Hydrodynamics of Klang Estuary / Hairudin Abu Hazar
In recent years engineering problems in estuary have received increased attention from the practitioner, the experimentalist, and the analyst in view of the important functions assigned to estuaries in the human environment. The South Port of Port Klang being situated right at the mouth of Klang River has problems of siltation ever since it operated. This siltation is caused by sediment discharge from the river entering the sea, The mixing process with denser saltwater and tidal rise and fall causes sedimentation problems in the estuary to be more serious than that encountered in the coastal regions. Thus, an analysis is required to study the hydrodynamics of the Klang Estuary. The hydrodynamics of an estuary is a complex process due to interaction of the freshwater flow and the tidal movements of the sea It is determined by the coexistence of fresh water flow, strong tidal and wind currents generating turbulent fluctuations and mixing, and small but still significant salinity gradients and gravity effects. Being a complex environment where freshwater from the river mixes with denser saltwater from the sea, it is therefore important that the hydrodynamics of the Klang Estuary be carefully understood. This hydrodynamic characteristic which is unique to each estuary is then used to predict the behaviour and patterns of sedimentation
Business Model Canvas : Brava / Muhamad Danial Hairudin
The BMC report on my product which is BRAVA can act as the business plan. The goal is to look beyond spreadsheets, market research and financial projections. It is interesting to note that although the main focus of the BMC is to establish the foundation of the business model, it also may help in enhancing my business as it evolves. There are many advantages on BMC I can take for my new idea product which is, I have an overview of what my business model really is, I can also cut which activities are not so important. Moreover, by using BMC, I can clearly stack my idea into cleared structured form. In other words, it can offer me an overview of the business idea from every perspective, thus make it easier for my company executing the project of producing the produc
Case Study : Rozeriya Enterprise / Muhamad Danial Hairudin
Rozeriya Enterprise was established in 2006 as a food manufacturing business at Kuala Krai, Kelantan. In 2007, it redirected its focus on the frozen food and beverage (F&B) industry and started its first F&B chain, spring rolls. In spite of the 2008 Great Recession Crisis, which had far-reaching negative economic impact within Asia, Rozeriya Enterprise overcame extreme odds and triumphed at a time which saw many other F&B outlets closed down. Rozeriya Enterprise managed to survive until today with a capital amounting RM20,000.
Rozeriya Enterprise chose to focus on its originality and innovative style as a frozen food manufacturing business in order to distinguish itself from other F&B companies. It consistently offered customers in Kuala Krai a taste of the latest international taste trends such as creamy mushroom spring rolls and creamy crab spring rolls. Moreover, management at Rozeriya Enterprise had always placed (and
still does) strong emphasis on understanding what their patrons wanted and strove to be sensitive to their needs. All these paid off handsomely.
In 2018, Rozeriya Enterprise had a total o f four new spring rolls fillings that had been introduced, namely BBQ Mushroom Spring Rolls, Tuna Mayo Spring Rolls, Creamy Corn Spring Rolls and Creamy Pumpkin Spring Rolls. In 2019, it introduced another two new fillings, Creamy Mushroom Spring Rolls and Creamy Crab Spring Rolls. Other than that, Rozeriya Enterprise has made variety on its
business by introducing Malaysian Kuih in its production. It has diversified its business and now the firm involved in franchising its brands, frozen food import and distribution, business-to-business supplies and events caterin

VHF preamplifier design and fabrication for weather satelitte receiver system / Hairudin Jamin
The function of the preamplifier is to amplify a low-level signal to higher level before further processing. The required amplification is achieved by increasing the signal voltage. Besides amplifying the low-level signal, it is used to overcome other losses especially those due to long coaxial transmission between the antenna and the receiver

The determinants of health expenditure in high income countries for the year 2014 / Nor Ramdha Hairudin
Health expenditure is a platform where a country should not feel like it is a burden because it can give good impact to the country if the government itself could handle it properly. Also, health expenditure could not be the causes of any bankruptcy. In fact, it is actually one of the reason a country could generate profit. This paper examines the health expenditure in high income countries over the period of year 2014. The dependent variable of this research is health expenditure (HE) using four independent variables which are Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Out-of-Pocket (OOP), population 65 year and above (POP), and life expectancy (LE). These independent variables are used to see whether there is significant or insignificant relationship with health expenditure. These high income countries are used to examine because the countries contribute high health expenditure especially in GDP. The data is collected from World Development Indicators (WDI) with the different countries from high income countries and the data that had been used in this research is quantitative secondary data and the data structure is cross sectional data. This paper used ordinary least squares (OLS) method which is a method to minimize an error. The findings indicate that the independent variable for GDP and LE have positive relationship with HE and GDP is the higher level impact in health expenditure. The results of all the study suggest that greater government spending can provide better overall health expenditur
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
