Mechanism of resistance to hydrogen embrittlement and reliability of multi-phase Nb-TiNi alloys
タングステンを添加したNb35W5Ti30Ni30合金は、タングステン無添加合金と同等の微細組織、構造、水素固溶係数を有し、良好な水素透過性を示した。一方、水素吸蔵量は20%程度減少し、耐水素脆化性の向上が期待できる。層状組織を有するNb-TiNiおよびNb-TiCo合金の水素透過度、水素吸蔵特性を調べた結果、Nb-TiNi合金は水素固溶係数が、Nb-TiCo合金は拡散係数が水素透過に強く影響を与えることが分かった。The tungsten added Nb35W5Ti30Ni30 alloy showed similar microstructure, crystal structure and hydrogen solubility coefficient to W free alloy, its hydrogen permeation property was not degraded by W addition. Furthermore, hydrogen capacity of W added alloy was reduced by 20%, which is expected to improve resistance to hydrogen embrittlement of the alloy. Hydrogen permeability and hydrogen absorption properties of the as-cast Nb-TiNi and Nb-TiCo alloys were investigated. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Formation and hydrogen permeability of antisotropic alloys
bcc構造の(Nb, Ti)相とB2構造のTiNi相からなる複相Nb-TiNi合金の組織を制御し、微細組織と水素透過度の関係ついて調べた。強加工によって作製した異方性合金の板厚方向の水素透過度は、加工率の増加とともにより低温、短時間で回復できる。また、ラメラ組織を有する合金を熱処理すると、塊状組織が形成され水素透過度が低下する。これは、見かけの拡散係数が低下するためである。従って、水素の拡散が容易な組織により、合金の水素透過度を効率的に改善できると考えられる。The microstructures of Nb-TiNi alloys consisted of the bcc-(Nb, Ti) and B2-TiNi phases are controlled, and the relation between microstructure and hydrogen permeability is investigated. Hydrogen permeability along the normal direction in an anisotropic alloy prepared by heavy working can be improved at lower temperature and/or shorter annealing period with increasing thickness reduction. Lamellar microstructure of the eutectic Nb-TiNi alloy is disappeared by annealing forming granular two-phase structure, and its hydrogen permeability is reduced, which is caused from a reduction of hydrogen diffusivity.出典:研究課題「非Pd系水素透過合金の強加工による組織の異方化と高性能化」課題番号19686040

Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more

Controlling of crystal orientation of constituent phases in Nb-TiNi alloys and their hydrogen permeability
Nb-TiNi合金は鋳造状態で共晶組織を形成するが、圧延・熱処理により粒状組織に変化する。それに伴い、水素透過度は大きく低下する。しかし同じ粒状組織でも、圧延を行った場合と行わない場合で、水素透過度が大きく変わることを明らかにした。合金を構成する2相の方位関係を調べた結果、圧延を行わない場合は、再結晶が起こらずに相境界面を減少させるために粒状化し、両相の方位が揃うことがわかった。一方、圧延を行った場合は再結晶により粒状組織が形成され、両相の方位関係がランダムになることがわかった。以上より、合金の水素透過性は、両相の結晶方位関係に強く影響を受けることを解明した。The Nb-TiNi alloy forms a eutectic structure in the cast state, but changes to a granular structure by rolling and annealing. Hydrogen permeability also decreases by microstructural changes. However,it was clarified that hydrogen permeability was significantly different in rolled and non-rolled alloys. As a result of investigating the orientation relationship between the two phases consisututing the alloy, it was found in non-rolled alloy that granule structure is formed to reduce the phase boundary and the orientation of these two phases is aligned. On the other hand, in rolled alloy granule structure was formed by rerecrystallization, and the orientation relationship of both phases became random. We have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
