Perancangan PC Game First Person Shooter Menggunakan Unreal Development Kit
Full text linkThe development of hardware increasing rapidly has made game developers take advantage of a variety of new resources that can improve their games. Epic games is a mature game developer who managed to make thousands game and delivered to the hands of gamers . A game engine called Unreal Engine is a big secret behind the success of Epic Games . The game engine is free if you just want to learn or just want to create a personal project and the game is not to be in comercial purposes . It is unfortunate that many students don’t even know of the existence of unreal engine , most of them make use of simpler game engine like game maker , rpg maker , fps creator , and so on. Though unreal engine is superior in any aspect other than the game engine , be it graphics , tools , mechanisms of development , flexible in export-import assets , etc . Based on this information , the author had the idea to make a first person shooter game using the unreal engine as the engine game. Before doing the develpment process, the next step is studying the literature of unreal engine and other supporting software such as 3d studio max to create 3D assets , adobe flash to create the menus , adobe photoshop to create a 2D texture and speedtree assets to create the foliage elements . The next thing is to go into the design phase of scenarios , maps, missions , characters and items that will be placed in the game. The next stage is the development and testing phase to test the game that has finished .The results of the design of this game is the realization of a first person shooter game application using unreal engine with features that can support the player 's interest in playing the game . It’s also introducing unreal engine to students who are interested in designing games
Implementasi Virtual Private Server Menggunakan Xen Hypervisor
Full text linkUsing a dedicated server for one operating system that only requires resources that are not too large is a
waste. The remaining resources may be greater than the resources used, so that remaining resources will be wasted. On
the other hand, a server with one operating system will preclude the use by the different operating system.
The author suggests a method for the problem. The method offered is the use of a virtual machine that is also
called virtual private servers (VPS). With virtual machine, a server machine can be equipped with multiple operating
systems, so that existing resources can be optimized. VPS bridges the gap between shared web hosting services from
dedicated server service, giving customers the freedom from other VPS services in the realm of software, but with a
lower expenditure than dedicated servers.
Using server virtualization makes more efficient use of resources. Resources remaining unused by a single
operating system can be used by other operating systems. Virtualization also allows backup mechanisms for virtual
machine.

GUJARATI HANDWRITTEN NUMERAL OPTICAL CHARACTER THROUGH NEURAL NETWORK AND SKELETONIZATION
Full text linkThis paper deals with an optical character recognition (OCR) system for handwritten Gujarati numbers. One may find so much of work for Indian languages like Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Bangala, Malayalam, Gurumukhi etc, but Gujarati is a language for which hardly any work is traceable especially for handwritten characters. The features of Gujarati digits are abstracted by four different profiles of digits. Skeletonization and binarization are also done for preprocessing of handwritten numerals before their classification. This work has achieved approximately 80,5% of success rate for Gujarati handwritten digit identification
REALISME SOSIALIS DALAM NASKAH DRAMA BEN GO TUN KARYA SAINI KM PERSPEKTIF GEORG LUKACS
Full text linkPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaknai realisme sosialis dalam naskah drama Ben Go Tun karya Saini KM berdasarkan sosiologis sastra didukung oleh pendekatan struktural naskah drama yang terdiri oleh unsur tokoh, alur, latar, dan dialog. Naskah drama Ben Go Tun adalah karya sastra yang memperlihatkan upaya pembebasan diri dari bentuk kepalsuan dan kesadaran terhadap hegemoni kekuasaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan sejak bulan November 2019 hingga Juli 2021.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Peneliti menggunakan teori struktural drama Soediro Satoto yang meliputi tokoh, alur, latar, dan dialog. Kemudian, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan realisme sosialis Georg Lukacs yang didasarkan oleh lima aspek, yaitu realitas obyektif, gerak dialektis, materialisme historis, refleksi artistik, dan ungkapan kritis emansipatoris. Adapun makna realisme sosialis disampaikan melalui yang pertama, pandangan politis dari para tokoh yang menyoroti keadaan ekonomi dan kekuasaan. Kedua, penilaian terhadap kelompok sosial dari para seniman yang menyoroti estetika perasaan. Ketiga kesenjangan kelas sosial dari tokoh kecil yang menyoroti bentuk kehidupan, dan keempat, bentuk pemberontakan terhadap peristiwa bersejarah yang dialami pengarang dalam mengungkapkan kesadaran untuk kehidupan di masa depan.
This study aims to interpret socialist realism in the play Ben Go Tun by Saini KM based on sociological literature supported by a structural approach to the drama script consisting of elements of character, plot, setting, and dialogue. Ben Go Tun's drama script is a literary work that shows an effort to free oneself from falsehood and awareness of the hegemony of power. This research was conducted from November 2019 to July 2021.
This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method. The researcher uses the structural theory of Soediro Satoto's drama which includes characters, plot, setting, and dialogue. Then, this research uses Georg Lukacs socialist realism approach which is based on five aspects, namely objective reality, dialectical movement, historical materialism, artistic reflection, and emancipatory critical expression. The meaning of socialist realism is conveyed through the first, the political views of the figures who highlight the state of the economy and power. Second, the assessment of the social groups of the artists who highlight the aesthetic feeling. The third is the social class gap of the minor characters who highlight the form of life, and the fourth, the form of rebellion against the historical events experienced by the author in expressing awareness for future life
