Probing Into Identity Crisis In “Dark They Were And Golden-Eyed” Short Story
Get PDFThe present research is about the Postcolonial study of Ray Bradbury\u27s short story "Dark They Were, and Golden-Eyed." Further, this research explores the issue of identity in the short story presented by the author. In the modern world, with the increase in immigrant numbers and the constitution of countries with different cultural diversities, identity issues arise. The researchers discuss the issue of identity in the postcolonial world and how the theorists viewed and presented their ideas about constructing identity in immigrants from these countries who suffered from facing the Diasporas and the dilemma of the difficulty of growing their identity. Furthermore, the paper investigates postcolonial novelists, especially in the novel "Dark They Were and Golden-Eyed ."As postcolonial theorists considered the issue of identity as one of its essential discussions, novelists also exposed the conditions of identity crises that emerged in the postcolonial period. Therefore, the method undertakes to apply postcolonial theories to the above novel, Dark They Were and Golden-Eyed. Different aspects and elements of Post Colonialism have been described in the research to explore the Post Colonialism presented in the novel, like ambivalence, racism, otherness, and hybridity

Document pertaining to the incumbent of the Chishtī shrine at Dhār.
ed note: This document, like EAP1416-05, is not dated but is addressed to Ināyat sāhab. He appears in the lineage of Kamāl al-Dīn (EAP1416-33) and is called Ināyat al-Pīrzāda in a document of one his successors dated 1893 CE (EAP1416-01); he was a cousin of Luṭfullāh (لطف الله), the author of Autobiography of Lutfullah : a Mohammedan Gentleman and his Transactions with his Fellow-creatures, 3rd ed., edited by Edward Eastwich (London: Smith, Elder and Co., 1858). This suggests a date range between c. 1860 and c. 1890 CE.موجز: This is an entreaty ('अर्ज़ी Pers. 'arz̤ī, عرضی) addressed to Ināyat sāhib who greeted with respect and praised by the petitioners, Ghisābhāī and Wazirbhāī, having come to him for redress and blessings in a time of personal difficulty. On account of their friendship, a certain Raghunātha will come to explain the matter to Ināyat sāhab, who is requested to give him a personal audience and resolve the matter. [ed note: The Ghāśibhāī mentioned here is probably the same individual mentioned in EAP1416-05; as with that document, the accompanying account of the appeal has not been located, so the substance of the matter is not known.

This version: fixed author listInternational audienceOur current understanding of the Universe is established through the pristine measurements of structure in the cosmic microwave background (CMB) and the distribution and shapes of galaxies tracing the large scale structure (LSS) of the Universe. One key ingredient that underlies cosmological observables is that the field that sources the observed structure is assumed to be initially Gaussian with high precision. Nevertheless, a minimal deviation from Gaussianityis perhaps the most robust theoretical prediction of models that explain the observed Universe; itis necessarily present even in the simplest scenarios. In addition, most inflationary models produce far higher levels of non-Gaussianity. Since non-Gaussianity directly probes the dynamics in the early Universe, a detection would present a monumental discovery in cosmology, providing clues about physics at energy scales as high as the GUT scale
