Uganda and Tanzania Land Administration Modernization Based on IT-Leap Concept
IGN FI has successfully implemented pilot projects to establish national land information systems in Uganda (2010- 2013) and Tanzania (2016-2019, ILMIS project) and is now in the final stages of implementing the roll-out of the National Land Information System (DESINLISI project) in Uganda (2015-2020). This paper and presentation will provide a detailed description of those projects implemented by IGN FI in cooperation with Innola Solutions

Author Correction: Climatic controls of decomposition drive the global biogeography of forest-tree symbioses

Nabuurs was omitted, and he should have been associated with an additional affiliation: ‘Forest Ecology and Forest Management Group, Wageningen University and Research, Wageningen, The Netherlands’ (now added as affiliation 182). In addition, the following two statements have been added to the Supplementary Acknowledgements. (1): ‘We would particularly like to thank The French NFI for the work of the many field teams and engineers, who have made extraordinary efforts to make forest inventory data publicly available.’ (1): ‘Sergio de Miguel benefited from a Serra- Húnter Fellowship provided by the Generalitat of Catalonia.’ Finally, the second sentence of the Methods section should have cited the French NFI, which provided a national forestry database used in our analysis, to read as follows: ‘The GFBi database consists of individual-based data that we compiled from all the regional and national GFBi forest-inventory datasets, including the French NFI (IGN—French National Forest Inventory, raw data, annual campaigns 2005 and following, https://inventaire-forestier.ign.fr/spip.php?rubrique159, site accessed on 01 January 2015)’. Engineered dextranase from Streptococcus mutans enhances the production of longer isomaltooligosaccharides
Herein, we investigated enzymatic properties and reaction specificities of Streptococcus mutans dextranase, which hydrolyzes α-(1→6)-glucosidic linkages in dextran to produce isomaltooligosaccharides. Reaction specificities of wild-type dextranase and its mutant derivatives were examined using dextran and a series of enzymatically prepared p-nitrophenyl α-isomaltooligosaccharides. In experiments with 4-mg·mL⁻¹ dextran, isomaltooligosaccharides with degrees of polymerization (DP) of 3 and 4 were present at the beginning of the reaction, and glucose and isomaltose were produced by the end of the reaction. Increased concentrations of the substrate dextran (40 mg·mL⁻¹) yielded isomaltooligosaccharides with higher DP, and the mutations T558H, W279A/T563N, and W279F/T563N at the -3 and -4 subsites affected hydrolytic activities of the enzyme, likely reflecting decreases in substrate affinity at the -4 subsite. In particular, T558H increased the proportion of isomaltooligosaccharide with DP of 5 in hydrolysates following reactions with 4-mg·mL⁻¹ dextran.Abbreviations CI: cycloisomaltooligosaccharide; CITase: CI glucanotransferase; CITase-Bc: CITase from Bacillus circulans T-3040; DP: degree of polymerization of glucose unit; GH: glycoside hydrolase family; GTF: glucansucrase; HPAEC-PAD: high performance anion-exchange chromatography-pulsed amperometric detection; IG: isomaltooligosaccharide; IGn: IG with DP of n (n, 2‒5); PNP: p-nitrophenol; PNP-Glc: p-nitrophenyl α-glucoside; PNP-IG: p-nitrophenyl isomaltooligosaccharide; PNP-IGn: PNP-IG with DP of n (n, 2‒6); SmDex: dextranase from Streptococcus mutans; SmDexTM: S. mutans ATCC25175 SmDex bearing Gln100‒Ile732

The numerical solution of waveguide discontinuity problems
A computational method for solving a wide range of transverse and longitudinal waveguide discontinuity problems is described. Results are obtained by the simultaneous solution of matrix equations, generated by Fourier analysis, which relate the complex amplitudes of orthogonal electric and magnetic field components. In some cases the solution is found to be sensitive to the way in
which infinite series of field functions are truncated, and it is shown how the optimum form of truncation can be determined for many configurations of practical importance.
Several examples showing the application of the method are
given, and comparison of results with those obtained by experiment, and by other analytical techniques, confirms its accuracy.
The application of the method in the design of discontinuities for higher-mode generation in multimode antennas is considered, particularly in connection with a multimode monopulse feed for a satellite-communication reflector antenna. Primary and secondary characteristics are determined theoretically for various modeconverter
configurations, allowing those giving satisfactory allround
performance to be selected. Comparison with conventional
feeds shows the multimode feed to be superior in many respects. A prototype multimode feed is constructed, and theoretical primary radiation patterns are compared with those obtained experimentally
Francisci-Josephi Desbillons e Societate Jesu Fabularum Aesopiarum Libri Decem Diligenter Emendati post Editionem Tertiam Parisinam Quam Solam Auctor Agnoscit
Here is a fascinating edition. It reproduces the third edition from Paris, which I have under 1759. It has thus ten books of fables. There are several surprises here. First, the Society had already been suppressed several years earlier, but here in 1776 he is still proclaiming himself a Jesuit. Secondly, he had already published a fifteen-book edition in Mannheim in 1768. What is happening with a ten-book edition in 1776? Thirdly, what is that Fratrum Ign. on the title-page. Is there still a Jesuit remnant, like the Gentlemen of Maryland in the USA? Fourthly, this is the third edition published in Germany. What were the first two? There are here no illustrations. I am delighted to have this mysterious book in the collection! I would like to talk with Francois-Joseph about his fable editions…. An index on the last page apparently lists the twenty-two joci and five narrationculae. The selecta philosophorum veterum placita is a single text on 217-224. There is an AI on 225-231.This is a hardbound book (hard cover)Language note: LatinTertia in GermaniaFranciscus-Josephus Desbillon
ANALISA KOMPETENSI WIRAUSAHA DAN STRATEGI DIFERENSIASI PRODUK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PERFORMA USAHA
The author conducts research with the title "Entrepreneurship Competency Analysis and Product Differentiation Strategies to Improve Business Performance" to find out how the application of competency standards and product differentiation strategies are applied to improve business performance in SMEs 9996 Kriya Daun Workshop. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data obtained through observation, interviews and subsequent documentation studies were analyzed using a deductive mindset. The results of the analysis of the 9996 Kriya Daun Workshop Craft has good competence. But there are still things that are less effective such as in terms of organizing and maximizing media for marketing. Product Differentiation Strategy applied has also had a good effect on the performance of the business being run. Evidenced by the ability of MSMEs to penetrate the export market, and business continuity in competing in markets that have been running for 22 years. Keywords: Entrepreneurship Competence, Product Differentiation Strategy and Business Performanc
