No full textSara Mills' critical discourse analysis relates to gender ideology in feminism. This study aims to show and describe how patriarchal ideology shapes the way women are positioned in literary texts, as well as to reveal its influence on the subject-object position and readers. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. The subject of this research is the short story “Perempuan Pemuja Hujan” by Rosida. Data collection used the observation method with an advanced technique in the form of note-taking. The analysis of this study used the referential matching method with the basic technique of sorting determining elements (PUP). The result of this study shows that the author, as the controller of the narrative, positions the object as the subject, while the position of the object is given to the female character who is the subject of the narrative. The position of the object is presented as a party marginalized by the patriarchal system in her environment. In addition, readers are directed to empathize with the suffering of the object and reject the patriarchal system that oppresses her. However, on the other hand, the readers are also directed to blame the object for her own suffering. The main implication of this research is to uncover and describe how patriarchal ideology works in literary texts and how it affects the subject-object and reader positions. This shows that literary works are not always neutral, but can be a means of perpetuating and triggering resistance to gender injustice

No full textAbstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran ekspresi pengarang dan proses kreatif pengarang dalam menciptakan cerpen Maryam. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif yakni dokumentasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data dengan membaca secara berulang-ulang, mengumpulkan data dari isi cerita yang behubungan dengan gambaran ekspresi pengarang, melakukan penelaahan data dan menggarisbawahi isi cerita, dialog, dan perilaku tokoh berkenaan dengan gambaran ekspresi pengarang, mendeskripsikan ekspresi pengarang pada tokoh, mengumpulkan data proses kreatif (melakukan wawancara dengan pengarang), dan menarik kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini adanya gambaran ekspresi pengarang dalam bentuk takut, marah, sedih, gelisah, bingung, jengkel, tak peduli, sabar, dan cinta/kasih sayang. Perasaan ini dialami sang tokoh saat ditinggal suami. Temuan proses kreatif dalam cerpen ini yakni proses kelahiran cerpen Maryam terinspirasi dari pengalaman penulis melihat sosok perempuan bekerja sendirian di tengah perkebunan karet PTP III di Desa Gunung Malintang (Koto Baru). Kemudian pengarang menulis cerpen Maryam dengan menyesuaikan wilayah kehidupan dan adat budaya masyarakat Minang.Kata Kunci: analisis, cerpen, ekspresif Abstract. The method used in this research is descriptive method, namely documentation and interviews. The technique of analyzing data by repetitively reading, collecting data from the contents of the story that relates to the author's expressions, analyzing data and highlighting the contents of the story, dialogue, and character behavior with regard to the author's expression, describing the author's expression to the characters, collecting process data creative (conducting interviews with authors), and drawing conclusions from the results of research. The results of this study are descriptions of author expressions in the form of fear, anger, sadness, anxiety, confusion, annoyance, indifference, patience, and love / affection. This feeling is experienced by the character when the husband left. The findings of the creative process in this short story, namely the birth process of Maryam's short story, were inspired by the author's experience of seeing women working alone in the middle of PTP III rubber plantations in the Gunung Malintang Village (New Koto). Then the author wrote Maryam's short story by adjusting the area of life and cultural customs of the Minang community.Keywords: analysis, short story, expressiv

Spatial Analysis Of Atmospheric Aerosol Impact On Shortwave Radiation Over Indonesia
No full textSurface downward shortwave flux or SSWD is solar energy that ultimately reaches the earth's surface. Aerosols, water vapor and clouds have an important role in energy balance in the earthatmosphere system. Dispersal and absorption by suspended particles, such as by aerosol and cloud droplets, depending on the number, size, chemical composition and shape. Spatial and temporal heterogeneity of clouds, aerosols and water vapor variability influence SSWD. The complexity ofproblems in the study of aerosols, causing the author to consider only simplefied spatial analysis linkages wave radiation reaching the earth's surface by aerosol conditions in Indonesia. Author using the Terra satellite data for aerosol data and data MERRA for radiation data within period from 2000 to 2006. The spatial analysis conducted, areas that tend to be higher aerosol concentration, relatively received short-wave radiation much less compared to other regions that have lower aerosol concentration. In this case, areas of Borneo are areas that can be seen clearly that the concentration of aerosol tends to be higher, especially in the event of forest fires the AOD value can reach > 2. Therefore this region showed a tendency to short-wave radiation downward is less than other regions in Indonesia.Hal. 231-23

