijela - ISO 11228-1, ISO 11228-2, ISO 11228-3 i svaki dio prikazuje smjernice, preporuke i metode procjene rizika za druge aktivnosti. U ovom radu biti će objašnjeni prvi i drugi dio norme, prikazane konkretne studije za dvije metode (NIOSH, zatim Snook i Ciriello) i pojednostavljenim ilustrativnim primjerima iz svakodnevnog života pobliže prikazani načini procjene rizika. Temeljem procjena rizika korištenjem danih smjernica radni zadaci se mogu modificirati, a također se može primijeniti i odgovarajuća ergonomska oprema za koju se daje pregled na kraju rada.Ergonomics, as a multidisciplinary science, plays a very important role in the field of logistics, especially manual logistics tasks. Manual logistics tasks often require heavy physical efforts from workers which consequently cause the development of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) and therefore it was necessary to introduce appropriate solutions. This is why the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has prescribed the ISO 11228 standard, which provides recommendations and guidelines for safer manual handling of material. The standard consists of 3 parts - ISO 11228-1, ISO 11228-2, ISO 11228-3 and each part presents guidelines, recommendations and risk assessment methods for other activities. In this paper, the first and second part of the norm will be explained, concrete studies for two methods will be presented (NIOSH and Snook & Ciriello) and with simplified illustrative examples from everyday life, methods of risk assessment will be presented in more details. Based on risk assessments using the given guidelines, work tasks can be modified, and appropriate ergonomic equipment can also be applied, for which an overview is given at the end of the work
The Molecular Mechanism of circRNA-11228/miR-103/INSIG1 Pathway Regulating Milk Fat Synthesis in Bovine Mammary Epithelial Cells
Milk, known for its high content of short- and medium-chain fatty acids and unsaturated fatty acids, has attracted substantial attention due to its nutritional and health value. The regulation of fatty acid metabolism by non-coding RNAs has become a subject of growing attention, particularly in relation to fatty acid production at the transcriptional/epigenetic and post-transcriptional levels. This study established the circRNA-11228/miR-103/INSIG1 (insulin-inducible gene) regulatory network using methods such as qRT-PCR, dual luciferase reporting, and Western blot, with INSIG1 serving as the starting point. The experimental validation of circRNA-11228’s impact on cholesterol levels, lipid droplet secretion, and unsaturated fatty acid content was conducted using various assays, including triglycerides, cholesterol, oil red O, andEdU(5-ethynyl-2’-deoxyuridine) in bovine mammary epithelial cells (BMECs). Furthermore, the transfection of mimics and inhibitors synthesized from miR-103 into BMECs confirmed that miR-103 can promote cholesterol synthesis and lipid droplet secretion. Conversely, the INSIG1 gene was found to inhibit cholesterol synthesis and lipid droplet secretion. The “remediation” experiment validated the ability of miR-103 to alleviate the cellular effect of circRNA-11228. Taken together, our findings indicate that the binding of circRNA-11228 to miR-103 inhibits the expression of the target gene INSIG, thereby regulating milk fat production in BMECs. This study offers novel insights into producing high-quality milk and new ways to improve the dietary composition of residents
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. Aplicación de un plan ergonómico bajo las normas ISO 45001 e ISO 11228 en una empresa textil para el aumento de la productividad
La presente investigación tiene como objetivo principal la Aplicación de un plan
ergonómico bajo las normas ISO 45001 e ISO 11228 para el aumento de la
productividad en una empresa textil. El diseño de la investigación fue de tipo pre
experimental con una población de 27 colaboradores a quienes se les involucró en
el proceso de aplicación a través de capacitaciones, pausas activas y charlas. Tuvo
como objetivo determinar como la aplicación del plan ergonómico bajo las normas
ISO 45001 e ISO 11228 puede generar aumento de la productividad en el área de
producción. El estudio se realizó bajo un enfoque cuantitativo, con diseño
metodológico experimental de tipología cuasi experimental, siendo el Plan
Ergonómico ISO 45001 e ISO 11228 (V.I) y Productividad (V.D). La técnica
empleada fue la observación, la población fue el número de trabajadores en la línea
de costura de producción, durante un periodo de dieciséis semanas tanto antes
como después.
La aplicación del Plan Ergonómico ISO 45001 e ISO 11228 generó un aumento de
la productividad corroborando así la hipótesis principal, además se recomendó que
el área por los resultados obtenidos, sirva como modelo piloto para que las demás
jefaturas y así incrementar sus niveles de productividad