Fokus pembahasan dalam penelitian ini adalah menginterpretasikan nilai pendidikan karakter yang terdapat pada panil-panil relief Candi Rimbi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, tersebut penulis mencari nilai karakter apa saja yang terkandung dalam panil-panil relief Candi Rimbi. Terdapat 8 nilai karakter yang bisa dikaitkan dengan panil relief dalam bentuk kajian nilai pendidikan karakter diantaranya adalah nilai religius, peduli sosial, bersahabat, kerja keras, peduli lingkungan, kreatif, cinta tanah air, dan tanggung jawab. Kata Kunci : Relief Candi, Nilai Pendidikan Karakter, Nilai Moral Abstract Information on Rimbi Temple’s reliefs still rarely found. No full textThis study discusses the application of existentialism philosophy to the Bulan Bujur Sangkar manuscript embraced by Iwan Simatupang and describes Iwan Simatupang\u27s social background which proves the existence of an existentialist philosophy school. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with an expressive approach to represent the author\u27s emotions and messages in his work. The object of this research is the script of the drama Bulan Bujur Squarer by Iwan Simatupang. The collection technique in this study is a literature study. For the technique of analyzing data, use the technique of watching and taking notes. The results of the discussion found that the philosophy of existentialism embraced by Iwan Simatupang in the Bulan Bujur Sangkar Manuscript was proven in intrinsic and extrinsic elements. It is evident in the analysis of Iwan Simatupang\u27s existentialism which is reflected in the figure of the Parents. Unraveling Milk and Honey: Women’s Voice, Patriarchy, and Sexuality
No full textThis article discusses patriarchy and sexuality portrayed in Milk and Honey; a poetry collection written by Canadian author Rupi Kaur. Kaur is an amazing poet, artist, and performer who touches on trauma, feminism, migration, love, and loss in her works. Milk and Honey is a unique book of poetry as it combines written poetry with line art images. The collection is split into four chapters: “the hurting,” “the loving,” “the breaking,” and “the healing.” This research aims to show how the illustrations that appear alongside the poems have amplified the speaker’s voice in response to patriarchy and sexuality. This study deployed a descriptive, qualitative approach with close textual analysis. The illustrations are highly meaningful in how they intimately depict women\u27s bodies. Thus, these poems were analyzed within the framework of feminist literary criticism. Existing research will be considered to define the terms of the study and enrich discussion of patriarchy and women’s issues. The results show that patriarchal traditions portrayed in the poems deem women as inferior, marginalizing them in a family setting (as a mother and daughter), in the setting of romantic or intimate relationships, and even in the social and economic environment due to cultural norms. It is also revealed that women and their sexuality functioned as recreational objects for males\u27 pleasure. Within the text, women are expected to be sexually submissive, thus prone to sexual abuse in a patriarchal society. However, the speaker consistently expresses her stance against these patriarchal values throughout all chapters of this poetry collection. In conclusion, this work criticizes patriarchy and its treatment of sexuality by presenting the speaker’s experiences of patriarchy while also taking a stand against it through poems and illustrations
Implications of The Establishment of The IKN Authority on The Structure and Authority of The East Kalimantan Province Regional Government
No full textThe relocation of the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) to the archipelago opens up significant opportunities to support equitable development but also presents challenges in harmonizing authority between the IKN Authority and the East Kalimantan Regional Government. This research will examine two main issues. First, the reason for the administration of the government in the Capital City of the Archipelago is carried out by the Authority Institution. Second, what are the implications of the establishment of the IKN Authority on the structure and authority of the regional apparatus of East Kalimantan Province. This study is expected to provide an in-depth understanding of the changes that occur and their impact on local government. The research method used is Normative Juridical research by examining the applicable legal rules related to the establishment of the IKN Authority and how these rules affect the structure and authority of the regional apparatus of East Kalimantan Province. In this research, the author uses several types of approaches to broaden insight, sharpen analysis, and focus on the problems studied, namely the statutory approach, conceptual approach, and comparative approach. This study aims to examine the reasons for managing the government of the Capital City of the Archipelago through the Authority Institution and its effect on the structure and authority of the regional apparatus of East Kalimantan Province. The implementation of the IKN government is carried out by the Authority which acts as an extension of the central government, allowing flexibility in the management and structure of the IKN area. The IKN Authority and the East Kalimantan Provincial Government have different but complementary authorities. To avoid conflicts due to potential overlapping policies, clear coordination and harmonization are needed so that both parties can carry out their duties effectively
